Here is my blog about life in London.

London is a strange place .  If you go to central London you will hear very few people actually speaking English.  Despite the number of foreign nationals in London there are people in London who absolutely hate visitors to the UK.  Even if you are UK born if you look like a 'visitor' you will have all the scorn poured on you.  There is no consideration for the diversity that visitors bring yet curry is the national dish in the UK - loved by the English.  Strange.  London is full of people who if they could would kill you if they could get away with it.  They are ready to abuse you at the drop of a hat and you have to ask yourself where there hatred came from.  They are very very bitter people, petty, narrow minded.  Despite this they enjoy sapping wealth from outside of the UK and will happily work overseas, enjoy all that comes with that, return to London and bring back nothing that would indicate they have been exposed to another culture.  Ex-pats from UAE are a prime example.  Really anyone planning to visit the UK should brace themselves for a shock.  They will be on the receiving end of some very bad behaviour, hatred, and undiluted discrimination.  All this irrespective of the funds that they bring in the name of tourism.  Think twice as those of us that were born here are having to wash saliva off the back of our abaya's after travelling through central London and given the choice we would escape London at a drop of a hat.  It is not all it is dressed up to be.
