I highly recommend leveling herbalism in this fashion, as you don't have to worry about mobs in the area, as most of them will drop within 1-2 hits. I first took alchemy around level 21 and simply ran around the areas where low level toons (level 5-15) roam. By running around the entire map in a circular fashion, I was able to level up my herbalism skill to 75 in just about a cheap wow gold. After leveling up to journeyman Herbalist, I headed back out and hit 100 in another 30 minutes. Now for those rolling a warrior from scratch, hopefully this guild will help. I do suggest to take a buddy though. Start running Sunken Temple. Great loot and xp and if you are a skinner plenty dragons to skin. To the left are 3 wow golds, to the right are 3 mobs and in the back right corner are 2 cheap wow gold. The two groups of 3 are not linked but all 6 will aggro if you pull one because the two groups are too close together. Common knowledge is that Drain Tanking is the most efficient leveling spec. Few realize, however, that it is nearly useless before level 30, due to the weakness of the lower versions of the Drain Life spell. Also, obviously to be completely self sufficient in alchemy, you have to be an herbalist as well. Alchemy without herbalism is useless.
