Tip of the Week: Upload a Profile Picture

We pick up where we left in our “Tip of the Week” series and this week’s tip is uploading a profile picture in your blog. If you have any suggestions or tips to be included in this series, please send them to us or just leave a comment here.
A profile picture may not sound like an important thing to add to your blog. But in fact, it is very important to upload a profile picture to your blog because that helps your readers get more engaged and it makes them identify with you. It also gives them the feel that the blogger whose words they are reading is an “actual human being” just like them.
If you are an anonymous blogger and you do not want to post any pictures of yourself in your blog, you can always choose a symbolic picture that does not give away your real identity. You should, at all costs, avoid having a question mark in the space under “Profile” in your blog’s main page!
To upload a profile picture, simply access your blog’s administrative side and go to the “Settings” tab. Then go to “User Profile” and select one of the images you previously uploaded to your folders and you’re done!
