National Day of (Conservative, Christian) Prayer

By Steven Waldman Conservative religious groups are criticizing President Obama for what the Associated Press called his "muted" observance of National Prayer Day Thursday. "At this time in our country's history, we would hope our President would recognize more fully the importance of prayer," said Shirley Dobson, Wholesale cigaretteschairwoman of National Day of Prayer Task Force, which organizes the prayer day festivities. I think it's wonderful that groups like this are encouraging prayer. I hope they organize millions to pray this week and in the future. Cowboys assistant paralyzed after facility collapse

Irving, TX (Sports Network) - Dallas Cowboys scouting assistant Rich Behm suffered permanent paralysis from the waist down after being injured Saturday, when the team's indoor practice facility collapsed during a thunderstorm. The Cowboys released information Sunday on three staff members who remained hospitalized following the accident. The team said Behm sustained a fracture of the thoracic spine, which caused a severing of the spinal cord and permanent paralysis from the waist down.
