As promised, we are rounding up the main discussions that took place during the month of October. In part to make them available in one place, and in another part to encourage more dialogue and provide exposure to Al Bawaba bloggers.

In October, Al Bawaba welcomed Lebanese blogger Daniel Akill who commented on news items, wrote passionately about the situation in Lebanon, and criticized Osama Bin Ladin and Al Qaeda. While blogger Munaeem expressed his opinion on the state of affairs in Western academia, claiming that “in academic circles, criticism of Israel is increasingly off-limits” and quoting a CBS News article on the subject.

Along the lines of politics, Alexander James compiled a gallery of "unreported headlines" and urged his readers to stay truly informed through his blog. In The Imperialist Watch, blogger Bill published several posts about Zionist attacks on Wikipedia, a new Israeli flag in Detroit, Hugo Chavez, and other subjects.

Also in his blog Christian Zionism, Charles E. Carlson wondered " Who Is Guarding the Oil Well Guards?" and cticized the U.S policy of killing the wounded in Fallujah. In a different domain, Zgang blog published several health- related issues such as exercise, obesity and hormones, and autism.
