A Betrayal of Trust

    A Betrayal of Trust

                                                              May/16/2008

A famous saying by an American named Benjamin Franklin said “A people who compromise freedom for securities deserve neither”. In the Arab World we have neither freedom nor security; it goes alone the line of insanity when governments forfeit their national security to please a friend who at the same time is arming your enemy and empowering them to threatening   your  well being.

The American policy in the Mideast region is either border line crazy or sheer wisdom.

In the last 5 years America has defeated the Taliban an arch enemy of Iran and with help from all neighbors in the region destroyed Iraq and gave it to the Iranian shia clients with the same  breath America is telling us of the danger of Iran. Someone call a mental hospital to put me in a stray jacket I can no longer foresee the wisdom of such a policy.

The Sunni Arab governments have played a big role in strengthen their enemy and endangering their national security to please Americas strange policy. With Iran coming out the biggest winner in the debacle that killed and weakened two birds with one stone, first Iraq Iran’s historical enemy was destroyed and America who was a potential enemy is bogged down in a black hole in Iraq that has consumed Americas men, machinery and is depleting their treasury .

A person with a sound mind asks the question do this government have think tanks or do they see the world with time keeping same eyes we do. America’s policy in the reign has been to strengthen the non-Arab countries such as Turkey, Israel and Iran and leave the 350 million Arabs at the mercy of the non-Arab neighbor s and at  the same America as the sole protector of these countries , Where America will be able to exert financial  and hegemony over them.

These days some of the Arab countries are a flush with oil money from the skyrocketing prices, While ate the same time the non oil producing Arab countries are drowning in poverty and some are on the verge of failing as viable states , such as Yemen ,Sudan, Somalia  whish are engulfed in internal strife.

Since these countries are absolute Monarchy and repressive dictatorship the people have no say in the failed policy of their countries and they can only be bystanders.

The betrayal of their security by an incompetent leadership that lives day to day and has no vision for the future is understandably bleak. The general public has put their trust in the hand of those who hold power and the leadership has gambled that trust by outsourcing their national security to others.

Son Men Just Don’t Cry

                          Son Men Just Don’t Cry

                                                            May, 12, 2008

Laying back on my hospital bed recovering from a stroke, I was a witness to the Katrina disaster that befall New Orleans, As it unfolded on the cable network such as CNN, Fox News I tried to keep attention  because I was heavily drugged , As I watched a man was interviewed and he was telling how the journalist how he saw the water take his wife and destroyed his house and pointed to where his house was and said the words ‘I have nothing left’ and exploded in tears  and at that moment as he cried I was crying with him , here was two men crying and indirectly feeling  the same pain.

When grown up boys are always teased that only girls cry and as we grow up we carry that mentality.  When I saw that grown man explode in agony I knew it takes a lot to break a man and show his weakness in the face of tragedy, seeing him in tears and saying “I have lost everything I have nothing left”. These word where powerful coming from a man who all his life has been conditioned to hide and suppress their feelings.

This morning while sitting and drinking coffee I was reading about Burma and imagined how many men were forced to abandon the mind set of men don’t cry and the image of that man crying on CNN during Katrina came to mind, Tears are a mercy from the creator to mankind to relief the emotions of pain.

My dad died more then 12 years ago  and If he was alive I would  have loved  to tell him “dad yes men to cry” and I love you very much and I understand you were trying to make me strong.

                                    “Dad yes men do cry”

Iraq a Historical Dagger

Iraq a Historical Dagger

                                                May/12/2008

There is something going on?  With the destruction of Iraq a reality an invincible line has been drawing for future blood shed that will spill over to all regions and continents.

The fighting camps are the Shia led by Iran and the Sunnis hopefully will be lead by the timid Saudi monarchy this War has been postponed 1400 years ago at the battle of kuffa where the Grandson of the prophet was murdered like his father Ali [ra] in Iraq by the same hypocrites who to this day claim allegiance to Ali [ra] .

Before I dwell in to history let me spot light the fatale era the Arab Gulf have made by allying them self in the destruction of Iraq and handing it free of charge to Iran. Even an Ant knows that Iraq is historically the door way or Fort in defending the Arab peninsula against domination  by regional powers, So a sane person ask what were the Sunni Emirs of the Arab gulf  thinking  when they trade their national security for a life of fear and paid protection to foreign powers these leaders were probably in western casinos  at the time dancing the nights away when they agreed to the destruction of a Sunni lead Iraq.

The alliance Iran Syria and some elements in Lebanon  are already camped and ready for the fuse to be lit, maybe it will start in Lebanon and only god know when the doors of hell are opened how many people the hell fire will engulf.

Historically Iraq has been the center of murder division and conspiracy amongst the Muslims, Iraq gave birth to the fanatical khurajj who murdered the caliph Ali [ra].

Iraq is also the home of the people of kuffa, where its citizens invited al-Hussein to pledge allegiance to him once he arrived the hypocrites a banded him and left him to die a terrible death there is a famous saying “oh Hussein our hearts are with you but our sword are against you “.These are the forefathers of the shia,  those who gather every year at karaballah and beat them self to a frenzy where they shed blood and eat dirt in remembrance of the martyred grand son of the prophet[saw] , When in reality they feel the guilt of their  forefathers betrayal.

The future is bleak and the tensions are dangerous and real. Let us hope for peace and the prevention of bloodshed.

A famous Arab saying correctly describe Iraq as the following “Iraq the land of hypocrites and strife”

The Wretched Souls

                                                                    The Wretched Souls

                                05/11/2008

Nature has always set the rules, that living things must adapt to that include Man the smartest animal of them all. Nature some times must assert its power by way of Earth quack tornados or the mother of all disasters tsunami.

Last week in an obscure country called Burma according to the world and Myanmar to its ruling junta was struck by a cyclone that laid in its wake almost one hundred thousand dead and guess what that’s not the real problem. In the wake  of the disaster  the whole world responded to aid the living and displaced, but the reactionary Government wont let aid in and to add insult to injury the government is holding a referendum on a constitution amendment while their civilians bodies are floating on the shore of its delta.

This nation has been locked from the world for the last 15 years after a coup d’état took place the phobic generals have shuttered their countries windows to the outside world

Two months ago a short lived uprising by monks was met by an iron hand   that left many of them dead.

A person must ask the question what must the world do in the face of a government that will let its people rot then let the world come to its aid. What legal responsibility should the world community use to force humanity on an unhuman junta?

The wretched souls of Burma are amongst the many in this cruel world whose only crime was to be born and their sufferings are not isolated event but are part of fraternity of the voiceless many who suffer in the shadow of a world that claims to champion human rights.

When I read of the many that died a cruel though crossed my mind, I said maybe these dead were better off then those who survived. Who will want to live under hunger and oppression?

THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT

A Forbidden Fruit

                                  05,10,2008

In the heavens God warned the first humans to keep a way from eating from a certain tree they disobeyed and we all know the rest of the story.

Today the children of Ismail are living in a state of poverty and instability. Yes the Muslim world is afflicted with wars disease and a bleak future.

There is something that baffles the mind as the World around us embrace democracy and reap of its harvest, the children of Ismail fail to grasp what has become a reality in other regions and nations, They are stuck in a time warp  of  many yesterdays unable to break the chains that are holding them  in bondage.

I reside in the state if New York located in the united states and I am a citizen of that nation and when elections take place my conscience is full of guilt that more then 1 billion of my brethren can not do the simple task of voting that I’m afforded in my adopted country.

Some western racist have come to the conclusion that the children of Ismail are not fit to embrace and implant democracy in their nations, some how our genes are not compatible with democracy.

Some nations in the Arab Muslim world have mastered the democracy of illusions, where in order to please Western nations and World public opinion have come up with back door democracy, they hold farce election some are even not afforded an opponent to challenge them,

Most of the constitutions in these nations state only 2 terms for the presidency but some how they end up leaders for life and the  election do nothing but waste their limited resources of these poor nations.

There is a great mystery in the political life of these nations; some how they cant grasp the idea of the peaceful transfer of power. These leaders come to power by the gun and its bullets and the only time a transfer of power occurs at the hands of the Angel of death or another person with a bigger gun and bullets.

Like our forefather Adam transgression against the creator by eating what he was not suppose to, So in conclusion Democracy has become the forbidden fruit of  today.

POVERTY
09 May, 2008

Poverty

May, 09, 2008

As the oil prices reach almost $125 a barrel the Arab oil producing countries are reaping unbelievable wealth, at the same time their brethren in Egypt where having riots over bread and at the border of Saudi Arabia last week 18 Yemenis hiding in a hole from the Saudi border police where sprayed with gas and set on fire when they refused to come out of the hole they where are hiding in and were burned and are in special burn unit hospitals in Yemen.

A sane man will ask the question why Arab oil producing countries awash with wealth will stand by while their poor brethren are living in poverty never seen before, last year Indians working in these wealthy countries remittance was more then $7 billion dollars sent to India.

While the Saudi border guards are busy chasing Yemenis immigrants running away from poverty with fire torches’, Filipinos immigrants are entering the Kingdom in 747 planes with visa issued by the Saudi governments.

The policy makers in these countries are weakening their own national security when neighboring countries are drowning in poverty and await help from western governments with conditional monetary Aids to keep afloat.

Why did these countries stand bye as Iraq was destroyed and giving to the shitte and Persian extremist , Iraq was the power balance that kept Iran in check , now these countries are exposed and must buy protection from world powers and appease Iran on many things.

The wealthy Arab countries should shore up countries like Egypt, Yemen, Jordan etc, in order to keep them from compromising the security of the whole region due to their poverty which makes them dependent to other countries.

To all the rich Arab countries review your policies in investing or at least letting these wretched souls enter your countries to work and improve the conditions, conditions that lead to 10 Egyptians to die in bread lines and 18 Yemenis burned alive by brotherly border guards on the Saudi borders.

Why Lebannin Why

                          Why Lebanon Why?

                    May, 08, 2008

There is saying if one forgets his history, he’s bound to repeat it, lately Lebanon has become afflicted with the disease that plagued it for 20 years, a civil war that consumed everything in its way. People who usually get sick from a disease they grow immunity to it, so in the future the body is  equipped to deal with it.

Once again Lebanon is on the verge of falling of a cliff, once again Lebanon wants to eat its young and destroy what little it has left. Watching the news I heard the sound of the language of the gun speaking in Lebanon again.

The country’s lawmakers have failed to deliver its responsibility of picking a president so Lebanon remains an orphan a nation with out a president.

You would think it’s an easy task since everyone knows that the presidency is allocated for a Christian so a person of sound mind would ask the Christian community to pick some one who is qualified and everything is done.

The party Hezbollah to its credit defended Lebanon when no one could against the Zionist entity and on two occasions did what Arab governments armies could not do , the first in 2000 when the Zionist where forced to withdraw unconditionally and in the summer of 2006 fought the Zionist entity to a standstill and showed the Zionist  as cowards  in  its fears  to engage the Lebanese resistance fighters  according to official reports by the Zionist governments     itself.

Hezbollah has forgotten how to return to civilian life and operates as state within a state entity and many foreign hands are behind the scene pitting one group against the other.

In theses first dangerous hours Lebanon needs to come to grips with its internal problems and each group most compromise for the sake of Lebanon’s health and stability.

Lebanon must understand once the gates of hell are opened the fire will consume all and Hezbollah stands to lose all it has fought for and Lebanon’s stands to lose what little it has left from many years of war.

In conclusion we must all pray that god will steer Lebanon from the painful realities of, it seems that war and death has cursed the Muslims and Arab world and when I look around  all I see is our people are doing the dyeing .

                                                                                                Thank You
