Regeneration of transformer oils is needed when the transformer oil has
deteriorated to a level whereby regular oil purification (cleaning
& filtration) is no longer adequate. The regeneration or
reclamation process requires passing the deteriorated transformer oil
through an adsorbent media such as specifically prepared (know-how)
sorbent powder.
Sorbent powder’s consumption in URM-0,5 is ranged between 4% and 6%
of the weight of regenerated oil. One-pass clay load is 50 kg, which
enables regeneration of 1 ton of oil.
The URM-0,5 system includes oil heater, coarse filter, fine filter, and
oil pump are assembled together in a single unit (Fig.1). A
press-filter, the separate unit (Fig. 2), holds sorbent powder for
final processing of oil
that has passed the main unit.

Oil Regeneration &
reclamation systems for industrial lubrication oils. Transformer Oil
Regeneration Station type (R) 0,8 is apply to purify and regenerate the
used insulating oils such as power transformer oil, high-voltage switch
oil, mutual inductor oil whose viscosity at temperature 50 C does not
exceed 70 cSt. It removes water, gas, particulate matters, free carbon,
deep oxides. It also removes acidity and vaccuumizes a transformer. The
Station can recover the oil color. After purification, the used
insulating oil can reach international standard and recover its
original function. Oil Regeneration Station is used for mounting,
repairing and operating high-voltage oil equipment with voltage up to
1150 kV (power transformers, high-voltage switches, mutual inductors,
cable and capacitors which have insulation system). The machine
complies with number 4 category placement and climatic design UHL as
per GOST 15 150-69. Capacity, m3/h 0,7 Sorbent consumption, % by oil
weight 4-6 One-time sorbent feeding, kg 50 Oil temperature, 95 Oil
heater power, W 27 Set power consumption, W 37 Three-phase VAC~ 50 Hz,
V 380.

Oil Regeneration System URM-0.7 is one of the rang eof transformer oil regeneration systems proposed. It is designed for regeneration of transformer oil, industrial oil, and turbine oil, with viscosity up to 70 cSt at 50ะก, removing solids, water and gases from the oils. The oil regeneration plant is used for mounting, repairing and operating of high-voltage oil equipment with voltage up to 1150 kV (power transformers, high-voltage switches etc.)
