Mark Dankof's America

     The Great Messiah has been inaugurated this January 20^th, in the midst of a sea of media fawning tainted with millennial overtones. One thing is absolutely sure: being Anyone but George W. Bush will take you a long way in terms of public relations and international good will. That part of the celebratory spirit in the Nation’s Capital today is entirely legitimate. Here in San Antonio, I will have an inaugural Hacker-Pschorr Weiss Bier with my colleagues at the Beethoven Maennerchor, to toast Mr. Bush’s long awaited return to Crawford. One trusts he will do no further harm to the Republic from that location.

     But there will be no toasting what will most certainly follow. One year from now, the Pink and Black Rainbow Coalition will awaken to the sober fact that the Second Advent did not materialize on January 20^th, 2009 in Babylon-By-The- Potomac. That constituency, and Mr. Obama himself, will be struggling to tread water in the Lake of Fire.

     One need not look any farther than the appointment of Rahm Israel Immanuel as the Chief of Staff to the incoming 44^th President of the United States, to see the bigger picture. Dr. E. Michael Jones, author of the new book, "The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit and Its Impact on World History," informs us in the December 2008 edition of Culture Wars, in an essay entitled, "Meet the New Boss: The Catholic Vote and the Logic of Empire", of the implications of the Immanuel appointment. As Jones lays it out, a Presidential Chief of Staff who served in the Israeli Army, whose father was a key member of Menachem Begin’s Irgun in its terrorist heyday in the 1940s, and who has been the leading recipient in the Congress of PAC money from the most tainted elements of the financial services industry on Wall Street, is hardly a harbinger of an impending change in American public policy directed from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

     Immanuel will hold the keys to the entrance into the West Wing of the White House. You know who will continue to have Oval Office access in this fraudulent, unfolding scenario. Welcome, International Central Bankers. Welcome, Zionist agents of the criminal regime in Tel Aviv. The mass murder being currently directed against Palestinians in Gaza has as its managing strategists the same folks targeting middle class Americans for extinction as well, only the latter constituency has not yet deduced who is behind its inexorable economic and cultural demise, even as its remaining money continues to be conscripted to finance the continuation of the physical elimination of the former.

     On the other hand, Rahm Israel Immanuel is perhaps the quintessential harbinger of change, if you define the word, as I do, as a guaranteed multiplication of all of the darkest trends that threaten to destroy the United States as a nation-state, a free Republic, and a major player in the international arena.

     All the unmistakable signs are there: the continued death of an American manufacturing economy which lost 3 million jobs in the Bush years alone; the first of a series of trillion dollar budget deficits in 2009; the continuation of unwinnable wars of colonialism and counterinsurgency in Iraq and Afghanistan that Mr. Stieglitz of the World Bank calculates will cost 3 trillion dollars at the unseen end of the tunnel; a prime-the-pump response to economic catastrophe that involves both the $750 billion bank bailout and Mr. Obama’s $800 billion in "stimulus"; an ongoing reliance upon foreign international borrowing and the printing of fiat money by the Fed to finance this smoke-and-mirrors game; the continued Balkanization of the United States courtesy of 20 million illegal aliens; and further cultural and moral malignancy metastasis, courtesy of the Jewish-dominated gay, abortion, and Hollywood constituencies presently infatuated with the Man from Kenya and Cook County.

     Ex-KGB analyst and Russian foreign ministry instructor, Igor Panarin, has painted his own prophetic picture of coming "change" in America by the year 2010, in an article posted recently in the Wall Street Journal. He predicts the coming breakup of the United States into four sectors, each dominated by a foreign power. Panarin’s thesis involves the same moral, political, and military analysis of the United States that I have proffered as an American paleoconservative. Even more ominously, the suggestion that 2010 is the year of prophetic fulfillment suggests that the good Russian professor has been reading Daniel’s account of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, or the Judean prophet’s proclamation of the end of Belshazzar’s reign and the Babylonian Empire.

     My prediction: some version of Igor Panarin’s portrait is about to be painted, and very soon.

     One additional prediction: Obama will follow Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s game plan to a tee. There will be frantic pump priming. The pump priming will ultimately fail, as it did between 1932 and 1940. The endgame will be global war. Robert Stinnis’s Day of Deceit: The Truth About FDR and Pearl Harbor is most instructive regarding the duplicitous machinations of America’s 32^nd President, with the original documents of the period to corroborate his analysis, courtesy of the Freedom of Information Act. Some version of this strategy will be repristinated now. The 44^th President of the United States will be the new front man to sell a new generation of suckers on the idea, with the real perpetrators staying in the background once again. Who are they? Charles Lindbergh’s 1941 speech in Des Moines, Iowa identified them 67 years ago. His speech also identifies them in 2009.

     The tripwire may well be the holocaust perpetrated by Israel and backed officially by the United States, in Gaza, as chronicled in Philip Giraldi’s "Pure Propaganda From the Papers of Record." Whether in Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan, or Pakistan, the game plan involves linking Iran to a false-flag incident in any or all of these locations, or in the United States itself. That will be followed by a fanning of the flames of Western public sentiment for an attack on Iran, courtesy of a Zionist-dominated American media. The entire tragedy will be wrapped in Old Glory. The Stars and Stripes will conceal the Seal of the House of Rothschild’s imprimatur and presence.

     But Mr. Obama’s public tome, entitled "The Audacity of Hope," underscores the underlying theme of today’s Inaugural Address to the infatuated, that hope is justified and positive change an inevitability. Sure it is. Welcome, P. T. Barnum.

     Let me reiterate to the presently infatuated: the national direction of the United States of America underscores temporal hopelessness; the real handlers of Barack Obama underscore the inevitability of change that is merely an exponential multiplication of the demonic trends that have brought this country--and the world--to the edge of the abyss. The clock is ticking.

     And as for any semblance of positive change coming out of Babylon-By-The-Potomac, let me suggest a real foundational beginning for America’s 44^th President of the United States and the presently Zionist Occupied Territory known as the Congress of the United States.

     That foundational beginning involves the articulation of a new Declaration of Independence for the people of the United States–from the Israeli Lobby. The actual enactment of the principles of this Declaration involves the following:

1. An immediate cessation of American foreign aid to Israel, all $10 billion a year, and the termination of the $30 billion in new American military aid to Israel already appropriated for the next decade.

2. An immediate demand of the government of Israel that it publicly apologize for its deliberate, premeditated attack on the USS Liberty on June 8^th, 1967, along with an insistence that Israel pay reparations to the survivors, as well as to the families of the dead.

3. An immediate dictation of terms to Israel for the legitimate establishment of a Palestinian state in the region, accompanied by apologies to the government of that new entity by both Israel and the United States for crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinians since 1947-48. The United States government would make a good faith gesture of yet-to-be-determined financial reparations to the Palestinians, accompanying the formal diplomatic apology.

4. The immediate termination of all Israeli espionage operations and networks in the United States. This forced termination of Tel Aviv’s spy network within America’s borders, would be reinforced by the public execution of Jonathan Pollard for treason, and honest trials for AIPAC’s Steve Rosen and Keith Weissman on the identical charge. An honest trial for the latter two would clearly involve the disqualification of Zionist stooge, Judge Thomas Ellis of Alexandria, Virginia, as presider over the case, and the subsequent appointment of a new venue. Ben-Ami Kadish would face a treason trial in the United States. Upon legitimate trial and secured conviction, Rosen, Weissman, and Kadish would join Pollard in receiving the death penalty, only after being allowed to receive the Julius and Ethel Rosenberg Award from the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai Brith (ADL), of course.

5. The immediate declaration of AIPAC and ADL as the representatives of a foreign government. If the Rosen, Weissman, and Kadish inquiries produce further evidence of AIPAC/ADL inspired espionage operations against the people and government of the United States, diplomatic relations with Israel would be severed, followed by the outlawing of the operation of AIPAC and ADL in the United States in perpetuity. 6. The immediate return of monetary policy to the Congress of the United States, and the elimination of the Federal Reserve Board. Fractional reserve banking would be terminated, largely along the lines suggested by Dr. Ellen Brown.

7. The immediate termination of American participation in globalist trade treaties and entities, like NAFTA, GATT, the WTO, the FTAA, the World Bank, the IMF, Permanent MFN for Communist China, the Import-Export Bank, ad infinitum.

8. The immediate enactment of policies to resurrect American manufacturing industries, accompanied by the abolishment of the Federal Income Tax, the repeal of the 16^th Amendment, and a return to "excises, imposts, and duties" as a means of raising revenues for the legitimate operations of the American government. 9. The immediate trial, conviction, and imprisonment of every member of the financial services industry in America who has stolen the innocent blind, including Bernard Madoff. Who really profited by the Madoff heist? Check out the real story, courtesy of Christopher Bollyn. And as for how to punish the bad guys, America needs to take a hint from Vladimir Putin of Russia.

     M. Raphael Johnson’s essay on Putin in the September/October 2007 Barnes Review underscores what the Western media is concealing from the people of the United States: that the oligarchs who have stolen the former Soviet Union blind since Yeltsin’s "privatization" of the Soviet economy, are almost exclusively Russian Jews with strong ties to the government of Israel and its Mossad intelligence organization. These names include Vladimir Gusinsky, Mikhail Friedman, Boris Berezovsky, Yuri Shelfer, and the infamous Mikhail Khodorkovsky of YUKOS oil fame. Khodorkovsky’s "Open Russian Institute," a lobbying organization tied to the oligarchs, has Lord Rothschild of the UK and the peripatetic Henry Kissinger, as board members. Get the picture?

     In the case of Bernard Madoff, maybe there is reason for more than a grain of hope. Let’s face it: A guy who cheats weasels like Hadassah, the pro-abortion cheerleading section of the American Jewish Congress; Marc Rich; Sheldon Adelson; Elie Wiesel; Stephen Spielberg; and Mort Zuckerman out of a few billion, isn’t all bad. Bradley Burston of Haaretz sure sees the irony. And the ADL is panicked that the rest of us might figure it all out.

     A final suggestion to my fellow populist America First conservatives is in order. With ADL-sponsored "hate crimes" legislation, draconian gun control measures, and the curtailment of First Amendment freedom of expression on the World Wide Web just around the corner for us, maybe a stint abroad in exile is in the cards.      2008 will be remembered as a year of major downturn in the fortunes of the people of the United States and the American Republic. In my next post for Al Bawaba, I will proffer the reasons why I believe the incoming Obama Administration’s mantra for "change" will prove an unfulfilled one in 2009.      No symbol of the downturn in the fortunes of an America long gone matches the May 2008 departure of my old friend, Eddy Arnold. Once dubbed The Tennessee Plowboy and America’s Ambassador of Country Music, Mr. Arnold departed this present world as a denizen of a nursing home outside of Nashville. His wife, Sally, preceded him in death by two months.

     I invite you to read the tribute paid to this great man and singer by The New York Times in the wake of his passing. His professional accomplishments are too numerous to chronicle here, but they include Billboard Magazine’s acknowledgment that Arnold was the leading country music record seller of all time; USA Today’s characterization of him as "the most commercially successful country western artist in history"; and CMT’s amazing post this past year that noted, unbelievably, that Arnold’s last RCA single, 2005's "To Life," charted after his death. Take note: with this last accomplishment, Eddy Arnold became the only recording artist in history to issue a charted single in each of seven–yes, seven–decades. Not Crosby, Sinatra, Como, Williams, Bennett, Pavarotti, Domingo, or any other singing legend that might come to mind, but a fellow from rural Tennessee born Richard Edward Arnold on May 15, 1918.

     I experienced a personal tragedy and setback right after graduation from college in 1977. Unbeknownst to me, two college friends decided to take in the Eddy Arnold show at that time at suburban Chicago’s Mill Run Theatre. The legendary singer decided to hang around after the concert, to pose gratis for photos and to sign programs. My friends mentioned to him that their own enjoyment of his live show came courtesy of my recommendation of his music and stage presence. My temporary setback was also mentioned in the context of the conversation that night in the theatre.

     Some days later, at my home in San Antonio, a manila envelope appeared in my mailbox. It had no return address. When I opened the envelope, there was a lengthy letter of encouragement addressed to me by Eddy Arnold, along with a personalized signed portrait identical to the one seen in the singer’s own study as chronicled in a media photo of the superstar taken by USA Today in 2002. The letter now resides in a safe deposit box in an undisclosed location.

     Several years later, I became a one year resident in a Lutheran seminary in Berkeley, California. That fall, the San Francisco Chronicle entertainment section listed the incoming acts for several months at Harrah’s main showroom in Reno. One of them was Eddy Arnold.

     It seemed important that I see the show. I flew from San Francisco to Reno for the day. Upon arrival in Reno, I spent most of the afternoon at the largest gun museum in the world, followed by a self directed tour of Harrah’s gambling casino, a place out of my league and element. That night, I had a front dinner table seat at the Eddy Arnold show.

     I had written a brief note of thanks to Arnold for his kind letter of 1977 before the show, subsequently slipped to a Harrah’s concierge with the assurance the singer would receive the note after the performance. After the show’s conclusion, I began following the crowd out of the showroom, noting that I had a comfortable 3 hours to kill at the Reno airport before returning to San Francisco.

     There was a tap on my shoulder. It was the concierge. I was initially startled, then dumbfounded when he indicated that Mr. Arnold was requesting my presence backstage. I followed the concierge through a maze of security and several hallways, only to surreally find myself in the singing leviathan’s dressing room.

     I do not remember how many minutes we talked that night. I do remember later departing for the airport thinking that I had been in the presence of something indefinably special that would not come my way again.

     I caught the Yellow Cab that night outside of Harrah’s, bound for Reno International Airport and a return flight to San Francisco. It was November 4^th, 1979. The cabbie’s radio was buzzing with reports of the Iranian student takeover of the American Embassy in Tehran. As the reports continued, I began to fear the outbreak of war and global catastrophe. I began thinking about all of my Iranian friends in Tehran, made during my parents’s sojourn there from 1973-78, and how incredibly dark world events had become.

     Almost 30 years have passed. The world is an even darker place than it was then. I believe that the United States will still be engaged in a military tragedy with Iran, for reasons Mr. Tourney and I will discuss this coming Sunday on RBN radio. Along with that horrific scenario, there is Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, trillion dollar budget deficits, $700 billion bank and brokerage firm bailouts, the disappearance of America’s manufacturing economy, rampant crime, and an ever seeping moral sewage emanating from both Washington and Hollywood that threatens to dwarf the souls of my countrymen.

     But the legacy of Eddy Arnold and a different America remain bright in my memory. Arnold’s now distantly recorded albums titled Thereby Hangs a Tale and Cattle Call may give your children and grandchildren a glimpse of a different time and place, and an Americana longed for, and not to be seen ever again.
