I am a Tunisian woman, born in Carhage in the late 50 and attended the French schools in Tunis. I was a big observer and listener because of our basic education. We were 7 girls and 5 boys from the same mother and father. I am number 7 and it is a lucky number for me. My Grand-mother Aisha (we used to call her Aishusha, Allah yarhamha) was the Best part of my childhood.When she visited my house, I was so happy because she was an elegant, spoiled, delicate woman in all her gestures, expressions, her walking and even her cooking or playing cards. In her prayers, my Grand-mother Aishusha was unique.She only knew 2 sourats that she will repeat and repeat and repeat...until she sleeps.

My enjoying moments were when she defy me in playing cards "called Shkuba".My grand'ma Aishusha was myope and she will expose her cards to see them; it was a big temptation for me to look at her cards.I felt cheating and responsable despite my honesty; i will never look at her cards unless to make her win (the coca-cola we played for)Grand'ma was a lover of Coca-Cola in the sixteeze.
