Muslims should try to influence others by their character not by dictation.

 A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group today urged GOP presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani to reconsider his acceptance of the endorsement of a controversial televangelist known for scathing attacks on Muslims and Islam.

In a news release on his campaign website, Giuliani is quoted as saying he is "encouraged" by the endorsement of Pat Robertson, chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). "His experience and advice will be a great asset to me and my campaign," said Giuliani.

On his "700 Club" program, Robertson has repeatedly defamed Islam and Muslims. He called Muslims "satanic," claimed the Quran, Islam's revealed text, is "fraudulent" and said Islam is "a monumental scam."

CAIR should pay attention to the well-being of Muslim community. They should not embroil themselves  in politics.

If ISLAM is A MONUMENTAL SCAM then CHRISTIANITY is A MONUMENTAL HOAX!
I am a Christian, but not by choice! And thank God for that, too!
We would all do well to remember that we do not choose our religions; they are forced upon us by the circumstances and the geographical locations of our births – it just so happens that we are born in such and such a place (a village or town or city), in such and such an area, in such and such a country; that’s all! Lebanon is one of the smallest countries in the world and yet one could be born a Maronite or a Catholic or a Sunni or a Shiite or a Druze or only-God-knows what else – and that Mankind, the APES, are creatures of habits, the products of their environments, and the victims of their circumstances!
So no people should ever take their sects or religions too seriously or to extremes; and no people should ever dare to, or presume to, assume or usurp the positions or posts of – or pretend to be – the defenders and protectors of their individual or collective Gods, and their existence or non-existence – most people use that as a reason and an excuse to either manipulate and exploit others; and/or if that fails, kill them!
Let the Gods fight their own battles and defend and protect themselves – if they can!
A GOD who can create the universe and all life-forms, and who requires or needs or even orders PEOPLE – weak but wicked worms – to defend and protect HIM and his existence does not make any sense to me at all – not a single iota of sense!
So, ENOUGH OF THIS HORSE-SHIT!
Not all of us are blind bats, banal baboons, craven cowards, deaf ducks, fumbling fools, gullible gulls, idiotic imbeciles, moron monkeys, or obtuse ostriches with bird flu in the brain!
FOR GOD’S SAKE AND FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! CEASE AND DESIST!
