Thank you for allowing me the chance to get to know you
I am from the US. I am no one special. A nurse from the Midwest. Right in the middle of Middle America. I am getting tired of the same US perspective, spin, lies, whatever you wish to call it today. It is basically all the same, just from different perspectives: One Democratic, one Republican. I want the average person to know that the common American, myself, doesn't subscribe the current governments' handling of foreign affairs. I would never propose to go to war with anyone, for any reason. Perhaps I am naive and foolish but that is how I feel. The killing of all the Iraqis bothers me, along with the killing of Americans. Killing is killing. It ends your life.
I believe in an afterlife but I believe this life gives me an opportunity to expand my world view so as to become more understanding. Someone wise, I am not sure who, once said it is better to understand than to be understood. This is why I post my first ever blog on this site. I could have chosen a mainstream US blog site but the responses would have been predictable and I am hoping for more. I hope you will take the time to get to know me. Thank you.
