Would you prefer a Tiffany ring or Zalediamond
The Tiffany ring is just over 1ct and costs about the
same as a 2ct from Zales.
I really dont think it matters she will like it either way if it is from you.

1. Settings are better. (more stylish, well made, etc.)
2. Excellent documentation re: diamond's quality.
3. Romantic association. (No one proposes at Zales or features Zales in a movie, etc.)
If you want to save some $, never mind Zales. Consider bluenile.com.
I have a friend in the wholesale jewelry business & she says they have strict standards w/ prices that are hard to beat.
BTW, don't waste your money on a plain wedding band from Tiffany. Wedding bands are pretty much all the same & Tiffany carries the plain ones just because people want them.
