    بعد الاخطبوط العراف "بول" الذي نال شهرة واسعة في الأشهر الأخيرة حين توقع نتائج مباريات كأس العالم، ظهر عراف جديد من مملكة الحيوانات في استراليا،هو التمساح "هاري" الذي اختار رئيسة الحكومة الأسترالية الحالية جوليا غيلارد للفوز في الانتخابات الفدرالية التي ستجري في 21 آب/أغسطس الحالي.

وذكرت شبكة "أيه بي سي" الأسترالية أن التمساح الذي يبلغ طوله 4.9 أمتار اختار تناول دجاجة وضعت عليها صورة غيلارد بدل دجاجة أخرى وضعت عليها صورة زعيم المعارضة طوني أبوت. وقد تردد التمساح الذي يبلغ وزنه 720 كيلوغراماً لمدة 5 دقائق قبل اختيار الدجاجة التي سيتناولها أمام حشد كبير تجمع لمشاهدته. وكان التمساح هاري قد اختار الشهر الماضي الفريق الاسباني للفوز ببطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم.

وقال مربي التمساح، نايجل بالمر "لقد رأى المستقبل وأظن أن لديه أمرا مشتركا مع الأخطبوط بول". وتشهد استراليا في 21 آب/أغسطس الجاري منافسة انتخابية حامية أظهرت استطلاعات الرأي ان نتائجها ستكون متقاربة بين حزب العمال الحاكم والمعارضة بزعامة أبوت.

  • قامت بدور الأم البديلة لزميلتها كفاعلة خير و كانت النتيجة أن تحول الحمل لكارثة، فتغيرت حياتها واهكلت حياتها الأسرية بمافيهم طفليها و زوجها وكانت الغاية نبيلة و لكن الوسيلة جعلتها ترفع شعار كلا والف كلا.ومرة واحدة تكفي .كانت والدتها رافضة للفكرة وكذلك زوجها ،/ولكنهما أذعنا حيال إصرارها أذعنا و رفعا الراية البيضاء. كانت زوميلتها أنيتا تتمنى أن تنجب وتقاسما الخبز و وماكان يطبخه زوج أنيتا الطباخ من الطعام حين كانا يعملان في مستشفى قبل فترة. ولماعلمت مؤخرا أن أنيتا اصيبت بسرطان عنق الرحم،وبالتالي أستؤصل رحم أنيتا ،ولكنها إحتفظت بالبويضات،وبالتالي تم تلقيحها بويضتين من بويضات انيتا بالحيوانات المنوية لزوجها الطباخ وتم زؤرعهما في رحم الأم البديلة سارة واتكينز في عيادة متخصصة بالتخصيب الصناعي في بريطانيا.
  • في المرة الأولى لم يتم الحمل،ولكن لاحقا تكللت جهودهم بالنجاح ،ولكتن عملية الحمل لم تمر بسلام ،فلقد مرضت الأم البديلة سارة و إنتبها القلق خوفا على مشاعر الأم الحقيقية أوالبيولوجية أنيتا المنتظرة بشغف لأن تصبح أما.
  • أصيبت سارة بمرض في الكبد وكا عليها أن تلد قبل المدة، كادت أن تموت بعد أن وضعت مولود أنيتا .لم تأخذ سارة أموالا طائلة من أنيتا كما تفعل بعض الأمهات البديلات لتصل ل 30 ألفا إسترلينيا ،بل أـخذت ماتتكلفه عملية الحمل من تكاليف .

   

I gave birth to my friend's baby - and it nearly cost me my life

When Sarah Watkins, a 28-year-old mother of two from Leigh, Lancashire, agreed to be a surrogate for a friend, she had no idea how close she would come to tragedy...

Lying on my hospital bed after giving birth, with the doctors and midwives bustling around me, I began to lose consciousness. Sounds and voices were fading into the background. Before I knew what was happening, I was wearing an oxygen mask and waking up to alarm bells as a crash team battled to save my life.

I couldn't see anything and was crying out for my husband Dave. Reaching out, I felt him grab my hand, letting me know he was there. I was more terrified than I'd ever been in my life. This was it: I was going to die.

Above all else, I thought about my two young sons, Matthew, who was two-and-a-half, and 18-month-old Adam, and wondered if they'd ever forgive me for leaving them.

This was not how I imagined it would be when I agreed to be a surrogate mother for a friend.

I couldn't have been happier in my own pregnancies. My hair shone, my skin glowed and everyone commented on how healthy I looked. I'd loved every minute. When Adam was born in April 2007 after an easy labour, I felt bereft at the thought I might never experience pregnancy again.

Dave and I had agreed we could not afford a bigger family. It was during my second pregnancy that I started reading about surrogacy. We'd done it all so easily, but thousands of couples struggle to have a family, spending tens of thousands of pounds and experiencing years of anguish trying to have a baby.

A friend's sister had real problems conceiving, which made the issue feel personal to me. I mentioned to Dave that surrogacy was something I'd be interested in, but he didn't take much interest, presumably thinking it was a whim I'd soon forget about. 

 

 

But after Adam was born I came across the surrogacy charity COTS and read some accounts on its website forums. I sat Dave down and told him I was serious.

The baby wouldn't be ours - we'd just be keeping it warm 'until it was cooked' - but he wasn't convinced. He was worried I wouldn't be able to cope with being pregnant, holding down a job and looking after two young children.

Dave wasn't worried about giving up the baby because it wouldn't be part of our family, but I know he had doubts about how I'd feel after carrying it for nine months. But I was 26 and had lots of energy.

I wanted that amazing feeling of being pregnant while helping another couple. We looked at the website together and, after a week of badgering, Dave came round to the idea. He said he'd support me.

We filled in the application forms, had Criminal Records Bureau checks and then met a support worker for counselling about what potentially could go wrong, from medical complications to separation issues. I wasn't worried. I'd had two perfect pregnancies and was young, so I couldn't see anything but positives.

Dave had more reservations, but wanted to support me because he could see I was so determined. Of course, when you're so focused on something, you ignore all the possible downsides, something I deeply regret.

We were sent profiles of couples who had joined COTS, desperate to find a surrogate. I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted Anita, a former colleague with whom I'd worked at Warrington hospital a few years ago.

I remembered those long nights when our shifts would overlap and we'd share the tiramisu that her husband Gerardo, a chef, had made her. She had mentioned they were trying for a family, but I had no idea they'd had problems because we'd left our jobs about the same time.

There's a huge element of trust in becoming a surrogate - I'd heard stories about couples getting cold feet or running out of funds, leaving the surrogate literally holding the baby - so it helped that I knew Anita already.

So I contacted COTS, saying I knew Anita and was keen to be her surrogate. An hour later, I got a call from Anita, who was overjoyed to hear from me. There are a total of only 600 surrogates and intending parents in Britain at any one time, so the odds of two friends hooking up like that must be a million to one.

We had a long chat, during which she told me she'd had cervical cancer and had to have a hysterectomy. Luckily, the doctors had harvested her eggs and she had ten frozen embryos, so was at the stage where she needed a surrogate.

She was understandably concerned about the cost, which can be up to £30,000, but I assured her I just wanted to help and would charge for only legitimate expenses, not perks such as long holidays and a new wardrobe that some surrogates claim.

We met at a local restaurant for Sunday lunch. I'd never met her husband Gerardo, and Dave had never met either of them, so it was great to put faces to names.

You're signing up to spending a large chunk of a year - if not the rest of your lives - with these people, so you have to make sure you get on. Dave thought they were fantastic, so I emailed them when I got home to say: 'Let's do it.'

The process of implanting the embryos was simple and painless. In November 2007, I drove to a clinic in Manchester, where doctors fed a straw into my uterus, flushed the embryos through with saline solution and told me to lie down for half an hour.

I had two embryos implanted to increase the chances of conceiving, but that also meant a one in four chance of twins. When I found out a couple of weeks later that it hadn't worked, I felt as if I'd let everyone down and that I'd done something wrong.

Anita was distraught. Despite all the warnings that there is only a one in 25 chance of success, you think you'll be lucky. A couple of months later, we tried again, and this time it worked.

On the day of the official pregnancy test, Anita was hysterical. I was thrilled for her, but for the first time I realised the reality of the situation. This was it - there could be no turning back.

It was such a huge responsibility to have someone else's baby for them, and while I didn't say it to anyone at the time, that was a huge weight to bear.

With your own children, you just get on with it, but as a surrogate mother I felt anxiety and under pressure. Dave and I had planned a long weekend to Rome later that month, but I knew Anita was anxious and would be happier if I stayed at home.

We did go, but I promised I'd phone every day. All this anxiety fed back into how I felt about the whole thing, making what should have been a lovely break rather stressful.

The six, nine and 12-week scans were all fine, so I then told my boss and colleagues at the antenatal clinic where I worked as a phlebotomist - an assistant who takes blood samples - that I was pregnant. I had told my parents about my plan before I contacted COTS, and Mum was not happy.

'Anything could happen, births are never easy,' she said. But, like Dave, she said she'd support me in whatever I wanted to do.

Anita and I met at all the scans and became really close, but I never shared my increasingly negative feelings because I didn't want to worry her. When I had a 3D scan and found out I was carrying a boy, I gave her all of Adam's newborn baby clothes.

Then one day at work, I felt an intense, dull ache in the back of one calf. The consultant noticed it was noticeably bigger than the other one - often a sign of a dangerous blood clot.

I was given an injection to thin the blood and get rid of any clot, which they assured me couldn't do any harm to me or the baby. I drove home straight away, but on the way I started feeling dizzy and sick.

My skin was incredibly itchy and I had an agonising pain under the right side of my ribs - it felt as if my back was being snapped in two. I somehow managed to get home, but had to crawl through the front door. I told Dave to call an ambulance. The paramedics gave me pain relief and oxygen, and the agony started to subside.

When I got to hospital, I was told I had suffered a severe, but rare, reaction to the blood-thinning drug. A scan showed I didn't have a clot. The baby was fine, but blood samples showed I had a pregnancy-related liver disease that meant I had a significantly higher chance of a stillbirth and haemorrhaging during labour.

There was nothing they could do about it until I gave birth, after which it would clear up naturally. As if that wasn't enough, the doctors said it was unusual to suffer pain with this condition, so I had another scan. They found I had gallstones.

I would rather give birth to quads than have gallstones - whenever I had an attack, it felt as if I was being shot and my back was splitting in two. I was in so much pain I couldn't breathe, with crippling spasms going up and down my spine.

You are normally prescribed morphine to deal with the pain, but because I was pregnant I could take only paracetamol, which was useless. I also developed a condition where the ligaments in the pelvis become loose, so it twists and turns.

It was so painful that when I'd turn over in bed I could hear my bones crack. It was week 31 of the pregnancy and every time I ate I was sick. I was in permanent agony and had the prospect of giving birth to a dead baby or dying myself in labour.

Dave never said anything, but I knew he was feeling the same regret I was experiencing. I was so depressed, thinking: 'What the hell am I doing?' I wasn't looking forward to the magical moment of giving birth any more; I was just so frightened and kicking myself for being such a fool.

And what about my two boys? I had no energy and was a terrible mum. I couldn't do anything with them because I was feeling so sick. They were being ignored and had no idea why their mummy was ill.

Because of the liver condition, I was booked for an induced birth at 38 weeks. I went in to the hospital at 8am on September 19, 2008, and by the late afternoon, minor contractions had started. After just a few minutes, I was told to push. The baby was born almost straight away.

Once they'd checked him, they asked me if I wanted him placed on my chest, but I said: 'No, give him to his mum.'

The fact the child would be a different race to me had never really crossed my mind before or during the pregnancy. But once I'd had him, I think it made it easier to hand him over because he didn't look anything like me. It was a bit of a shock to see a baby that was so obviously not mine come out of me. And then, shortly after the birth, everything went black as I lost consciousness.

Thanks to the medical team, I made a full recovery. After everything I had been through, I felt relief that the ordeal was over. I'd got my life back, I would see my sons again, and the liver disease and all those other complications would start to clear up after all those weeks of agony.

Anita was in tears and said she'd always be in debt to me. I was pleased for her, but I pledged to myself I would never do that to my family again.

Dave was as white as a sheet. I simply hadn't thought about my family enough through the whole process - it had all been about me and what I wanted, not them. I couldn't say sorry enough for what I'd put them through.

I'm not denying the amazing feeling of giving someone else a baby, but it's the traumatic side of the experience that will stay with me.

Over the next couple of weeks, all that had happened really began to hit home. When I thought I'd almost left my boys orphaned and would have missed seeing them go to school and grow up, I was close to tears, thinking about how self-centred I'd been.

Then the doctors gave me some more bad news: there was a high chance I'd end up with the liver condition if I got pregnant again, so it wouldn't be safe to have another baby.

We hadn't planned on having another child, but I never expected to have that option taken away from me. It was yet one more thing I had put my family through.

We meet Anita, Gerardo and Lewis, their son, every few weeks, and I speak to her on the phone every week. We're friends for life and nothing can take away that bond.

The biggest positive of the experience, beside from making me appreciate my family more, was the springboard it gave me to get fit.

I don't want to put off anyone else being a surrogate and still think it's a wonderful thing to do, but you have to realise there can be complications. You need to put yourself and your family first - to risk that is madness.

«الرجل الحديدي» يسحب حافلة وزنها 8 أطنان بشعره

    تمكن مانجيت سينج وهو مستشار أمني عمره 59 عاما من ليسيستر في انجلترا يطلق عليه "الرجل الحديدي" من جر حافلة ركاب من طابقين تزن أكثر من ثمانية أطنان بشعر رأسه لمسافة 21.2 مترا.

وسجل الرقم القياسي الجديد في وسط لندن ليتزامن مع الذكرى السنوية الخامسة لظهور كتاب جينيس للارقام القياسية العالمية.

وجاء أحدث انجاز لسينج بعد شعوره بخيبة امل في عام 2007 عندما فشل في تحطيم رقم قياسي في جر حافلة من طابقين بأذنيه.

وقال "لم يثبط هذا الفشل من عزيمتي أبدا لأنني أعلم أن النجاح قد ينتظرني في المرة القادمة".

ويعتبر كتاب جينيس للارقام القياسية العالمية حجة للارقام القياسية في انحاء العالم وبيع منه أكثر من 100 مليون نسخة.

Man breaks record for pulling a London bus with his hair

A strongman broke the world's most hair-raising record this morning when he pulled a double decker bus more than 20 metres – using only his hair.

Manjit Singh, a 59-year-old from Leicester, attached a clamp to his thick ponytail and bore the pain of pulling a seven ton vintage routemaster 21.2 metres through Battersea Park to set a new world record and celebrate Guinness World Record day.

After the event he said: "It was painful, but it was worth it. I could only think about my legs and head and keeping on going to set a record, to go as far as I could."

He said that there was no training he could do to prepare for the event and he had no special regime for his unbreakable hair. "I just use shampoo, like the kind you can get in any pound shop up and down the country," he laughed.

The motivation to attempt the bizarre record came from his failure to pull a similar bus attached only to his ears two years ago. The father of four said: "My children think it's great, they think I'm a real star now."

The bus pull was just one of the records attempted around the world to celebrate Guinness World Records day. In London people attempted the world's biggest group hug, in Northern Ireland people attempted the world's biggest human domino fall and in Texas people attempted the world's biggest simultaneous lassoing

جنات "شكل تاني" في كليب جديد تغني لأول مرة علي موسيقي "الهاوس" ذات الايقاع السريع

اختارت النجمة المغربية جنات أغنية "انا دنيته" من ألبومها الأخير "حب امتلاك" لتصويرها علي طريقة الفيديو كليب. استغرق تصوير الكليب 23 ساعة قضتها جنات في الاستوديو ولم تغادره إلا بعدما انتهي التصوير. فكرة الكليب تعتمد علي المؤثرات البصرية بشكل رئيسي. وحاليا يعكف المنتج احمد الدسوقي علي عمل مونتاج الكليب الذي من المتوقع ان يستغرق وقتا طويلا حتي لا يحدث خلال في المؤثرات البصرية ومن المنتظر ان يعرض الكليب علي شاشات القنوات الفضائية الغنائية أول أيام عيد الفطر المبارك. جنات تظهر في هذا الكليب بأربعة مناظر مختلفة تمامًا. ومن كواليس الكليب: حرص المنتج علي الحضور وقال ان اختيار هذه الاغنية تحديدا جاء لأنها تعتمد بشكل أساسي علي موسيقي "الهاوس" وهذه هي أول مرة يري فيها الجمهور جنات وهي تغني علي أنغام هذه الموسيقي الراقصة ذات الايقاع السريع. ويقول محمد جمعة مخرج الكليب: احيانا اعمل مع مطرب يتمتع بصوت جيد لكنه لا يحظي بقبول علي الشاشة وهذا الأمر يرهقني جدا كمخرج في اخراج الكليب. لكن جنات مطربة تتمتع بالصوت الجيد والكاريزما العالية لذلك أعمالنا دائما ما تنجح سويا لأن كليباتي معها دائما ما تنجح. أما النجمة جنات فلقد أعربت عن سعادتها الكبيرة بأنها تتعاون للمرة الثالثة مع المخرج محمد جمعة بعدما اخرج لها عام 2006 كليب "أكتر من سنة" وعام 2007 كليب "بحبك". وعن الكليب الجديد تقول: علي الرغم من ان موسيقي الاغنية تعتمد علي الرقص فإن الكليب سيعتمد علي ايقاع الصورة السريع فقط. وأشادت جنات بالإستايلست مايا التي اختارت لها في هذا الكليب الظهور ب"لوك" جديد أكثر جرأة وهو الأمر الجديد تماما عليها. وأخيرًا قالت جنات إن رمضان هذا العام مختلف تماما بالنسبة لها لأنها تقضيه مع اسرتها في المغرب لأول مرة منذ خمس سنوات. كما انها تتواجد مع الجمهور بشكل يومي من خلال غنائها لتتر مسلسل "حكايات وبنعيشها" بطولة ليلي علوي التي تحبها جنات كثيرا. وبعيدا عن هذا الكليب رفضت جنات المشاركة في الخيام الرمضانية هذا العام لانها ستقضي كل رمضان مع اسرتها في المغرب. يذكر أن جنات قبل سفرها قامت بتسجيل ثلاثة برامج تليفزيونية هي "البطل" و"الشقة لمين ياحسين" و"دويتو" وتقاضت عن الحلقة الواحدة 50 ألف جنيه.

أكد المخرج احمد البدري ان فيلم عمر وسلمي حقق مبلغ 25 مليون جنيه حتي الآن ومازال يعرض في أكثر من دور عرض سينمائي اضاف: اتوقع ان يضرب الفيلم الرقم القياسي في ايرادات هذا الموسم علي الرغم من عرضه وسط كم كبير من افلام النجوم. قال: الموسم السينمائي هذا العام سيكون مفاجأة ويحقق ايرادات اعلي من العام السابق رغم كل ما تواجهه السينما من صعوبات متعددة ومختلفة بداية من الأزمة المالية ومرض انفلونزا الخنازير مرورا بقصر موسم الصيف الذي لا يتجاوز الشهرين ونصف الشهر. اضاف: العمل الجيد يفرض نفسه علي الجميع ويقبل عليه الجمهور ويطرد العمل الرديء ولا اعتقد ان يكون هناك فيلم يحقق معدلات وايرادات كبيرة من الممكن ان يكون فاشلا. وحول ما تردد ان فيلم عمر وسلمي نجح بسبب شعبية تامر حسني فقط قال البدري: "تامر" له شعبية كبيرة لكن ليس من المعقول ان شعبية اي فنان هي وسيلة نجاحه في أي عمل سواء أكان سينمائيا أو دراميا. أضاف: هناك بعض الأفلام التي يتم إنتاجها اثناء فصل الصيف وتأجلت عروضها لحين الانتهاء من شهر رمضان الذي جاء مبكرا ليؤخر موعد عروضها من الصيف الي أول ايام عيد الفطر المبارك عقب انتهاء موسم الدراما الذي امتلأ بالمسلسلات الدرامية المختلفة وسحب البساط من تحت أقدم دور العرض السينمائي. اشار الي انه في الاصل مخرج تليفزيوني قبل أن يكون سينمائيا وعلي دراية بكثير من الاعمال الدرامية التي أصبح لا يميزها احد من كثرة تشابهها وتكرار نجومها واختلاط مواعيدها التي لا تعطي فرصة للمشاهد كي يتابع هذا الكم الرهيب من الاعمال. اما ما نشاهده الآن في عروض المسلسلات اسلوب غير منطقي لا يوجد فيه نوع من التنسيق الذي من المفترض ان يكون موجودا في ظل انتشار القنوات الفضائية. اضاف: هذا الأمر ادي الي تجاهل عدد كبير من المسلسلات الجيدة التي لم يشاهدها الجمهور او تحظي بأوقات مشاهدة غير جيدة وضرب مثالا بالمسلسل الديني "صدق وعده" الذي يعرض علي شاشة التليفزيون وهناك بعض المسلسلات التي علقت في أذهان المشاهدين وتنوعت في ادوارها مثل "حرب الجواسيس" و"الباطنية" وذلك حسب ما سمعت من كثير من أصدقائي لانني غير متابع لهذه المسلسلات علي الأطلاق. أضاف: هناك كثير من النجوم الذين شاركوا في أكثر من مسلسل وكان من الممكن ان يؤثر كل منهم علي الآخر لكن الاخر مختلف تمامًا بالنسبة للفنان نور الشريف لانه من أدق الممثلين في أعمالهم ولا اعتقد انه من الممكن ان يظلم مسلسل علي حساب الآخر.

شهد الحفل الختامي لفعاليات ليالي المحروسة التي تقدمها الهيئة العامة لقصور الثقافة بمسرح محكي القلعة المكشوف إقبالاً جماهيرياً كبيراً تقدمهم كل من عائشة عبدالهادي وزيرة القوي العاملة والدكتور أحمد مجاهد رئيس الهيئة العامة لقصور الثقافة والدكتور عبدالمحسن عبدالوهاب رئيس الإدارة المركزية للشئون الفنية بالهيئة والمطرب أحمد إبراهيم والمخرج المسرحي عصام السيد الذين حضروا الحفل قبل لحظات من غناء المطرب محمد ثروت. بدأ الحفل في العاشرة وامتد حتي الواحدة بعد منتصف الليل وشمل فقرتين الأولي لمدة ساعة للمطربة الجزائرية شيراز التي ارتدت بدلة حمراء من الحارير عارية الصدر. وشدت بأغنياتها علي مدي مسيرتها الفنية مثل سهرانة وأكذب عليك ولو قلت بحبك لسه وأغاني أخري لمطربين عرب من بينها أنا قلبي ليك ميال للمطربة فايزة أحمد وأنساك ده كلام لأم كلثوم وعيشة للمطرب الجزائري شاب خالد والأسمراني للعندليب. الفقرة الثانية ومدتها ساعتان أحياها المطرب محمد ثروت وفاجأ الحاضرين بأغاني متميزة استطاع من خلالها التفوق علي نفسه. تنوعت بين اللون العاطفي والوطني والديني وأغان للأطفال وصلت في مجملها إلي 16 أغنية بداية بالأغاني العاطفية مثل جواب لحبيبي وصفر قطر المحطة بناء علي رغبة الحاضرين والأغاني الوطنية من بينها مصر أول نور في الدنيا شق ظلام الليل وأحلف بسماها للمطرب الراحل عبدالحليم حافظ وأغاني دينيه منها أغنية يا سيدي يا رسول الله. والنبي صلوا عليه. وروضة الهادي نبينا. ويا رسول الله أغثنا. وأغنية للأطفال بعنوان جدو علي.

ميس حمدان بطلة "المصراوية": لست خائفة من المقارنة مع غادة عادل مصر "هوليوود الشرق" ولا أتعجل الشهرة والنجاح مشهد انهيار "نوراي" في ختام المسلسل.. استفزني

اعربت الفنانة الأردنية ميس حمدان عن سعادتها البالغة برد فعل الجمهور علي دورها في مسلسل "المصراوية" الجزء الثاني وقالت: بالرغم من أنني في رمضان أكاد أكون لا أغادر منزلي علي الإطلاق إلا أنني لمست رد الفعل هذا من خلال المكالمات الهاتفية التي تلقيتها من أصدقائي وأقاربي والصحفيين. أشارت الي أنها لم تتلق أي تهنئة من زملائها بالوسط الفني وذلك لأنه لا توجد علاقة صداقة تجمعها بأي منهم. كما أشارت الي ان الكاتب الكبير أسامة أنور عكاشة لم يعقد معها أي جلسات عمل قبل التصوير كما هو معروف عنه وقالت: الوقت لم يكن متسعاً لعقد مثل هذه الجلسات. كما ان دوري لم يكن معقداً لهذه الدرجة فاللهجة التي تتحدث بها الشخصية لهجة عادية ولا تحتاج الي تدريب. أضافت: هذا الأمر ضاعف من إحساسي بالمسئولية تجاه أول تجربة درامية أخوضها فاعتمدت علي نفسي وبذلت كثير من الجهد حتي أحفظ الدور وأذاكره بمفردي. هوليوود الشرق وعما إذا كانت ستحرص علي أن تكون ضيفة دائمة علي دراما رمضان تقول: لا أحد يستطيع إنكار ان الدراما المصرية مازالت رقم واحد في الوطن العربي ولكنني لم أقرر بعد ما إذا كنت سأركز علي الدراما في الفترة القادمة أم سأتجه أكثر الي السينما ولكنني اعتقد ان الاحتمال الأخير هو الأقرب لقلبي. أضافت: بالرغم من أنني أعشق التمثيل وتركت أسرتي بالأردن وجئت للإقامة بمصر لأنها هوليوود الشرق في الدراما والسينما معاً إلا أنني لا أتعجل الشهرة والنجاح بدليل أنني في الفترة الأخيرة رفضت المشاركة في أكثر من فيلم سينمائي بسبب ضعف مستواها وأتمني ان يعرض عليّ فيلم جيد بعد انقضاء الشهر الكريم. وعما إذا كانت شاهدت الجزء الأول من "المصراوية" تقول: لم أشاهده وأعلم ان الناس ستعقد مقارنة بيني وبين غادة عادل. وبالرغم من حبي واحترامي لها كفنانة كبيرة إلا أنني لست خائفة من هذه المقارنة فالجمهور من حقه ان يقارن وان يحكم. وعن الكواليس التي جمعت بينها وبين الفنان ممدوح عبدالعليم تقول: كنت أعلم انه ملتزم جدا في مواعيده فقررت ان أكون أكثر التزاماً. فكنت أول من يصل الي البلاتوه حتي قبل العمال جميعاً. كما أنني لمست كم هو شخص مهذب ومحترم فلقد كان يرفض ان يواجهني بأي نصيحة حتي لا يضايقني فذهبت له وطلبت منه ان ينصحني ويوجه آدائي فبدأ يوجهني الي ما يعرف ب"اللغة الجسدية" اي إيحاءات الوجه التي لابد ان يلحظها المشاهد قبل ان انطق بجمل الحوار. وعن أصعب مشهد قامت بتصويره تقول: مشهد النهاية في المسلسل لأن في هذا المشهد تتكالب الضغوط علي "نواري" فتصاب بانهيار عصبي وتظل تبكي بشكل هيستيري حتي ينزل التتر. أضافت: بعدما أديت هذا المشهد أول مرة غضب مني المخرج إسماعيل عبدالحافظ وقال لي "هو ده عياط". لكنني بعدما قمت بإعادته فوجئت بأن كل العاملين بالبلاتوه صفقوا لي واندفع المخرج نحوي وحضنني قائلاً: أردت ان استفزك حتي يخرج المشهد بهذا الإحساس. أخيراً اشارت ميس الي انها وأختها الفنانة مي سليم لا يرتبطان يومياً بأي زيارات أو عمل وقت عرض المسلسل في السابعة مساء ويجلسان سوياً لمتابعته.

حنان ترك سعيدة لنجاح "هانم بنت باشا"

النجمة حنان ترك سعيدة بالنجاح الذي حققه مسلسلها الأخير"هانم بنت باشا" في شهر رمضان الكريم. لذلك وافقت حنان علي فكرة أن يكون هناك جزءثان من المسلسل. وحالياً يعكف مؤلف العمل علي كتابة أحداث الجزء الجديد. ومن المقرر أن يتم البدء في تصوير أحداث الجزء الجديد في شهر رمضان حتي يتم الانتهاء منه مبكراً مما يتيح فرصة لعرضه في شهر رمضان القادم. "هانم بنت باشا" بطولة حنان ترك وعمرو يوسف وريم هلال تأليف ياسر عبدالرحمن وإخراج سعيد حامد.

Prince Harry's ex joined a gaggle of socialities, models and rock-star offspring at Bungalow 8 last night.

But while Peaches Geldof went for Gothic grunge, 23-year-old Chelsy looked a picture of respectability in a co-ordinating outfit.

Her fashionable but bland navy strapless dress, sensible suede courts and neat blazer were suitable for a future sister-in-law of the King.

But Zimbabwean-born Chelsy and Army officer Harry ended their relationship eight months ago - she was said to resent the commitment of the prince's career, and the pressures of being in the royal spotlight.

However, earlier this month close friends of the two revealed they have been 'flirting madly' with each other.

It is said the pair have been exchanging intimate messages on the social networking site Facebook and have met in secret to discuss their future.

The supermodel stormed out of the GQ Awards in true diva style after host James Nesbitt cheekily implied to the audience he'd had intimate relations with her.

Minutes later she was seem flouncing out of the backstage interview room and barging past Lily Allen, uttering: 'He’s so****ing rude,' before adding that she would ‘never come to one of these ****ing award ceremonies again'.

When she joined Lily in the winner's room to celebrate the singer picking up the Woman of the Year trophy, she looked like she would rather be elsewhere.

Clearly having sat though 20 winners collecting their awards and making their acceptance speeches had proved rather tiresome for the mother-of-one.

Earlier she admitted 'being terrible at these things' before presenting Lily with her award on stage.

As Lily smiled for photographers clutching her trophy, Kate leaned on the backdrop and let her head roll back.

Lily's composed display came in stark contrast to last year's GQ Awards when the star had a drunken on-stage row with Elton John as the pair hosted the ceremony.

She told him to 'f*** off' after he commented that she had been drinking a lot, before he quipped back that he could 'snort' her 'under the table'.

Last night was a different affair, however, and Lily, dressed in a black sheer dress, left the bad behaviour to Kate.

Later on at the awards ceremony, Kate mingled with Hollywood hellraiser Mickey Rourke, who attended with his new girlfriend Elena.

University of Bristol exports caleed for stronger checks on safety limits after studying blood levels in 488 youngsters.

They found significant associations with bad behaviour and poor reading, writing and spelling.

Professor Alan Edmond said: Lead remains a hazard for health. Childern are at more risk because it is easily absorbed by their growing bodies.

وقالت صحيفة "فرايتي" الأميركية على موقعها على الانترنت إنه لم يتّضح بعد سبب رفض ثيرون للدور، وقال مخرج الفيلم توماس ألفردسون إنه يرفض حصول أي تأخير على بدء تصوير الفيلم رغم التغيير في فريق العمل.

وقال ألفردسون للصحيفة "نجري محادثات منذ عام ونحن نقترب من الإنتاج"، من دون الإشارة إلى الممثلة التي ستحل مكان ثيرون في الدور.

وكانت كيدمان وافقت على أداء دور الفنان الدنماركي إينار ويغينر الذي كان أول شخص في العالم يجري عملية تحول جنسي في العام 1930.

ويروي الفيلم قصة ويغينر، منذ أقنعته زوجته غيرد، بأن يتحول إلى إمرأة، عبر إجراء عملية جراحية في العام 1930.

والفيلم مستوحى من رواية المؤلف ديفيد إيبرشوف التي تقدم نسخة روائية عن حياة الزوجين.

وستحوّل الرواية إلى فيلم الكاتبة لوشيندا كوكسون وسيخرجه ألفردسون.

The party was a rare night out. Raised in a devout, Christian family in Reading, Berks, I was more used to going to choir practice than clubs with friends.

But I had just landed a job with a telemarketing company and, when the new director announced he was taking us all out for a drink, I didn't want to seem unfriendly, so I agreed to go along.

I arrived quite late and a guy called Rob*, who I recognised from another group of friends, came over to chat. I was drinking lemonade - I'd wanted to remain clear-headed with my work colleagues - but when he handed me a glass of wine I accepted.

I was only 19 and desperate not to appear rude. Still, I took only a couple of sips and then, when he wasn't looking, left the glass on the bar. The next few minutes are a blur.

I vaguely remember feeling woozy and falling to the floor, and I recall a friend helping me outside and then going to find us a taxi. Then I have a hazy memory of Rob pushing me against a wall. But that's all I can recall.

I know I wasn't drunk, but I have no memory of how I got home or what happened after 11pm.

The next thing I remember is waking up the next morning at my friend Laurel's house.

'What happened last night?' he asked. 'I got a call from a taxi driver, who said you'd been left by the road with no money.'

Thankfully, the taxi driver had seen the state I was in and gone through my phone, dialling the most recently called numbers to try to find someone who would help me.

Laurel had answered, directed the taxi to his house and paid the driver. He told me I'd been crying and unintelligible when I arrived, so he'd assumed I was drunk. He put me to bed on the sofa to sleep it off.

My mind was in a turmoil. I couldn't tell Laurel what had happened because I didn't know myself and that was terrifying.

My head was pounding as if I had a hangover and I kept getting flashbacks of being on the ground outside the club and someone being on top of me.

But I didn't have any bruises or ripped clothes and, apart from feeling sick, there was nothing physically wrong with me.

The thought that something sexual might have happened did flash through my mind, but I quickly dismissed it. I felt sure that I'd have known if I'd had sex.

Not being able to remember what had happened was the worst part of the ordeal - it was like a black hole in my brain.

I've drunk alcohol in the past and knew it could make you forget, but this was a complete blackout. As I hadn't been drinking, I just could not work it out.

I thought about going to the police, but what would I say? They'd think I was an idiot - after all, I had no idea what had happened. As the feelings of nausea and tiredness wore off over the weekend, I decided to put the whole thing out of my mind.

But at work on Monday, I overheard someone gossiping that I'd slept with Rob at the party.

Apparently, his girlfriend had seen him pushing me against the wall outside as she stormed off in a taxi.

Angry and confused, I emailed him and demanded to know what had happened. He admitted he'd tried to kiss me, but reassured me that I'd rejected his advances and nothing had happened.

I wasn't sure if I trusted him, but I had nothing else to go on. Wanting to forget about the whole night, I tried to get on with my life.

I was relieved when, a few weeks later, I was made redundant. It would be a chance to start again.

A few weeks later, I started dating my friend Laurel and life seemed really good. So good, in fact, that I ignored the fact I was feeling dizzy and tired all the time.

But then one day I fainted in the supermarket. Coming round on the floor, surrounded by people, I had no idea what was wrong. Frightened, I went straight to my doctor.

He asked if there was any possibility that I could be pregnant, but Laurel and I hadn't slept together, so I said 'No'.

He took some blood to send off for tests. On the way home, I visited a friend, who was six months pregnant. Describing my symptoms to her, she said it sounded as if I could be pregnant and insisted I take a test.

Wanting to prove her wrong, I did a test straight away in her bathroom. It's hard to describe the shock I felt when I saw it was positive.

I sat staring at the blue line for ages, shaking my head and saying: 'No, no, this can't be true.'

Finally, I managed to get myself together and went straight to a local family planning clinic.

They confirmed I was 16 weeks pregnant, telling me that the baby had been conceived in April. Something clicked. Rob's face appeared in my mind and I instinctively knew he'd raped me.

It sounds like a cliche, but my body went numb. It was as if I was floating - looking at my life from outside and wondering what was going on. I told Laurel later that night.

I knew he wouldn't be angry with me because he's such a lovely guy, but he was furious with Rob.

He remembered the night it had happened and how out of control I'd been. He encouraged me to go to the police.

I was furious, too, so I agreed, but first I wanted to confront Rob. I called him and told him about the baby. He went quiet.

Then he said: 'Look, I apologise for what I did to you that night - but I didn't think it would come to this.'

He was at work, so couldn't talk much, but I was shaking with fury. He said he'd call me back later, but didn't. When I called him again, he'd changed his tone.

'What's this got to do with me? How do I know this baby is even mine?' he asked. 'You've got to get rid of it.'

Until then, I'd been too scared to tell my parents. I knew they'd be disappointed about me having a baby outside marriage. But, distraught at Rob's reaction, I went straight to their house and told them everything.

They were incredibly upset, but after the initial shock, they were supportive.

Dad insisted I go to the police. At the station, the female officer took down my story and asked if I thought I'd been drugged. When she described the effects of date rape drugs, it fell into place.

I'd had only a sip of wine and was unable to remember anything. I was convinced that's what had happened, so they started an investigation. I was so angry and confused: how could this be happening to me?

I never thought I'd end up a young, unmarried mother, but here I was doing exactly that.

Coming from such a Christian family, I've never believed in abortion, but suddenly finding myself pregnant with a rapist's baby, I looked at it differently.

I just couldn't face the thought of the baby being born and looking like Rob - it would be a constant reminder of what had happened. I didn't have long to decide what to do - 24 weeks is the latest you can have an abortion.

Laurel was incredibly supportive and put no pressure on me to have a termination, but despite everyone's assurances I just couldn't stop feeling that I had an alien growing inside me.

After seeking counselling, I decided to go ahead with the termination. I thought: 'If I don't have this baby inside me, all my problems will be over and I can move on with my life.'

I arrived at the clinic a week later, still struggling with my decision because it went against everything I'd been brought up to believe in. I told myself that what had happened to me wasn't my fault.

As I walked down the corridor in a hospital gown to the operating theatre, I asked myself over and over: 'Am I doing the right thing?'

Suddenly, I was overcome by a rush of love for the child inside me. I didn't understand why, but in that moment what had felt like an alien suddenly felt like a child.

I realised I couldn't go through with the termination. I collapsed in tears and a nurse took me into a waiting room and said I should take a few minutes to make my final decision.

They told me there was a policeman waiting to take away the foetus for DNA analysis as part of the rape case, but I told them to send him away. I told the nurse: 'I can't do this.'

Then, smoothing my hand over my small bump, I said: 'It's you and me now, kid.'

The months that followed were tough. People who knew Rob came up to me in the street and accused me of inventing the rape.

A friend of his even threatened to kick the baby out of my stomach. I was too scared to go out and spent hours trying to piece together what had happened that night, desperately trying to convince myself I wasn't going mad.

In December 2001, the police told me they couldn't bring charges against Rob because he had claimed I'd consented to sex. It was my word against his.

I had hoped he would be convicted, so I would have some sort of closure and be able to move on.

Discovering that he was going to get away with what had happened was hard to take. There were weeks when I simply didn't stop crying.

By the eighth month of the pregnancy, I realised I was going to have to get to grips with what had happened or be destroyed by it. With Laurel and my family supporting me, I slowly started to feel philosophical about it.

My baby was due in a month - I had to focus on a new life. On January 4, 2002, Kayleigh* was born.

When they handed her to me, I was gripped by panic. I knew it had been my choice to have her, but suddenly I wished I'd chosen differently.

She looked so like Rob I didn't want anything to do with her. I looked after her well enough, but I won't pretend I was affectionate or loving.

I could barely bring myself to hold her. Friends started commenting that she was always in her crib.

Life fell into a routine - raising a baby fills your day - but looking back I can see I hadn't dealt properly with the rape and my baby was a constant reminder of it.

When she was three months old, Laurel and I broke up. In a gallant effort to protect me, he'd told people Kayleigh was his, but I couldn't cope with the strain.

It was as if I was ruining his life, too. With great regret, I ended the relationship - it seemed the only fair thing to do.

Moving out with Kayleigh was the making of us. Alone as mother and daughter, I slowly began to bond with her. After all, none of this was her fault. I wanted her to have a good life and so started working part-time for catering companies or in telesales to fit in with childcare.

But as the months passed, I felt I was worth more. Having Kayleigh made me realise I could do anything, that it was up to me to make what had happened a positive thing in my life.

So, a year after she was born, I applied to join the police force. I wanted a better life for Kayleigh, but I also wanted to reach out to anyone else who had been through what I had.

I was overjoyed to be accepted and completed my training in 2003. I felt invincible - that nothing could hold Kayleigh and me back.

I'm still bubbly and outgoing, but what happened has changed me. I'm single and cautious about meeting new people. I never accept drinks from strangers. When she's old enough, I will tell Kayleigh about how she was conceived.

I don't believe in keeping secrets and I want her to know that there are people out there who will lie to you and try to mistreat you.

But I'll also tell her about the moment I decided to keep her, and how I felt all this love for her, love that is even stronger now.

Watching her grow up, I feel lucky to have her in my life: I love her with all my heart. I also feel that by speaking out about what happened to me I will empower other women.

For a long time I felt as if it was my fault. But now I realise I'm not to blame. Other women who have been raped have come up to me to tell me about their experiences and are relieved that they can talk to someone who really understands what they have been through.

My life is proof that something good can come from something so terrible. And I don't regret my last minute change of heart one bit.

Socialite Nicole Richie gave birth to her second child in the early hours of Sunday morning.

But as you'd expect from someone who has spent most of her life in Hollywood, the reality TV star opted for an unusual name.

Nicole, 27, welcomed a 7lbs 14 oz baby boy named Sparrow James Midnight Madden.

In a statement from Nicole and her partner Joel Madden, the couple said: 'In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

'Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.'

Little Sparrow joins the couple's 20-month-old daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden - a second grandchild for Nicole's singer father Lionel Richie.

The happy news comes less than a week after Nicole attended a memorial service for her ex-fiancé Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein, who died of a suspected drug overdose in New York on August 28.

They announced they were expecting in February with Joel, 31, gushing on his band Good Charlotte website: 'What's better than winning an Oscar?

'I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister.

'God has truly blessed my family. Hope you're all feeling as good as I am right now.'

Joel and Nicole started dating in late 2006 after the rocker ended his two-year relationship with teen singer/actress Hilary Duff and Nicole split from DJ fiancé Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein.

Just weeks into their relationship, Nicole was arrested for driving under the influence on her way home from Joel's home in LA.

In July 2008, she was ordered to serve four days in jail, but only ended up spending 82 minutes behind bars due to overcrowding.

Since becoming a mother, Nicole insists her partying, wild child days are behind her and her daughter has given her a new sense of purpose.

Another week to live: Ohio delays execution after officials can't find inmate's usable vein in chilling botched attempt

A death row inmate has been given a week’s reprieve after executioners were unable to find a vein to administer a lethal injection.

Convicted killer Romell Broom even tried to help, by turning on his side and flexing his fingers to make his veins stand out, as the victim’s family looked on from behind a screen.

But after two hours, officials at Lucasville prison in Ohio gave up and took the condemned man, who began to sob at one point, back to his cell.

State governor Ted Strickland ordered a week’s reprieve for the 53-year-old former heroin addict.

He has been on death row since 1984 for the rape and murder of 14-year-old Tryna Middleton.

He abducted her in Cleveland in September 1984 as she walked home from a Friday night football game with two friends.

His sentence will now be carried out on Tuesday, although it may be further delayed if legal challenges are brought on the basis that Broom was subjected to cruel treatment.

Lucasville prison director Terry Collins said that before Broom's next scheduled execution, the team would try to determine how to resolve the problem encountered yesterday.

A medical evaluation on Monday had determined that veins in Broom's right arm appeared accessible.

About an hour into the execution effort, a lawyer for Broom, Tim Sweeney, sent an e-mail and fax to Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer asking him to end the procedure.

Sweeney said continuing the effort would deny Broom his constitutional rights against cruel and unusual punishment and violate Ohio law that requires lethal injection to be quick and painless.

Collins said the difficulty in the process 'absolutely, positively' does not shake his faith in the state's lethal injection procedure.

The problems prompted the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio to ask state officials to immediately halt executions.

'Ohio's execution system is fundamentally flawed. If the state is going to take a person's life, they must ensure that it is done as humanely as possible,' ACLU Ohio counsel Carrie Davis said.

'With three botched executions in as many years, it's clear that the state must stop and review the system entirely before another person is put to death.'

Richard Dieter, director of the non-profit Death Penalty Information Center, said he expects legal challenges will mean Broom will not face execution again in a week's time.

'I think this is going to be challenged, whether under our standards of decency subjecting someone to multiple executions is cruel and unusual... whether this is in effect experimenting on human beings, whether or not they're sure what works in Ohio,' he said.

Florida has also experienced problems with lethal injection.

 

A history of botched executions

Such a stay of execution is believed to have happened just once before in the United States.

A first attempt to execute Willie Francis in 1946 by electrocution in Louisiana did not work. 

Reports claimed that Willie, a 17-year-old boy convicted of murder, could be heard screaming from behind the leather hood, 'Take it off! Take it off! Let me breathe!' as the lethal surge of electricity was being applied. Another report states that he called out, 'I'm n-not dying!'

It later emerged that the electric chair, known as Gruesome Gertie, had been improperly set up by a drunk prison guard.

The sheriff, E.L. Resweber, was later quoted as saying: 'This boy really got a shock when they turned that machine on.'

He was returned to death row for nearly a year while the U.S. Supreme Court considered whether a second electrocution would be unconstitutional. He was finally executed in May of 1947.

A documentary made chronicling Willie's death, entitled Willie Francis Must Die Again, is due to go into production as a feature film this year.

Botched executions have featured regularly throughout English history, particularly during the gory days when the Tower of London was used for capital punishment.

Perhaps the most badly botched was that of James, Duke of Monmouth, in 1685.

Monmouth, the illegitimate son of Charles II, had led an unsuccessful rebellion against his uncle, King James II. His executioner was the hangman, Jack Ketch, a notorious bungler with an axe.

On climbing the scaffold, Monmouth picked up the axe and ran his fingers along the blade, asking Ketch if he thought it was sharp enough for the job. He handed Ketch six guineas, promising him six more if he did a clean job: 'Pray do not serve me as you did my Lord Russell. I have heard you struck him four or five times; If you strike me twice, I cannot promise you not to stir.'

Ketch had an attack of nerves and his first blow only grazed the back of the duke's head. Monmouth, who had refused the blindfold - and who must have had nerves of steel - turned his head around and gazed directly at Ketch, further unnerving him.

When two more blows failed to sever the head, a distraught Ketch threw the axe down and offered 40 guineas to anyone in the crowd who could do better.

At this the Sheriff of Middlesex, who was in charge of the execution, threatened to have him killed if he did not finish his job. When two more blows failed, the now-terrified Ketch had to use his knife, butchering the Duke like a pig.

In 1541, it was the turn of the 71-year-old Margaret, Countess of Salisbury, whose offence was being the last surviving member of the Plantagenet dynasty, overthrown by the Tudors.

The Countess refused to place her head on the block, and had to be chased around the green by the executioner, who hacked her to death.

In 1725 the pirate John Gow was hanged in London. Unfortunately his well-meaning friends, wanting him to be out of pain, pulled down on his legs so forcibly that the rope broke while he was still alive, and officials were forced to hang him again.

The British Royal Commission on Capital Punishment (1948-1953) examined lethal injection but decided against it, partly due to pressure from the BMA, who were concerned about the ethics of doctors participating in executions.

Capital punishment was abolished in the UK in 1965 for all crimes save treason and piracy. In 1998 it was abolished altogether.

Court sets execution date for Washington, DC sniper mastermind

A Virginia judge has ruled that the mastermind behind the 2002 sniper attacks in Washington, DC that left 10 people dead will be executed on November 10.

John Allen Muhammad is expected to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court and ask Governor Timothy M. Kaine for clemency.

Malvo, who was born in Jamaica, is serving life in prison for the shooting spree.

Last month a federal appeals court rejected Muhammad's argument that prosecutors withheld critical evidence and that Muhammad never should have been allowed to act as his own attorney for a portion of his trial because he was too mentally impaired.

After a string of cosy dates with a young model, it looked as if actor Mickey Rourke's wild days were behind him.

But such thoughts were clearly premature as the Oscar-nominated actor was back on London's party scene last night with yet another young woman, whom he later he escorted back to his hotel.

It didn't stop the 55-year-old from displaying his typically outrageous behaviour - at one point eating a flower and spitting it out at photographers.

The 55-year-old lothario, who has been on several dates recently with a 24-year-old model called Elena, began the night in a pretty low key fashion.

He and a group of friends had dinner at upmarket American-style steak restaurant Automat, just across the road from Mahiki, the posh Mayfair haunt from which he stumbled out just a couple of nights ago with Elena.

But as the evening wore on, Mickey and friends moved on to the Jalouse club, where they stayed till well past 3am.

After partying in the club, the actor emerged, clearly in high spirits.

As well as the friends he arrived with, he now had a voluptuous young woman in tow who seemed eager to shield her identity with a purple straw trilby hat.

Mickey bought a flower from a homeless street vendor, but instead of offering it to the girl, he began eating it.

Rourke, who was nominated for an Oscar this year for his performance in The Wrestler and was this week declared GQ magazine's International Man of the Year, made a real meal of the flower.

After chomping on it for a few seconds, to the delight of his friends and confusion of onlookers, he spat the petals everywhere.

But none of this was enough to discourage his new female friend, who hopped into his chauffeur-driven car and accompanied Rourke back to his hotel.

How long he can keep this up for is anyone's guess. But for now, Mickey Rourke is still living the dream.

Miranda, who is the ninth top paid model in the world after earning a reported $3million last year, is in the Big Apple ahead of New York Fashion Week, which kicks off today.

As she prepares to strut down the runway for various designers, Miranda recently admitted that catwalk work isn't as easy as it looks.

Miranda recently denied persistent rumours the couple are engaged, insisting she's too busy to think about marriage.

She said: 'It’s not true. It’s great there’s all that interest on our relationship but we’re not engaged.

'We’re very happy. He’s a great guy. It’s definitely something, one day down the track, I want. But for now, I’m happy. I’m just too busy with work that I can’t be thinking of that right now.'

Being romantically involved with Orlando has led Miranda to consider an acting career.

She said: 'If there was a good role that I found interesting I would definitely try acting. I wouldn’t want to be in one of those clichéd roles, but I would do something that would be a little more interesting.'

Pamela Anderson cut a still enviable figure in a tiny yellow bikini as she and her boyfriend surfer Jamie Padgett enjoyed a day on the beach.

And in the most unforgiving of bikinis she looked much younger than her 42-years...when seen from behind that is.

But the same could not be said when she revealed her tired, lined face and it seems that she only has herself to blame.

The 42-year-old revealed that she has no skincare routine - and amazingly never wears sunscreen, despite living in the Malibu sunshine.

The star and her live-in lover Jamie Padgett, headed to California's Malibu Beach, along with many others, for the American Labor Day public holiday.

Padgett, is a surfer and electrician who is said to have first charmed the star this January by offering her a lift to the beach in his golf buggy.

Pamela went for maximum exposure in a Brazilian style bikini which barely covered her bottom.

But when she turned around, it's clear that her failure to use any kind of sun protection is having an ageing effect on her once youthful skin.

When viewed from behind, Pammy could easily pass for a much younger woman, but the fair-skinned actress showed signs of sun damage on her ageing face.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine she said: 'What does it take to look like me? Not much' and she admitted: ' I don't wear sunscreen. I don't have a skincare programme.'

Nor does she have that other celebrity requirement, a dermatologist, according to the interview.

And she claimed that she was not planning any 'tweaks' either. She said: 'I have no dermatologist and no cosmetic surgeon. Nothing's been shot into this face.

هل الإصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير تعطي مناعة فلا تتكرر للشخص الواحد؟.. سؤال يدور في الأذهان وتباينت إجابة أطباء الحميات والأمراض الصدرية عنه.. بين من يؤكد تكون أجسام مضادة تمنع تكرار الإصابة ومن يؤكد أيضاً إمكانية الإصابة عدة مرات مثل الأنفلونزا الموسمية.. وفريق ثالث وصف الفيروس بالغموض وبأن الدراسات عنه لاتزال غير كافية للإجابة علي هذه الأسئلة.. وإن اتفق الجميع علي ضرورة إعلاء قيمة الوقاية بالالتزام بتهوية الأماكن والبعد عن الزحام وتناول الخضراوات والفاكهة بكثرة.. مؤكدين أن الأمل في وصول التطعيمات والأمصال التي ستعطي وقاية لمدة عام كامل بشرط عدم تحور الفيروس وإلا فقد المصل فاعليته. يقول د.أشرف حاتم المشرف العام علي المستشفيات الجامعية ومستشار وزير الصحة للأمراض الصدرية: إن المصاب بأنفلونزا الخنازير يكتسب مناعة كاملة ضد المرض وضد تفشي الفيروس فقط لكن لو تحور الفيروس تكون المناعة جزئية فتأتي الأعراض أخف حدة ولا تصل المضاعفات إلي الالتهاب الرئوي. وعن التطعيم بالمصل الوقائي المنتظر وصوله لمصر في شهر أكتوبر أكد د.أشرف أنه يعطي وقاية لمدة عام كامل لنفس الفيروس لكن لو تحور الفيروس يفقد المصل فاعليته مؤكداً أن الوزارة تعاقدت بالفعل لشراء 5 ملايين جرعة تصل منها مائتا جرعة أوائل أكتوبر لتطعيم الحجاج قبل سفرهم بوقت مناسب. الدكتور طه عبدالحميد أستاذ الأمراض الصدرية ورئيس قسم الرعاية المركزة بوحدة الأمراض الصدرية بطب الأزهر: يؤكد أن من يصاب بأنفلونزا الخنازير يمكن أن تتكرر إصابته مثلما يحدث في الأنفلونزا الموسمية التي يمكن أن تحدث للشخص الواحد مرتين أو ثلاث مرات خلال الشتاء.. موضحاً أن الخطورة في أن نسبة الشفاء ضعيفة.. لذلك فأنا مع الرأي الذي ينادي بتأجيل الدراسة في المدارس والجامعات وفي مدارس تحفيظ القرآن الملحقة بالمساجد والتي يتكدس فيها المواطنون.. وأيضاً في ضرورة منع الشيشة ومنع التواجد في المقاهي والنوادي وكل أماكن التجمعات ومنع الاستقبال والتوديع في المطارات.. فمع الخريف والشتاء من المتوقع أن يكون الوضع خطيراً ويجب التعامل مع الأمور بالجدية اللازمة وأن يتم استخدام الكمامات أثناء التحرك وفي وسائل المواصلات. ناقوس الخطر الدكتور فتحي شبانة مدير مستشفي حميات إمبابة: يري أن الدراسات ليست كافية حتي الآن لتحديد هل يعطي الفيروس مناعة من عدمه؟ فالفيروس ظهر في مايو الماضي فقط ويحتاج وقتاً للتقييم.. ومع ذلك فهو بحكم خبرته في التعامل مع الحميات المختلفة يتوقع إمكانية الإصابة بهذا المرض الخطير أكثر من مرة لأن الفيروس المسبب له ينتمي لنفس مجموعة الأنفلونزا الموسمية متكررة الإصابة للشخص الواحد. يوضح أن هذه الظروف تدق من جديد ناقوس الخطر بضرورة التأكيد علي الوقاية ومنع الإصابة وذلك بالإجراءات المعروفة بالبعد عن التجمعات والالتزام بالتهوية وتناول الخضراوات الطازجة والفاكهة بكثرة ومنع التدخين لزيادة مناعة الجسم. يضيف أن الآمال تنعقد حالياً علي وصول المصل الواقي والذي سيعطي مناعة عاماً كاملاً بشرط عدم تحور الفيروس.. وإن كان التحور متوقعاً كما يقول الدكتور شبانة وهي اللعبة التي تلعبها هذه الفيروسات مع البشرية بشراسة منذ عام 1918!! في انتظار الأبحاث الدكتور سيد علي حسن استشاري الحميات بمستشفي حميات إمبابة: وصف الفيروس بالغموض.. فلا أحد يعرف عنه كثيراً حتي الآن.. فهل يؤدي لتكوين أجسام مضادة لدي المصابين به؟ أم أنه قابل لتكرار الإصابة مثل الأنفلونزا الموسمية؟.. هذا ما يجب أن تصل إليه الأبحاث. وعن رأيه كاستشاري للحميات قال إن فيروسات الأنفلونزا قابلة لتكرار الإصابة ولا تعطي مناعة بل إن من يتعرض لها أكثر من مرة يتعرض لخطر أكبر نتيجة إجهاد جهاز المناعة.. ويري أن التطعيم ضد الأنفلونزا العادية الموجودة حالياً هام جداً فهو من ناحية يمنع الإصابة بها ولا يجعل الإنسان حائراً في التشخيص بينها وبين أنفلونزا الخنازير في حالة ظهور الأعراض في بدايتها وبالتالي يكون التدخل بالعلاج سريعاً وفعالاً.

مشكلة القمامة أزمة لا تنتهي.. فأكوام القمامة ومخلفات المباني تحاصر جميع الشوارع الجانبية والرئيسية معاً ولم تنج منها أيضاً المصالح الحكومية لدرجة أن القمامة تحيط بمبني محافظة القاهرة نفسها تحت سمع وبصر المسئولين.. ورغم كل التحذيرات التي وجهت للحكومة من أجل القضاء علي هذه المشكلة وبسرعة والتي أصبحت ظاهرة خطيرة تهدد حياة المواطنين مع انتشار مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير فإن أكوام القمامة مازالت تتحدي!! أجمع المواطنون أنه بمجرد ظهور مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير. في شهر مايو الماضي فوجئنا باختفاء جامعي القمامة التابعين للأحياء ولم نجد من يرفع القمامة من المنازل ومع ذلك مازال تحصيل قيمة رفع القمامة مستمراً علي فاتورة الكهرباء. رصدت "المساء" ظاهرة انتشار القمامة بالصور بجميع الشوارع بعد أن أصبحت مشكلة تؤرق المواطنين بسبب الآثار السلبية التي تؤثر علي الصحة العامة. البداية كانت بشارع رمسيس أكبر شوارع العاصمة وجدنا أكوام القمامة تحاصر محطة مصر من كل اتجاه حتي مسجد الفتح وأمام المصلين أما في شارع عرابي فقد فوجئنا بالقمامة ملقاه في عرض الشارع وتسد الطريق مما يعوق حركة مرور السيارات المتجهة لشارع 26 يوليو والأكثر غرابة أننا وجدنا أطناناً من القمامة تحيط بمبني القضاء العالي من كل اتجاه ولم نشاهد عامل نظافة واحد وفوجئنا بمعظمهم يتجولون بين السيارات وفي أيديهم عدة الشغل "المقشة" والعربة الصغيرة ويقومون باستجداء المارة وسائقي السيارات لينافسوا بذلك المتسولين في هذا الشهر الكريم. أما مبني محافظة القاهرة فالقمامة تحاصره من كل اتجاه ونفس الحال خلف مبني مديرية أمن القاهرة بباب الخلق فالمشهد هناك لا يسر عدواً ولا حبيباً فالقمامة تعلو شبابيك الدور الأرضي بالمنازل هناك حتي وصلت للبلكونات بالدور الثاني. ضيف ثقيل يقول سيد قدري وماهر يوسف أعمال حرة: لقد أصبحت القمامة ضيفاً ثقيلاً علينا كل يوم نشاهدها أمام المنازل والمحلات وعلي جانبي الطرق فأين المسئولون من انتشار أكوام القمامة في كل مكان خاصة أنها تبعث إلينا الروائح الكريهة والحشرات الضارة التي تحمل الأوبئة والأمراض المعدية. يؤكد سعيد عبداللطيف ومصطفي إبراهيم حسن موظفان: أنه بعد أن كانت أكوام القمامة تحاصر المدارس أصبحت تحاصر المنازل أيضاً رغم أننا ندفع شهرياً قيمة حق رفع القمامة للحكومة إلا أننا نعاني أشد المعاناة من تراكمها داخل الشقق لعدة أيام حتي نضطر لإلقائها بالشوارع وعلي الأرصفة كما أنها تسبب لنا الأمراض من الروائح الكريهة والعفونة التي تحدث بسبب شدة الحر. أما محمد محمود عبدالعال ومحمد إمام محمد موظفان: رغم كثرة الشكاوي التي تقدمنا بها للمسئولين بالأحياء من أجل حضور عمال النظافة لكي يرفعوا القمامة من المنازل لكن لا حياة لمن تنادي. يؤكد سامح رمسيس أعمال حرة وعلي محمد سلامة بالمعاش وأبوالفضل سيد حمزة موظف: أن المشكلة أصبحت في المدارس التي تعاني أسوارها من ارتفاع القمامة حولها مع اقتراب العام الدراسي وانتشار مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير فكان لابد من اهتمام المسئولين بالأحياء وهيئة النظافة حتي تتم محاصرة هذا المرض لأن انتشار القمامة بهذا الشكل المفزع سوف يساعد علي انتشار هذا المرض الخطير. وفي شارع الخليج المصري الذي يربط عدة مناطق بالوايلي وحدائق القبة والزاوية فوجئنا ببعض السيدات تهرولن علينا وتعالت أصواتهن لكي يعبرن لنا عن معاناتهن مع تراكم القمامة بالمنازل وبالشوارع. تقول نظيمة مصطفي وسعاد عبدالعزيز ربات بيوت: إن مشكلة القمامة تؤرقنا فلم يعد أمامنا غير أن نلقيها بالشوارع وفي نهر الطريق بعد أن تعبنا من عدم وجود زبال لذلك نطالب بأعلي صوتنا بعودة الزبال التقليدي وسوف ندفع له ما يريد وعلي الحكومة أن ترفع يدها عن هذه المشكلة حتي يمكن حلها. تؤكد جيهان جلال موظفة وأحمد محمود برعي بالمعاش: أن الزبالين التقليديين كانوا أفضل كثيراً وكان كل شيء علي ما يرام لكن الحكومة لم تتركهم في حالهم وفضلت أن تشاركهم في الغنيمة بل وأخذتها وحدها ولكن للأسف لم تستطع الأحياء وبجميع الأجهزة والمعدات وبالشركات الأجنبية التي أحضرتها من أجل نظافة القاهرة أن تقوم محل الزبال التقليدي لذلك نقول للحكومة "إعطي العيش لخبازه". يطالب عماد السيد أعمال حرة ومحمد عبدالعزيز عثمان صاحب محل بقالة الحكومة بأن ترفع يدها عن مشكلة القمامة حتي تعود شوارع القاهرة نظيفة كما كانت من قبل. طارق علي محمد سائق ومني علي ربة منزل: القمامة تحاصرنا في كل مكان والمسئولون بالأحياء يضعون أيديهم في الماء البارد حتي تستقبل أطنان القمامة المصلين في أول أيام عيد الفطر المبارك.

وكلاء الوزارة السابقون: الجمل رفض تأجيل الدراسة في البداية.. استجابة لضغوط المدارس الخاصة وزير التربية والتعليم.. يعتمد علي التقارير المكتبية حمامات المدارس غير آدمية.. وخزانات المياه لم تنظف منذ سنوات

أكد مصدر مسئول بوزارة التربية والتعليم ان د. يسري الجمل وزير التربية والتعليم وضع الوزارة في موقف حرج لانه رفض تأجيل الدراسة في البداية وأكد علي انها تبدأ في 26 سبتمبر تأكيده علي عدم التراجع مرة اخري وذلك استجابة لضغوط المدارس الخاصة متمثلة في جمعية اصحاب المدارس الخاصة التي رفضت التأجيل خوفا من ضياع مصاريف هذا العام. قال إن الوزير تراجع في الاجتماع العاجل لمجلس المحافظين الذي كشف خطورة الوضع مشيرا إلي ان الاجتماعات المغلقة التي تتم بمكتب الوزير كانت تؤكد ان التأجيل قادم قادم. اضاف ان د. رضا أبو سريع مساعد اول الوزير وضع الوزارة في موقف حرج ايضا حين اكد ان تأجيل الدراسة اسبوعا لن يسبب اي تأثيرات سلبية علي العملية التعليمية بل انه عدد ايجابيات التأجيل وقال انه سوف يسمح لمزيد من تنفيذ الترتيبات المتفق عليها بين وزارتي التربية والتعليم والصحة لحماية الطلاب من التعرض لمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير وهو مايؤكد ان الوزارة لم تكن مستعدة بالفعل. اوضح مدحت مسعد وكيل اول الوزارة بالقاهرة ان د. عبدالعظيم وزير محافظ القاهرة طلب الا تزيد كثافة الفصول علي 40 تلميذا علي ان يتم تقليل الكثافة اما بنقل هذه الكثافة الي المدارس التي بها فصول زائدة ولا تستغل واما بتعديل نظام الدراسة الي فترتين او الفترة الممتدة وجعل الفسحة لعدد من الفصول علي حدة. قال مصدر مسئول بهيئة الابنية التعليمية إن الوزارة تعتمد علي التقارير المكتبية التي تقول إن كل شيء تمام في حين ان الصورة في الواقع سيئة للغاية فدورات المياه غير آدمية وخزانات المياه لم يتم تنظيفها منذ سنوات مشيرا إلي أن دور لجان المتابعة غاب عن الوزارة. أشار محمد خليل وكيل وزارة التربية والتعليم السابق إلي أن الوزارة تضع مدير المدرسة كبش فداء في الوقت الذي تبدو فيه غير مستعدة لمواجهة المرض. تساءلت صفاء شلبي وكيل الوزارة السابقة: لماذا لا يقوم الوزير بجولة ليتفقد أحوال المدارس لمعرفة الصورة علي حقيقتها بلا رتوش؟

Madonna opened the MTV Video Music Awards 2009 in New York with a personal tribute to Michael Jackson, accusing herself and the world of 'abandoning him'.

 

 

The Queen of Pop described her early friendship with Jackson and said she regretted the fact she had lost touch with the star over time.

 

 

Speaking to the audience, Madonna said: 'For one reason or another we fell out of touch, then the witchhunt began and it seemed like one story after another came out about Michael.

 

'Long live the king': Madonna opened the MTV Video Music Awards 2009 in New York with a personal tribute to Michael Jackson

 

'I felt his pain, I know what it's like to walk down the street and feel like the whole world is turned against you.

 

'I know what it's like to feel hopeless and not able to defend yourself because the roar of the witchhunt is so loud you're convinced your voice can never be heard except I had a childhood and was allowed to make mistakes and find my own way in the world without being in the spotlight.'

 

She spoke of her emotions when she heard that Jackson had died.

 

 

She said: 'When I first heard that Michael had died I was in London, days away from the opening of my tour, Michael was supposed to perform in the same venue as me a week later, all I could think about in that moment was I had abandoned him, that we had abandoned him, that we had allowed this magnificent creature who once set the world on fire to somehow slip through the cracks.

Jackson was not only an integral part of MTV's history - his legendary videos changed the way music clips were made and he was the first black artist whose work was aired on the fledgling network - but he also provided the VMAs with some of its most memorable moments, including his infamous smooch with then-wife Lisa Marie Presley, in 1994.

 

 

The tribute wasn't the only moment where Jackson's presence was felt. The network also aired a brief premiere of the trailer for 'This Is It,' the documentary about Jackson's preparations for his comeback concerts that were to be held in London. The film is due to come out in October.

 

 

Host Russell Brand also paid tribute to Jackson. 'Tonight is dedicated to the great Michael Jackson,' Brand, in a top hat, told the audience.

 

 

'Let's honor Michael tonight by loving one another in his memory.'

 

 

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards will be shown on MTV at 9pm tonight.

طبعا ليس قصدي سوى برنامج تلفزيوني بريطاني يعرض على قناة البي بي سي الأولى  يقدمه الأمريكي بارومان ،هذه أول مرة أشاهد البرنامجولكنها كانت مفاجأة جميلة أن شاهدة الطفلة جيد.عمرها 5 سنوات أنقذت حياة أمها التي فقدت وعيها بسبب الصرع،المهم جائتها الحالة ،فإتصلت بالإسعاف ورقمه في بريطانيا 999 يعني ثلاث تسعات،وتصرفت كما طلب منها موظق الإسعاف ووضعتها في وضعية الريكفري بوسيزشن recovery position،وإنتظرت حتى جاء الإسعاف،وأعطت لأختها قطعة شوكولاته  حتى تهدأ ولاتتوتر.وإتصلت أمها بالبرنامج على مايبدو،وحكت لهم القصة .فكؤفئت الطفلة بالرقص مع فرقة غنائية مشهورة ،خاصة لما عرفوا أنها تحب الرقص .

أخبروا الطفلة بأنهم ذاهبين  لحديقة الحيوان لجمع بعض البطتاقات المجانية أو شئ من هذا القبيل  وتخبأ بارومان المذيع على شكل غوريللا ترقص في حديقة الحيوان .

ورقصت جيد الطفلة مع فرقها ذا ساترديز

ما أعجبني هو أن البرنامج يهتم بالبسطاء و الناس العادية  وذكرني ببرنامج قلب من ذهب.

وحكاية أخرى قصة سالي أم ومدرسة موسيقية إعتنت بطفلتها لسنوات وتركت عملها حين عانتمن الروماتيزم ،فجاءت الفتاة المراهثقة لتشكرها في البرنامج،وأحضروا مطربها المفضل وغنى لها سيمبلي ريج :أحمر فقط

وشكرتها إبنتها و كانت مفاجأة جميلة

ومازلت أتابع البرنامج

وقصة أخرى لأب عشريني فقد الأمل وفي تحقيق أمنيته من أجل عائلته و تأمين لقمة العيش لهم،فحضر للبرنامج وغنى على المسرح بدور على الويست إند بدور رئيسي مع ثلاثة آخرين،وصوته حلو.فلما سألوه ماذا تقول للآخرين وتنصحهم ،فأجاب قائلا : لاتيأسوا من تحقيق أحلامكم أي لاتستسلموا

هل ستأخذها على محمل الجد أم الهزل؟

He is said to have made the comment to Stephen K Amos after the funnyman performed a stand-up show for Prince Charles’ 60th birthday last year.

Stephen told The Wright Stuff on TV’s Five yesterday that Harry, 24, congratulated him before saying: “You don’t sound like a black chap.”

As host Matthew Wright looked on stunned, Stephen added: “I wanted to say, ‘How is I supposed to sound?’”

Asked if he thought it was said in jest, Stephen said: “I hope it was.”

Clarence House would only say last night: “We do not comment on allegations about private conversations involving the Royals.”

The gaffe comes a month after Harry was forced to apologise to an Asian soldier he called a “Paki”.

He also sparked disgust in 2005 by wearing a Nazi uniform
