Yesturday, a very special friend asked me to hear this song (Don't Worry, Be Happy)- Bob Marley...
It often happens that when you hear songs, you remember a certain person, or a certain event.
The words are so simple yet for someone who needs to be happy, this can help...
Here's a little song i wrote,
you might want to sing it note for note,
don't worry, be happy
in every life we have some trouble,
when you worry you make it double
don't worry, be happy
aint got no place to lay your head,
somebody came and took your bed,
don't worry, be happy
i give you my phone number,
when your worried, call me,
i make you happy
don't worry, be happy
aint got no cash, aint got no style,
aint got no gal to make you smile
but don't worry, be happy
cos when you worry, your face will frown,
and that will bring everybody down,
so don't worry, be happy
don't worry, be happy now...
dont worry be happy
don't worry, don't worry, don't do it,
be happy, put a smile on your face,
don't bring everybody down like this
don't worry, it will soon pass whatever it is,
don't worry, be happy,
i'm not worried

Hi,
First of all, the singers name is not Bob Marley.....it's Bobby McFerrin.
Second of all, we should worry and life isn't always that wonderful.
Third of all, the singer committed suicide!!!!!!
That should put things into perspective.
Sorry about this, i had a bad day at teaching.
I hate the Yr 8s!!

Dude, lighten up!
Bobby McFerrin, alive and well and still singing "Don't worry, Be Happy".
Worry is not a productive activity, so say the psychological experts as well as the spiritual experts. In a recent clinical study, 92% of items worried about were non-items.
Give the other 8% to God.
OOOhhh - I now see you are from England. It all makes sense now...

I was also under the impression he had committed suicide but, as google confirmed, it is misinformation. None-the-less, don't let the fact that he's still alive prevent you from stressing, I'm sure even McFerrin does from time to time.

I found some of the most finest words here which are enough to make us motivated and try to live a life full of joy and full of happiness.
