Thanks to your support and feedback, Al Bawaba Blogs was able to launch two new templates that are currently available to all our bloggers. We hope you enjoy these new additions and enhancements and we depend on your feedback and suggestions to make our service to you better.

Tip of the Week: Upload a Profile Picture

We pick up where we left in our “Tip of the Week” series and this week’s tip is uploading a profile picture in your blog. If you have any suggestions or tips to be included in this series, please send them to us or just leave a comment here.
A profile picture may not sound like an important thing to add to your blog. But in fact, it is very important to upload a profile picture to your blog because that helps your readers get more engaged and it makes them identify with you. It also gives them the feel that the blogger whose words they are reading is an “actual human being” just like them.
If you are an anonymous blogger and you do not want to post any pictures of yourself in your blog, you can always choose a symbolic picture that does not give away your real identity. You should, at all costs, avoid having a question mark in the space under “Profile” in your blog’s main page!
To upload a profile picture, simply access your blog’s administrative side and go to the “Settings” tab. Then go to “User Profile” and select one of the images you previously uploaded to your folders and you’re done!

Inspired by the culture of Arabia and the beauty of the Arab horse, Al Bawaba Blogs designed and developed a new template that is simple and easy to read through. A template we call “Arab Horse” and hope you will enjoy.
More and more templates will come your way in the coming few weeks, some will be inspired by regional civilizations and others inspired by the Arabic culture as a whole. One of these templates, called “Blue Nile” is now active and can be used by any of our bloggers who share our passion for the legacy of the Egyptian civilization.
