USS Vincennes?

I admit it, I forgot, too! And I’m old enough to remember. I recall where I was and what I was doing on July 3, 1988, but it took a look at Mehr News Agency to jog my memory. Oh yes, the US missile cruiser USS Vincennes did indeed attack an unarmed, Iranian airliner flying within the commercial air corridor and blew it out of the sky, killing 290 human beings.

We have a shoot first and ask questions later approach to the Middle East. This has only gotten worse during the Bush presidency.

I have always argued that Iran needs nuclear weapons to protect what is Iran's, because so many are trying to take it from them.

Oil is a curse in today's world.

Thank you, xexon, for your comment. US debt increases as does its bellicose policies. Pakistan is NOT member of the NPT, has nuclear weapons and is rewarded. Likewise for Israel and India. Iran is a member, bends over backwards to comply, does its processing under IAEA supervision and it is terrorist state.
