    لقيت فتاة أردنية يوم السبت حتفها أثناء قيام والدها بإجراء عملية قيصرية لها داخل المنزل بمنطقة حي النزهة بالزرقاء شرق عمان ،بهدف انتزاع جنين من أحشائها حملت به سفاحا منه.

وقال مصدر قضائي ليونايتد برس إنترناشونال إن "الأب بدأ بممارسة الفاحشة مع ابنته (19 عاما) منذ أن كانت في الرابعة عشرة من عمرها ودأب على ذلك ،وإن زوجته كانت على علم بطبيعة العلاقة بين الأب وابنته منذ عامين".

وتابع المصدر أنه ونتيجة لحمل الفتاة من والدها وخوفا من افتضاح الأمر، قرر إجهاض الجنين، حيث طلب من زوجته مغادرة المنزل وقام بإجراء جراحة قيصرية لابنته لانتزاع الجنين من أحشائها،مضيفا أن "الأب قام بشق بطن ابنته وانتزع الجنين ومن ثم قام بخياطة بدائية للجرح"،ومن ثم أصيبت الفتاة بنزيف حاد وما لبثت أن فارقت الحياة.

وأضاف أن الأب قام بنقل ابنته إلى المستشفى حيث حضر نائب مدير شرطة الزرقاء والمدعي العام الذي قرر توقيف الزوج والزوجة وأمر بفتح تحقيق في الجريمة ونقل الجثة إلى الطب الشرعي لتشريحها.

    بدأت ظاهرة غريبة تتفشى بين أوساط الشباب وهي وضع البريد الالكتروني"الايميلات" وأرقام الجوالات وبعض الصور والشعارات والرسوم على السيارات، وهذه الظاهرة بدأت في ازدياد ولكن يتبادر إلى الذهن، ما هي الدوافع والأسباب وراء الظاهرة المتزايدة؟ وما هو دور الأسرة والمجتمع في معالجتها؟، وخلال محاولة "الرياض" لرصد هذه الظاهرة، رفض ممارسوها الحديث بأسمائهم الشخصية، مبررين أن الدافع الحقيقي وراء هذه الشعارات هو "التقليد فقط"، كما يرى البعض منهم أن تصرفاتهم بهدف "التعارف"، إلى جانب سماع أراء الآخرين حول "السيارة" خاصة أن هناك عوامل مشتركة بين ممارسي هذه الظاهرة، كالسيارات الشبابية وأرقام السيارات ومصادر لوحاتها!

ترقيم وتعارف!

وأكد الشيخ "عبد الله المنصور" الناطق الإعلامي لهيئة الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر بالقصيم أن ظاهرة وضع البريد الالكتروني أو الجوال أو عنوان جوال "البلاك بيري" على السيارات له مقاصد غير سوية غالباً، فنلاحظ من يعلن عن بيع سيارته التي أوقفها أمام مدارس بنات وعليها رقم جواله!، وآخر طلا سيارته بطلاء مؤقت ولون ملفت ووضع عليها عنوانا للتواصل معه وأوقفها أمام كلية للبنات!، موضحاً أن التعامل الرسمي للهيئة مع هذه الظاهرة يتمثل باستيقاف السيارة، ويوجه قائدها التوجيه اللازم، ويطالب بنزع العنوان ويناصح فإن استجاب وإلا أحيل للجهات المعنية.

وأوضح مدير مرور منطقة القصيم العميد "عبدالعزيز الخلف" أن الأنظمة المرورية تمنع هذه الممارسات، مبيناً أن الدوريات المرورية ترصد هذه الظاهرة، وتعاقب مرتكبيها بتحرير مخالفات لهم، وقد تحجز المركبة حتى إزالة المخالفة مع أخذ التعهد بعدم التكرار.

حركات مراهقين

ويقول الأخصائي النفسي بالإدارة العامة للشؤون الاجتماعية بمنطقة القصيم "أحمد بن غانم الحربي" أن هذه الظاهرة لها عوامل وأسباب نفسية عديدة؟ فممارسات الشباب بوضع أرقام هواتفهم أو بريدهم الالكتروني على نوافذ سياراتهم أو كتابة بعض العبارات الغريبة، والتي قد تخدش الحياء أحياناً أو تؤجج التعصب في مجتمعنا أحياناً أخرى هي ممارسات مراهقين غالباً أعمارهم بين سن ( 13-21) عاماً تقريباً، وفئة المراهقين هي التي يحدث فيها غالباً "تغير في الانتماء إلى المجتمع".

ويلخص الأسباب والدوافع النفسية التي دفعت هؤلاء لممارسة هذه الظاهرة بأنها "مراهقة مضطربة النمو"، معتبراً أن الحرمان العاطفي والوجداني لهذه الفئة نتيجة تعرضها للعنف، خاصة في مرحلة الطفولة أو الإهمال من قبل الأسرة والرقابة الصارمة، ومعاملته كطفل وكثرة التدخل في شؤونه، وهو الذي يحتاج خاصة في هذه المرحلة الحرجة إلى إشباع عواطفه ورغباته وتوكيد ذاته كل ذلك من أبرز أسبابها، مضيفاً أن الشعور بالإحباط والملل والفراغ يؤدي إلى البحث عن أي متنفس أو وسيلة تساعده على ملء وقت فراغه، وتغير نمط حياته، وإثبات الوجود والكينونة، إضافة إلى طبيعة شخصية المراهق والتي تميل إلى المعارضة، والنزاعات والاستقلالية، والمزاجية في كثير من سلوكياتها، نتيجة التغيرات والصراعات الداخلية التي تصاحب هذه المرحلة الحرجة سواء من الناحية الاجتماعية أو العقلية أو الفسيولوجية أو الجنسية أو الهرمونية وغيرها، كما يشير إلى أن من الأسباب الأعراض النفسية المصاحبة لهذه المرحلة كالقلق والانزعاج بسرعة والغضب، وبعض الاضطرابات السلوكية المصاحبة كالكذب والعدوانية وغيرها.

مراكز الإرشاد

ويؤكد الأخصائي النفسي بالإدارة العامة للشؤون الاجتماعية بمنطقة القصيم "أحمد الحربي" أهمية المعالجة وعدم التجاهل لهذه التصرفات الخاطئة سواء كانوا أفرادا أو مؤسسات حكومية كعلاج سلوكي، وذلك بدراسة المشكلات التي يعاني منها الشباب بصورة موضوعية وعلى أسس علمية وإمكانية تطبيقها عملياً، وتوفير مراكز الإرشاد النفسي والاجتماعي لحل مشكلات الشباب على أسس منهجية وعلمية، وتدريب المراهقين على تنمية المهارات التي تفيدهم وتقدم لهم الخبرات اللازمة لتكوين الشخصية الايجابية، سواء عن طريق الأسرة أو المدرسة أو بعض المؤسسات الاجتماعية المهتمة بإعطاء المعرفة والمعلومات الكافية حول الغذاء السليم، وطرق الرعاية الصحية والجنسية منذ الصغر، وعلاج المخاوف العصبية والاضطرابات الانفعالية التي يعاني منها الشباب، خاصة في بداية مرحلة المراهقة وذلك عن طريق المراكز المتخصصة، إلى جانب إيجاد الأماكن المناسبة للشباب للقضاء على وقت فراغهم والترفيه عنهم بما يعود عليهم بالنفع وإيجاد البرامج الاجتماعية الموجهة والتي تهدف إلى استغلال طاقاتهم، واكتشاف مواهبهم، وتعديل سلوكياتهم. ويؤكد "الحربي" أن علاج مشكلات المراهقة هو في النهاية علاج نفسي جماعي يهدف لتحقيق التوافق الاجتماعي بين المراهقين، حيث تكون فرصة المناقشة والمعاملة دعوة صريحة للتعلم، وازدياد الثقة بالنفس للوصول إلى الصحة النفسية السليمة ،مع إعطاء المزيد من الوقت للأبناء، والتفهم والتفاهم والحب والصداقة، لنستطيع الوصول لحل ناجح لمشاكل الشباب، إضافة إلى سن أنظمة رادعة لمثل هذه التجاوزات.

مراهق يقطع عضوه ويرميه في بئر

    أقدم مراهق اندونيسي على قطع جزء من عضوه التناسلي ورميه في بئر، بعدما علم ان صديقته تعتزم الزواج من شخص آخر.

ونقلت وكالة "ايه ايه بي" الاسترالية امس عن السلطات الصحية الاندونيسية ان المراهق البالغ من العمر 19 عاما من بلدة في مقاطعة جافا الوسطى كان محظوظا بالبقاء حيا بعدما أقدم على فعلته. وقال مدير مستشفى سيلاكاب سوجينغ بودي سوسانتو "وصل (المراهق) الى المستشفى يوم الخميس الماضي بحالة حرجة بسبب نزيف الدم". وأضاف "قطع العضو التناسلي قد يكون قاتلا". ولم يتمكن الأطباء من إعادة وصل القطعة المفقودة من عضو المراهق لان القرويين لم يتمكنوا من العثور عليها. وقال سوسانتو ان المراهق أمضى عدة أيام في العناية الفائقة، وهو يتعافى حاليا.

Broken-hearted man cuts off own penis

JAKARTA: An Indonesian man has cut off his own penis and thrown it into a well after his girlfriend decided to marry someone else, local media reported.

The 19-year-old man from Cilacap district in Central Java province arrived in hospital in critical condition from blood loss but medical personnel managed to save his life, according to the Jakarta Globe newspaper.

"It was a critical time," the hospital's director, Sugeng Budi Susanto, told the Globe. "Cutting off a penis can be fatal."

Susanto said the man, who was identified only as AMD, refused to talk about the incident, but a source confirmed that he had cut of his penis after he discovered his girlfriend intended to marry another man, according to the Globe.

"The sliced-off penis has not been found," the source was quoted as saying.

"Allegedly, (he) threw it into the well with the intention of committing suicide because he thought nobody would be able to save his life."

Fifty lashes for the teenage girl who wore an 'indecent' knee length skirt in Sudan

A girl of 16 was given 50 lashes after a judge ruled her knee length skirt was indecent.

Silva Kashif was punished without her family being told after she was arrested while walking alone near her home in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.

Her mother, Jenty Doro, said: ‘I only heard about it after she was lashed. Later we all sat and cried.

‘She is just a young girl but the policeman pulled her along like she was a criminal. It was wrong.’

She said she would sue the police and the judge because her daughter is a Christian and underage.

The law states that under-18s should not be given lashes.

Doro said Khashif was taken to Kalatla court where she was convicted and punished by a female police officer in front of the judge.

'I only heard about it after she was lashed. Later we all sat and cried ... People have different religions and that should be taken into account' she said.

Khartoum is governed by Islamic sharia law. But although Miss Kashif is living there she is originally from the south of the country, which is not.

The government is supposed to be working to soften the impact of sharia for southerners living in Khartoum.

Her lawyer, Azhari al-Haj, said: ‘She was wearing a normal skirt and blouse, worn by thousands of girls. They didn’t contact a guardian and punished her on
the spot.’

The case will add fuel to a debate already raging over Sudan's decency laws after this year's high-profile conviction of Sudanese U.N. official Lubna Hussein, who was briefly jailed for wearing trousers in public.

Hussein, a former journalist who used her case to campaign against Sudan's public order and decency regulations, is touring France to publicise her book about the prosecution.

She had faced the maximum penalty of 40 lashes but was given a lighter sentence.

Arrests for indecency, drunkenness and other public order offences are not uncommon in Khartoum which is governed by Islamic sharia law.

Earlier this year Sudanese UN official Lubna Hussein was briefly jailed for wearing trousers in public.

    جاء في الاقوال التي استمعت إليها المحكمة في بلدة هاميلتون الواقعة في نورث أيلاند أن مراهقا نيوزيلانديا تسبب في إصابة صديقه الحميم بالعمى أثناء اللهو معه بمسدس لكن شاء الله أن يفقد هذا المراهق نظره فيما بعد نتيجة "عارض طبي مؤسف".

وقضت المحكمة يوم الثلاثاء بحجز تومين شان كيدويل (18 عاما) في منزله لمدة 18 شهرا بعد أن أقر بالذنب في إحداث عاهة بصديقه وبحيازته مسدس بصورة قانونية.

واستمعت المحكمة إلى أن كيدويل أطلق الرصاص على صديقه أثناء اللهو معه في منزله الكائن بالقرب من هاميلتون مما أدى إلى إصابة الشاب الاخر بالعمى الدائم بعد أن أجريت له عدة عمليات لإزالة طلقات الرصاص من مخه.

وقال محاميه مايك كوران إن كيدويل فقد نظره منذ الحادث بسبب "عارض طبي مؤسف" وهو الان أعمى قانونيا وهكذا تكون المصادفة هي التي حققت العدالة إعمالا لمبدأ "العين بالعين".

Eye for an eye after teen shot best friend

A Hamilton teenager who shot his best friend in the face, leaving him permanently blind, later lost his own eyesight in a "medical misadventure", the Hamilton District Court has been told.

Tomene Shane Kidwell, 18, was sentenced yesterday to 18, was sentenced yesterday to eight months' home detention after earlier pleading guilty to maiming with reckless disregard and unlawfully possessing a pistol.

On February 10 this year Kidwell shot his friend in the head during a sleepover at his family's home in Enderley, the court heard. Kidwell was with three friends in the basement sleepout when he produced a gun and began pointing it at his friends as part of a game. He had kept the gun hidden from his family. Kidwell fired the gun at his best friend, who was left permanently blind.

The teen underwent several operations to remove pellets from his brain.

Kidwell later said he kept the gun as a deterrence to rival gangs.

Defence counsel Mike Curran said Kidwell struggled with the knowledge he had maimed his best friend, and was extremely remorseful and ashamed.

"It was just really a bunch of young men who got their hands on a gun and did something really, really stupid," Mr Curran said.

In a bizarre twist since the incident, Kidwell had lost his eyesight through a "medical misadventure" and was now legally blind, Mr Curran said.

In sentencing Kidwell, Judge Melanie Harland said the shooting was an extremely tragic case in which "nobody comes out of this with anything positive".

She said Kidwell's actions were the result of youth, inexperience and foolishness, and were an example of why guns needed to be treated in a restrictive manner. However, the judge was impressed by the actions of both Kidwell and his family after the shooting.

Judge Harland said an account of a restorative justice conference between Kidwell's family and the victim's family was one of the most moving she had read.

كشاف يرفض مكافأة مالية من ذوي حاجة مغربية تائهة

    رفض الكشاف طلال العنزي(15) عاما مكافأة مالية قدمها ذوو حاجة مسنة من الجنسية المغربية كانت تائهة في ساحات المنطقة المركزية المحيطة بالمسجد النبوي الشريف، بعد أن أوصلها إليهم وهو يدفعها بكرسي متحرك.

وكانت المسنة قد أنهكها المسير بحثا عن مقر سكنها إذ قام الكشاف بالتعرف على موقعها من خلال بطاقة السكن التي كانت تحملها، وأجلسها على العربة وقام بدفعها حتى أوصلها بأمان إلى أقاربها، وتعبيرا عن فرحتهم وتقديرا لجميله قدمت للكشاف مكافأة مالية مجزية رفض قبولها معتبرا أن خدمة ضيوف الرحمن وسام على صدر كل مواطن فضلا عمن أنيطت بهم الخدمة.

يذكر أن مواقف مشابهة تكررت من الكشاف مع حجاج من تركيا وتقديرا، لمواقفه قام قائد المعسكر الكشفي لخدمة الحجاج بالمدينة صالح محمد صالح بتكريم الكشاف بوسام التميز.

أزعجه صوت الكومبيوتر المرتفع فقتل شقيقه

    طعن صبي أميركي عمره 15 سنة شقيقه الذي يصغره بعام وقتله لأن صوت كومبيوتره المرتفع أزعجه.

وقال الرقيب في شرطة كورال سبرينغز جو ماكغهو لصحيفة فلوريدا صن سنتينال إن تهمة القتل من الدرجة الثانية وجهت إلى الصبي وليام غوريزنسكي بسبب طعن شقيقه ماثيو بسكين مطبخ.

وأضاف ماكغهو إن الشقيقين تشاجرا بسبب الضجة المنبعثة من الكومبيوتر قبل أن يستل وليام سكين مطبخ ويقتل بها شقيقه ماثيو، مشيراً إلى أن للشقيقين أخا ثالثا والجميع يعيشون في منزل واحد مع أبيهم المطلق من زوجته في منطقة كورال سبرنغز بولاية فلوريدا.

واعترف صبي عمره 12 سنة الأسبوع الماضي بمحاولة قتل جاره الذي يكبره بعام بسكين.

وقالت الصحيفة إن حكماً صدر بسجن الطفل الذي لم يذكر اسمه، 18 شهراً وبإدخاله مركزاً للأحداث الذين يتورطون بأعمال إجرامية.

الضرب بالأحذية عقوبة مغتصب هندي

    عوقب رجل في بلدة هندية بطريقة غريبة حيث أشبعه الأهالي ضرباً بالأحذية عقاباً له على اغتصاب فتاة في ال13 من العمر.

وذكرت صحيفة "تايمز أوف إنديا" الهندية ان عائلة الفتاة في بلدة أوتار براديش الهندية علموا بفعلة الرجل فسارعوا بدلاً من تسليمه إلى السلطات إلى تلوين وجهه بالأسود وضربه بالأحذية حتى سقط مغشياً عليه.

ونقلت الصحيفة عن بعض السكان المحليين أن الرجل الذي عرف عنه باسم الأول، شريف (43 سنة) اغتصب الفتاة الصغيرة التي تقيم في حيه.

وقال رئيس أحمد، أحد سكان البلدة "ارتكب شريف جريمته فيما كانت الفتاة وحيدة بمنزلها، ولكن ألقي القبض عليه بعدما تحدثت ضحيته عن مصابها فحضر كبار السن في البلدة وأفراد عائلة الفتاة ولونوا وجهه ثم ضربوه مراراً وتكراراً بالأحذية إلى أن سقط أرضاً".

ولم تعلم الشرطة بالموضوع إلا في وقت متأخر من يوم الجمعة وبدأت التحقيق للتأكد من معاقبة المغتصب والأشخاص الذي أنزلوا عقابهم الخاص به.

Man beaten with shoes for raping 13-year-old

Lucknow: A rapist in an Uttar Pradesh village was punished in a strange way - the village heads asked the victim's family to blacken his face and beat him with shoes till he faints or falls on the ground.

According to locals, the bizarre form of justice was delivered on Thursday evening in Ghsainwalla village in Amroha, about 300 km from state capital Lucknow.

Sharif, 43, allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl residing in his neighbourhood on Thursday morning. He was a resident of Peshthana area of Ghsainwalla village.

"Sharif committed the crime while the girl was alone in her home. He was caught red-handed by some locals after the victim raised an alarm," said Raees Ahmad, a villager.

"Soon the elders in the village came to know about the incident. The panchayat was convened in the evening. Acting on the directions of the panchayat members, the girl's family blackened Sharif's face and beat him several times with shoes till he fell on the ground," he added.

Police inspector Devendra Singh Tomar said: "We have come to know about the matter today (Friday) from local journalists."

"An inquiry has been initiated and we assure to take strict action against the rapist and the villagers who passed the strange judgement," he added.

    تحدت أسترالية في ال16 الأصوات التي تدعوها إلى التخلي عن سعيها للفوز بلقب "أصغر شخص يبحر منفرداً ومن دون توقف أو مساعدة حول العالم"، وانطلقت برحلة تمهيدية إلى سيدني بعد تعثر محاولتها الأولى. وأفادت وكالة الأنباء الأسترالية "آي آي بي" ان جيسيكا واتسون غادرت الشاطئ الشرقي باتجاه سيدني، وذلك بعد إنجاز كل التصليحات في يختها الذي تضرر في التاسع من أيلول/سبتمبر الماضي يوم اصطدم بسفينة شحن أجنبية يزيد وزنها على 63 ألف طن، ولم تتوقف لتقديم أية مساعدة بعد الحادث. وقال أندرو فرايزر المتحدث باسم واتسون انها انطلقت الرحلة التمهيدية عند الساعة 5:30 صباحاً ، مضيفاً انها "أرادت الانطلاق أمس (الاول) لكننا فكرنا في إعطائها ليلة إضافية لترتاح". وتابع ان "التوقعات الجوية تشير إلى ان الطقس جيد خلال الأيام المقبلة، وهي استيقظت اليوم وانطلقت وكان والدها ووالدتها وفريقها موجودين ليتمنوا لها الأفضل". يشار إلى انه يتوقع أن تصل واتسون إلى سيدني يوم الاثنين المقبل، حيث ستجري مقابلة إعلامية، على أن تعلن موعد الانطلاق في مغامرتها حول العالم قريباً

When my daughter reaches 16 I can't say I or my husband would sanguinely quit our jobs to support a risky solo sail around the world, nor would we blithely wave her off from the dock.

But I will encourage my daughter to follow her dreams, tell her she can achieve anything she puts her mind to, and counsel her not to listen to ignorant critics.

As someone who vividly remembers being an ambitious 16-year-old, I want Jessica Watson to achieve her goal of becoming the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe alone.

But as a thirtysomething parent, I would struggle to sanction such a quest if she were my own daughter.

We all want our kids to have the confidence to take risks and establish their own independence. Yet as a parent where do you draw the line between encouraging children to follow their dreams and saying no for their own good?

I interviewed Jessica Watson and her mother Julie earlier this year. The Watsons are a lovely family: sensible, non-pushy parents who have their daughter's welfare at heart. Jessica is a pleasant level-headed girl, if slightly remote in that way precocious teenagers often are.

I have zero nautical expertise and even less experience adventuring. Those who do, like adventurer Don McIntyre, Jesse Martin, America's Cup winner John Bertrand and Richard Branson, believe Jessica has the capacity to succeed.

Yet it seems to me that the Watsons are de-sensitised to the very real potential for something disastrous to occur on Jessica's voyage. They have become (understandably) so single-minded in their pursuit of her dream that the dangers exist only on a theoretical level in their minds.

That's the problem with obsessions - you often don't realise how in thrall you were to a particular idea/past-time/person until the spell is broken. Then you wonder just how you became so blinkered, and why you paid such a high price.

Most teenagers take risks to varying degrees - it's part of growing up and attaining independence.

Underage drinking, speeding, driving unlicensed, or popping pills at music festivals have become adolescent rites of passage, with tragic consequences for some families.

Unfortunately for Jessica her risk-taking is occurring in the full glare of the media spotlight and has the potential to be uniquely catastrophic.

If you're going to successfully sail solo around the world, confidence is vital. All those people now pouring scorn on Jessica's abilities are sapping her confidence and increasing the likelihood something will go awry on her ambitious voyage.

You can see it in Jessica's face. The Sunshine Coast girl who reclined on her yacht with a wide-eyed smile for photographers in May now looks rattled and cowed. Her collision with a 63,000 tonne Chinese cargo ship less than a day after she sailed out of Mooloolaba last month has left her psychologically bruised.

After initially lapping up the 'you go girl' story, the media - and politicians - have turned with a vengeance against the teenager, following a damning Maritime Safety Queensland report into the crash.

It revealed Jessica hadn't turned on an alarm that would have warned her of a potential collision, probably dozed off just before the crash, and could not produce a clear plotted plan of her journey.

Yet the accident is probably the best thing that could have happened. Sure it was humiliating for Jessica to crash before she even made it to Sydney, the departure point for her world record attempt. And it's fodder for critics who think it's insane for a 16 year old girl to undertake such a journey.

But better to have a scare like this close to home in relatively benign conditions than far from help in the treacherous waters around Cape Horn. You learn from your mistakes, and hopefully the Jessica Watson currently sailing towards Sydney is a little more circumspect and prudent than the girl who left home in September.

    مثل مراهق بريطاني أمام المحكمة بتهمة الاعتداء على أمه بالضرب بعدما اكتشف أنها ستخضع إلى عملية تغيير جنس.

وأفادت صحيفة "ديلي تلغراف" أن مراهقاً في الخامسة عشرة من العمر اعتدى على والدته بالضرب بعدما حضر إلى منزلها ووجدها ترتدي ملابس رجل وعلم أنها ستخضع لعملية تغيير جنس. وأضافت الصحيفة أن الفتى الذي لم يتم الكشف عن اسمه لأسباب قانونية، ظنّ أن أمه تمزح بادئ الأمر ثم فقد أعصابه حين علم أنها جادة حيال تغيير جنسها، فدفعها على الأرض وضربها. واتصلت الأم بالشرطة خوفاً على سلامتها.

واحتج محامو الدفاع على توقيف المراهق وأصروا على ضرورة أن يخضع لاستشارة نفسية بدل أن يمثل أمام المحكمة التي أطلقت سراحه وفق شروط محددة، بعدما تأكدت أنه كان في حالة صدمة.

يشار إلى ان الفتى يعاني من اضطراب فرط النشاط ومن متلازمة توريت. وأفاد فريق الادعاء أن الوالدة التي لم يتم الكشف عن اسمها هي الأخرى، تخلت عن الفتى حين كان في الثالثة من عمره وهو يقضي سنوات مراهقته في منزل رعاية في مدينة مانشستر، وكان يزور أمه من وقت إلى آخر.

A teenager was charged with assault after he lost his temper and hit his mother whom he discovered was undergoing a sex change, a court has heard

The 15 year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, attacked his mother last month after discovering she wanted to become a man, Prestatyn youth court, in North Wales, heard.

The court heard the teenager had arrived at his mother’s home in Prestatyn, Clwyd, North Wales to discover her “dressed like a man

Shocked at the discovery, he originally thought she was “winding him up”, prosecutors said.

But he snapped after realising his mother, also “looking very mannish”, was serious in pursuing a sex change and pushed her to the ground.

The teenager, who suffers from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Tourette's Syndrome, was later arrested after his mother called police.

He was later charged with assault.

Magistrates gave him a conditional discharge after the court heard he had been shocked at the news and had acted out of character.

Defence lawyers questioned why the teenager was even charged in the first place and accused authorities of not acting sensitively to the teenager’s ordeal.

They said they were “astonished” that he was hauled before the courts, with a better solution him being sent to counselling.

Earlier prosecutor Gareth Parry told the court the teenager’s mother, who also cannot be named, had abandoned him when he was three.

He said she had little contact with him during his life, as the teenager was brought up by foster parents in Manchester.

Mr Parry said the drama began when the teenager decided to visit his mother on August 17.

Upon arrival, he was greeted by his mother “dressed like a man”, which he thought she had done to “wind him up”.

Shocked when she said it wasn’t a joke, he then pushed his mother to the ground.

Fearing for her safety, she called the police, he said.

After his arrest, the teenager told officers that he had only pushed his mother after struggling to come to term with her decision.

Jim Humphrys, defending the teenager, told the court it was unsurprising that the teenager had lashed out.

"She was dressed as a man and looking very mannish indeed," he said.

"It's not surprising that he was very upset and I find it quite astonishing that the matter was not handled more sensitively.

“He should have received some form of counselling.”

Tourette's Syndrome is an inherited condition that seems to be somewhat more common in boys. In girls who carry the gene carrying Tourette's, about 66% have symptoms significant enough to be diagnosed. For the remaining 34%, many are diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This leads one to believe that the two disorders are related. More studies need to be done to determine the relationship between the two disorders.

It is uncertain whether Tourette's and ADHD are actually related in any way. Oftentimes, ADHD symptoms appear and a child is diagnosed and treated with Ritalin. In about 30-40% of children who have Tourette's, Ritalin will make the tics worse. When this happens, often doctors change the diagnosis to Tourette's and some other medication is prescribed.

The most commonly prescribed drug for Tourette's Syndrome is Haloperidol or its brand name, Haldol. It works well for most people in controlling tics, but sometimes has a sedative effect. Other drugs used to treat Tourette's are Pimozine and Clonidine, a blood pressure drug. Other sedative-type drugs or antidepressant drugs are used as well.

More research needs to be done to determine the links between Tourette's, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and ADHD. Perhaps when this research is done we'll have a better understanding of each of these disorders.

THE path to true love never runs smoothly, and if you are single and looking for romance you've probably had a few disaster dates.

But probably not as many as Jon Lloyd, who spent a year going on dozens of first dates and didn't get lucky once.

Fortunately, loser in love Jon saw the funny side and turned his experiences into an internet blog.

It became so popular he has now turned his online record into a hilarious website called thedatediary.co.uk - where visitors add their own toe-curling tales.

After splitting up with a long-term love and spending two years single, Jon, from Balham, south London, was persuaded by friends to resume his hunt for Mrs Right.

Last summer they signed him up to an online lonely hearts site as a surprise and also set him up with their single mates.

But telly producer and director Jon soon found himself lurching from one grief encounter to another.

From never having braved a blind date before, he was out on one every few weeks. He says: "My friends were settling down and wanted me to meet someone too.

"I wanted the same thing so I finally caved in to their pressure and agreed to meet up with a girl who was a friend of a friend."

But what followed would have been enough to put many of us off blind dates for good.

Jon says: "On the night everything was going well. We shared a bottle of wine and I'd got over my nerves about the fact I was on a date.

"I thought it was pretty obvious we didn't fancy each other and there was no romantic spark, but we were having a laugh.

"Then later in the evening, things took a strange turn.

"I walked her back to the station and said goodbye, offering my cheek for a polite peck - when without any warning she lunged at me and started licking my face.

"Her tongue was everywhere until, after a second or two in shock, I peeled her off me and ran away.

"When I later told our mutual friend what had happened, he said, 'Oh no, not again - she's done that before!'

"I couldn't believe I had been set up with a renowned face-licker."

 

 

 

Despite remaining in shock for weeks, Jon decided he wasn't going to be put off and vowed to give online dating a chance.

But what came next was a comedy of errors that readers of Jon's blog became addicted to.

There was the girl who had lied about her height and, at 6ft 2in, towered over 5ft 9in Jon. Another who turned up then promptly admitted she was engaged and showed Jon her ring. A third drank so much she wet herself and locked herself in the pub toilet.

And then there was the lass who only realised she was on a date with the wrong person when she asked Jon how long he had been in the police.

Jon also recalls: "Another girl told me online that she was a teacher.

"Our first date had then gone well and we were meeting up for a second time when I said my parents both worked in education and asked a few questions about her job.

"Suddenly she went really quiet and blurted out, 'There's something I need to tell you...'

"It turned out she wasn't really a teacher, she was a stripper. She was a nice girl but I didn't see her again after that." Not all of Jon's dates went badly, though. He says: "I did have some really good ones so I wasn't left thinking all women are weird.

"One thing about online dating is that it gets boring doing the same thing - going to bars and telling strangers your life story.

"So I tried to think of fun things to do to make it more interesting.

"On one date, with a teacher, we played crazy golf on a course full of dinosaurs designed for kids.

"That was great fun and we later went on a few more dates. Nothing came of it in the end but we stayed friends."

 

 

 

Yet he adds: "I took one girl boating on the Serpentine lake in London's Hyde Park, and had really played it up as a surprise.

"But when we arrived at the lake, it turned out she couldn't swim and was petrified of water.

"She was so traumatised she went white and couldn't even get close to the lake. After that, I decided to tone down surprises." Jon was amazed to find how many people venture into cyberspace to seek love - and on the right we offer a few comic confessions from visitors to Jon's website.

He continues: "I thought I was in the minority as a single bloke forced by my mates to flirt with girls online. But there were loads of people like me doing it.

"Some girls were stunning and it wasn't as scary as I thought. Some seemed a bit bizarre but I decided I couldn't knock back what I hadn't tried."

Jon also writes comic voiceovers for Channel 4 reality show Come Dine with Me so it is not surprising his entertaining dating confessions proved such a hit.

As word of his blog spread, he got hundreds of emails from singles all over the UK eager to share their own tales of rank Cupidity.

Jon, whose telly credits also include working as a director on BBC1's Masterchef, insists: "I never set out to write a blog on dating but the experiences I was having were so funny that all my friends kept telling me I should start writing them down.

"After yet another date ended in disaster I decided they might have a point - then my first post went down well and word spread.

"It wasn't moaning about being single, I just wanted to laugh about what was happening and for others to take heart from my experiences.

 

Dating should be fun so I didn't want to lose sight of that."

Despite his misadventures, Jon has not given up on love.

He says: "The responses to my blog made me realise everyone has a dating story. I got feedback from both men and women and it was good to get women's views.

"After all, when it comes to dating, us blokes are the masters at getting it wrong.

"But hopefully each dodgy date will have taken me one step closer to Mrs Right - and I'll keep writing about them until I get my own happy ending."

TINY rail nut Toby Field has run away from home FIFTEEN times in just seven weeks in an attempt to catch a train.

The four-year-old has made it as far as a station a mile away - where he boldly demanded a return ticket from staff.

Toby's attempts have been thwarted so far. But his worried parents have now put up "Wanted" posters at their local station asking commuters to be on the look-out for him.

Mum Kirstie, 31, told The Sun: "It's a nightmare - we can't turn our backs for a second. He's a real terror and just can't get enough of trains."

Toby escaped for the first time in July. He marched a mile to Marden station, Kent, and asked a guard for a return to Hastings, East Sussex, going via Tonbridge. He had been to the resort town a month earlier on a family trip.

The surprised worker phoned police, who had already been called by Kirstie and husband Stuart, 35.

They found him grinning with delight at being inside the railway station.

The Thomas the Tank Engine fan has since escaped a further 14 times - even trying to dodge staff by sneaking through a gap in a railway FENCE.

But his chances of boarding any train have been slashed by the posters.

They feature Toby's face, tales of his previous escapades and highlight his knowledge of local trains. And they ask anyone seeing him at the station to call his parents and the police.

A spokesman for Southeastern said: "Our staff have been trained to keep an eye out for Toby and to make sure he doesn't get on to any trains without an adult. He's actually become a big hit with our guards because he's such an angelic little boy.

"But we are on the look-out for him and we will make sure he's returned safely to his parents."

Well-deserved cuddle: Amazing Grace Sellers meets Theo the bear after donating her birthday money

The generous youngster from Woodfield Plantation decided that she had too many toys and wanted to help other children at the hospital by giving her £470 birthday money to The Children's Hospital Charity.

The Tickhill Estfeld Primary School pupil was diagnosed with a Wilms' Tumour, a form of kidney cancer, in September 2008. She is undergoing chemotherapy but was well enough to hand over her gift to Theo Bear, the charity's mascot.

Grace said: "When I counted up all the money I had raised I felt so proud and pleased that I would be helping other boys and girls at the hospital. I was also really grateful to everyone who had helped me raise so much.

"Theo Bear found out about the money I had raised and came and gave me a big cuddle when I was at the hospital to say thank you. I never thought I would ever get to meet Theo, it was brilliant."

Grace's parents Mark and Sharon Sellers are extremely proud of their daughter. Sharon said: "Since Grace was diagnosed in September we have been amazed by how brave and bubbly she has been and how well she has coped.

"There were times when we thought she might not be fit enough for her birthday party but Grace was so excited about it that she was determined to be well.

"Grace told us that all she wanted was for all her friends and family to be there and that she wasn't bothered about the presents.

"We feel so proud of Grace for deciding to donate her birthday money to charity and are delighted to be supporting such a fantastic hospital."

Simon Athey, senior fundraiser at The Children's Hospital Charity, said: "Grace is such a kind, generous little girl and we are delighted to accept her donation.

"We will use the money to fund specialist medical equipment to help the hospital maintain its position as a centre of excellence for paediatric care

The 20ft-deep tank, which opened in 2005, was used for Casino Royale, The Boat That Rocked and The Bourne Ultimatum. It is permanently filled with water heated to 32°C (90°F).

Stars using the studios in Iver Heath, Bucks, are trained to use scuba equipment, but film crews stay close at all times and are then airbrushed out of the footage.

Diver Phoebe Rhodamine, who took these pictures, said: "The film sequence may look very slick but the reality will often be very different."

The pool uses an ultraviolet filtration system to cut chlorine use, which can give actors red eyes.

''It's exciting to show the story of the production through underwater pictures,' said Phoebe Rudomino, a commercial diver and photographer who took all the shots.

'It's interesting to take a wider shot and show what is going on behind the camera.The final image or film sequence may look very slick but the reality will often be very different.

'There may be gaffer tape holding a bikini together or divers hanging upside down to keep someone in a certain position but the viewer will only ever see the final polished shot.'

The underwater stage, which opened in 2005, is a globally unique facility and has been used for a huge number of TV commercials, music videos and films, including the Boat That Rocked, Bourne Ultimatum, Atonement, Elizabeth and Casino Royale.

It houses a permanently filled water tank, which holds 1.2 million litres of water and is heated at 32 degrees.

'All the underwater sequences are a challenge as you have to come at it from a different angle and there will often be a lot of people squeezed into a small space,' said Phoebe, who has worked at Pinewood since the facility opened five years ago.

'Underwater access is limited so often all the director can see is the image coming out of the camera.

'They don't get to see all the things which are going on behind the scenes so it's interesting for me to capture that.

'We have a very good team but each shoot presents its own problems and its all about planning.'

Actress Keira Knightley is among a number of celebrities to have filmed in the underwater studio and was a 'natural.'

 

 

'She did a charity shoot for Fresh 20 drinking water and she was very good underwater,' said Phoebe.

'We had to train her to use scuba equipment and she was naturally very good.

'She was wearing a fairly heavy dress which made it hard but she was surrounded by safety divers and she did very well.'

Presenter and singer Myleene Klass was also filmed swimming gracefully underwater for her monthly CNN International show.

'She was great in the water. We often find singers are good at holding their breath,' added Phoebe.

'A big part of the shoot is making the artiste feel comfortable because they may have to look serene and beautiful in the water but are likely to be feeling exactly the opposite. I think Myleene really enjoyed the shoot and the images looked fantastic.'

Singer James Blunt had no problems when he filmed a Brit Awards promo underwater as he is a trained diver.

'He is very experienced and knew exactly what he was doing,' said Phoebe.

'We did a shot where he is suspended mid-water which can be a bit tricky.'  Phoebe, who has been shooting underwater photography for eight years, says she finds working with babies one of the most challenging parts of the job.

'The Getty baby shoot was hard as Charlie kept floating the wrong way round,' she said.

But one of her favourite shoots was a piece about sharks for the Discovery Channel.

'We had two animatronic six foot Great Whites and 5,000 litres of fake blood. It was a lot of fun.'  The exhibition, entitled Water on the Lens will be held in Movieum of London on the Southbank throughout October.

A FILM buff is set to pocket up to £170,000 today from the auction of a stunning archive of cinema posters.

The mystery collector spent 50 years amassing 312 bills promoting some of the biggest movies of the 20th century.

All are first-run ads printed before the movies became hits.

One is a highly sought-after poster of The Great Escape only made for UK audiences.

It shows Steve McQueen in an RAF jacket rather than his iconic leather bomber, and is expected to fetch £1,200.

A 1963 poster for James Bond film From Russia With Love is valued at £3,500. And a rare Star Wars one, used only in Britain and redesigned after six weeks, is priced at £1,500.

The most expensive is a 1941 bill for Humphrey Bogart film High Sierra, estimated at £10,000.

Other rare works include a 1961 Breakfast at Tiffany's poster at £4,000.

They were collected by an American living in the UK - who is selling them in Reading, Berks.

Cameo Auctioneers said: "They've shot up in value during the recession as they're seen as a stable investment

Dad-of-two Jeff said: "I've been farming all my life and I've never seen anything like it. Neither has anyone I've spoken to.

"They were both perfectly-formed eggs, so we were really astonished when we saw it."

Jeff, who runs Farmer Fred's Country Store in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, with wife Michelle, 44, added: "None of the farmers can believe it when we show them.

A Pilot got so drunk he lost the airfield where he was trying to land .

The 65- year-old amateur flyer- found 4 times the driving limit- had to be guided down by a helicopter.

He had been supping beer ansd wine before take-off- then w swigged cocktails in the cockpit. After a two- hour jaunt gazing at the countryside he was too tipsy to read the meters in his Cessna light aircraft.

He mutttered into radio to bemused control tower staff: Come on, i know you're down there. EWhere  the bloody hell have you hidden yourself?

He also sang  songs, cracked a monther-in- law joke and told  the groungd crew: pull fingers out. I have got  a party  to go on. to.

Airfield authorities alerted police as he stagggered to his car and the sozzled man was stopped  and breathalyzed as he drove home.

He was immediately stripped of  his driver's and pilot's licences.

He was charged and released on bail to face Chorley magistrates on Septembre 30.

The Judge who earns £ 128,000 - a - year, lives in Liverpool and sits at the City 's  Crown Court.

A TEENAGE record-breaking sailor said he was "overwhelmed" today as thousands of people cheered him into port after his round-the-world voyage.

Mike Perham, 17, became the youngest person to circumnavigate the world solo with assistance when he crossed the finishing line between Lizard Point and Ushant, France, on Thursday

The teenager, of Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, sailed the Open 50 racing yacht Totallymoney.com into Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, Hampshire, where he set out on November 15 last year.

A steel band entertained the crowds and dignitaries welcoming him to port while his mother, Heather, gave him the kiss and hug he had craved after months alone on board his boat.

Thousands of people joined his sister Fiona, father Peter and girlfriend Beckie Knight, on the waterfront to cheer him in this morning.

A Guinness World Records representative was also on hand to present him with the certificate for the youngest person to sail around the world single-handed.

Mike said: "I was close to tears when I came round the corner and saw the crowds. It was just incredible, I'm overwhelmed and quite honoured.

"Hopefully this will be an inspiration to other people and lots of other kids can go out on the water as well."

During the 30,000-mile voyage he battled 50ft waves, gale force winds and numerous technical difficulties.

He explained how the adventure had changed him and said: "I do feel different, I feel a little more mature and will probably tackle things with a bit more grim determination.

"It has given me a thirst for adventures, to go out there and really live life."

He has no specific plans for the future but said: "I'm going to go bigger and better. I'm already thinking of lots of other different adventures, not necessarily on the water because there's a whole world out there to see."

He told anyone thinking of doing a similar trip to "go for it" but speaking about 13-year-old Laura Dekker, he said: "It's not for me to say if she should go or not."

A Dutch court has put the teenager under state care for two months, stalling her bid to become the youngest person to sail solo around the world.

Mike, who lived without a fridge and cooked on a camping stove on board, said: "I always dreamed of the finish, that's what kept me going."

His mother said: "It was really hard letting him go. It was very emotional but once he got going and settled down so did I.

ت أحتضان إبنها منذ سفرته تلك.وهي سعيدة للغاية أنه عاد بالسلامة.لقد كانت مغامرة حقيقية ،وهي حتما ستشجع النشئ و الشبابا على الإقتداء بما قام به.

"Mike loves hugs like most people and he hadn't had that from us since Las Palmas just before Christmas.

"I am just so glad he is in one piece. He has had a real adventure and I hope it encourages other young people to go out and grasp life."

His father added: "He set out to achieve the goal and he has done it.

"Hopefully he has inspired many young people to go and live life to the full.

"His catchphrase is live the dream and that's what he has been doing."

Mike originally set off aiming to complete the challenge non-stop but technical problems forced several stops for repairs, meaning his world record is the youngest solo circumnavigation with assistance.

لقد كان مايك ينوي أن يواصل رحلته بلا إنقطاع،ولكنه ولده بعض الخلل التقني مما جعله يتوقف عدة مرات لتصليح القارب ،مما يعني بأن حقق رقما قياسيا لأصغر بحارا وحيدا حول العالم بمساعدة .

His voyage has taken him via Portugal, the Canaries, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

His route also took him via the Panama Canal after he missed the weather window to sail around Cape Horn at the southern tip of South America.

لقد مر على قناة  بنما - في أمريكا- و الراس الأخضر - في جنوب أفريقيا-  وأستراليا و نيوزلاندا

He set off from Portsmouth, Hampshire, on November 15 last year at the age of 16 and celebrated his 17th birthday in the South Indian Ocean on March 16

لقد إنطلق  بورسموث جنوب إنجلترا وهو في ال 16 من عمره ،وعاد وهو في ال 17 عاما من عمره.و إحتفل بعيد ميلاده السادس عشر في 16 مارس في المحيط الهندي.ليحقق مواصفات الرقم القياسي كان عليه أن يمر بخط الإستواء و كل خط طولي.

الشاب الآخر الذي حقق نفس الرقم القياسي هو الأمريكي زاك سدرلاند وكان يكبر مايك ب شهرين.لقد حقق مايك من قبل رقما قياسيا لأصغر شخص يبحر حول الأطلسي وكان عمره 14 عاما.

To satisfy the requirements of the world record, the solo circumnavigation has to cross the equator and every line of longitude.

The previous youngest to complete a similar voyage was American Zac Sunderland who was two months older than Mike when he completed his voyage last month.

But it will not be the first world record set by Mike. In January 2007 he became the youngest person to sail solo across the Atlantic at the age of 14.

According to Guinness World Records, the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe, sailing solo, non-stop and unsupported is Jesse Martin, of Australia.

He sailed in Lionheart from Melbourne, Australia, on December 8, 1998 aged 18 years 104 days and returned on October 31, 1999, taking 327 days 12hrs 52 mins.

فتاة هولندية عمرها 13 عاما منعت من الإبحار حول العالم لوحدها من قبل الخدمة الإجتماعية ،ووضعت تحت رعاية الخدمة الإجتماعية للتأكد من كونها تستطيع القيلم بالمهمة  نفسيا و جسديا أم أن والديها عرضوها للضغط.كانت الصبية المولودة على ظهر قارب في نيوزلندة تنوي أن تدخل موسوعة غينيس لأصغر شخص يبحر حول العالم،وهو الرقم الذي حققه المراهق البريطاني مايك بيرهام ذو ال 17 عاما.بعض الإخصائيين النفسيين والإجتماعيين سيخضعونها للفحص لمدة شهرين. 

A COURT has ordered that a 13-year-old girl be put in care — to stop her trying to sail solo around the world.

Daredevil Laura Dekker is raring to become the youngest person ever to make the treacherous journey, a record set yesterday by 17-year-old Brit Mike Perham.

But worried authorities in Holland have put Laura in the custody of child care workers after her divorced parents agreed to the risky voyage

Social workers say that the Dutch teen is too young to understand the dangers of the lonely TWO-YEAR journey and say it could affect her social development.

يقول المسؤلين بأن لورا صغيرة جدا- 13 عاما - ولاتعي مخاطر رحلة  بحرية لوحدها تستغرق ععامين.وأن تلك الرحلة ستؤثر على نموها الإجتماعي.و الكلمة الأخيرة للإخصائيين النفسيين الذين سيقيمون مدى قدرتها على مواجهة الأخطار و المتاعب التي قد تصادفها من عواصف  وموجات عالية تبلغ 50 قدما.

Child psychologists will now assess if she would be able to deal with the 50ft waves, tropical storms and other dangers the 24,000-mile trip holds.

The Dutch Council for Child Protection said Laura may be trying to impress her relatives.

Spokesman Richard Bakker said: "Laura has divorced parents and it is very normal for a child of this age to be very loyal to the parent [he or she] was living with.

"How much does she identify herself with her father, who is a good sailor?"

Micha de Winter, a professor of child psychology at Utrecht University, questioned the social impact of Laura's voyage.

She said: "A 13-year-old girl is in the middle of her development and you don't do that alone.

"You need peers and adults
