    أطباء مطار نينو اكينو الدولي يفحصون طفلا حديث الولادة عثر عليه عمال النظافة في سلة نفايات على متن طائرة تابعة لطيران الخليج في مانيلا. وعثر العمال على المولود في السلة داخل مرحاض وسارعوا الى أخطار السلطات الصحية فور هبوط الطائرة القادمة من البحرين.(أ ف ب)

    ربما يقول الكثيرون إن «الأمر ليس أكثر من مجرد ساندوتش جبن»، ولكن هذا الساندوتش يحمل أهمية كبيرة بالنسبة للطباخ البريطاني الشهير مارتن بلونوس.

ويرغب الطباخ الشهير، الذي يظهر في برامج تليفزيونية، في تسجيل اسمه ضمن موسوعة جينيس للأرقام القياسية لإعداده «أغلى ساندوتش جبن في العالم». ويتكون الساندوتش «الثمين» من جبن الشيدر ونبات الكمأة البيضاء وتراب الذهب.

وذكرت هيئة الإذاعة البريطانية (بي بي سي) أن بلونوس قدم خلال معرض للجبن في مدينة سومرسيت، الساندوتش الذي يبلغ سعره 59ر110 جنيه استرليني (ما يعادل 134 يورو).

وتقدم الطباخ الشهير بطلب لإدراج اسمه في موسوعة غينيس. ولا يوجد حتى الآن رقم قياسي خاص بأغلى ساندوتش جبن.

A Michelin-starred chef has unveiled the world's most expensive cheese sandwich - which carries a whopping price tag of £110.

The delicacy was created by celebrity chef Martin Blunos, who hand-crafted the luxury snack using cheddar blended with expensive white truffles.

It is dressed with 100-year-old balsamic vinegar and the sourdough bread - which costs £5 alone - is sprinkled with powdered E175. That's gold dust to you and me.

The gourmet dish is the main attraction at the Frome Cheese Show in Somerset where the Food Poker star is judging a sandwich-making competition.

Blunos worked with expert cheese-makers at local west country producer Pilgrim's Choice to create the special white truffle blend, which gives the sandwich its hefty price tag.

He said: "We Brits are known to love our cheese sandwiches, and here's one that not only comes with a royal price tag but is fit for the banqueting table.

'The white truffle fuses beautifully with the West Country Farmhouse Cheddar and the edible gold leaf gives it a really special look.'

'In fact, washed down with a bottle of Krug, what more could you want?' 

Blunos selected the highest quality ingredients to create the double-layered dish.

He worked with experienced cheddar producers at Pilgrim's Choice to create the bespoke white truffle cheese, which itself costs £92.

The chef used a £5 loaf of sourdough dressed with extra virgin olive oil and then layered cheese, slices of quail's egg, heirloom black tomato, epicure apple, and fresh figs.

He added dainty mustard red frills, pea shoots and red amaranth for a salad layer and topped the whole masterpiece with edible gold dust.

The cost of the entire sandwich put together runs to £111.95.

There is no current official world record for the most expensive cheese sandwich but Blunos and Pilgrim's have applied to the Guinness book to have their sandwich recognised.

The standing record for the most expensive commercially available sandwich is the von Essen Platinum Club Sandwich, which was made at the Cliveden House hotel in Taplow, Berkshire.

It featured Iberico ham, poulet de Bresse, white truffles, quail eggs, semi-dried tomatoes and fermented sour dough bread, weighed half a kilogram, and cost £100.

It's probably a little extra if you want it toasted.

    وضعت سيدة مصرية تبلغ من العمر 33 عاما أربعة توائم ، 3 إناث وذكر واحد ، عقب عملية ولادة قيصرية حرجة بمستشفى الإسماعيلية العام. وقال مدير المستشفى، إن ثلاثة من الأطفال بحالة جيدة بينما الطفلة الأخيرة في حالة حرجة بسبب نقص وزنها الذي لم يتجاوز كيلو جراما، مضيفا أنه تم وضع طفلة واحدة بإحدى الحضانات بالمستشفى وتوزيع باقي الأطفال على الحضانات الأخرى بالمراكز الطبية نظرا لانشغال كافة الحضانات بالمستشفى العام. وأكد أن الأم تيسير حسن (33 عاما) لم تتلق أي أنواع من منشطات الحمل وأنها تخضع حاليا هي والأطفال الأربعة لعناية طبية مكثفة من جانب فريق طبي متخصص.
