Did you know that the animals in the Lebanese Zoo – Animal House in Dbayye, about a mile or so from Antelias and Jal El Dib – and convicts and criminals in Lebanon’s prisons are treated and cared for better than the average Lebanese citizen? Their cages and cells are washed and cleaned, and the animals and prisoners are washed or get to bathe regularly, and given enough water to drink daily. Well, if you did, you did; if you didn’t, you do……now.

Lebanon is the only country on the planet that has a lot of water, and lots of water running through streets and in gutters, but no water in people’s homes – it reminds me of Tommy Steele’s song: water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink…let alone a bucketful to bathe or wash!

Lebanon is the only country where the average educated enlightened decent sensible law-abiding and taxes-bills-fees-dues-paying citizens pay for everything twice: they pay taxes with a neat sum added to them for the so-called resistance – resistance against change or improvement, and any who do not conform to their whims and quirks; and resistance against the rule of law and order – they pay for water thrice: once to the water company; twice for water-deliveries by tankers to their homes; and thrice for potable water; they pay for electricity twice: once to the electric company; and twice to generator-owners and operators – with another neat sum added to them for you-know-who-and-what; Etc and so forth and so on.

The others do not pay for anything – from the presiding prick, the prime moron, and the slicker-sneaker, through the ministers and representatives, down to the heads of institutions, agencies, and departments, and even lower down to their body-guards and employees and workers – domestic or otherwise – and especially the opposition.

Then we have Hezballah and Amal and their un-holy alliances, and Hezballah-Land – where a Lebanese Army helicopter was fired at for daring to land and a Lebanese Army flight-lieutenant was killed – and the Palestinian Camps…and…

WELCOME TO LEBANON – Part I – Domestic Dames Do or Die or Die Not to Do – Flee or Fly through Windows or over Balconies

Dear readers and fellow-Apes; a short sharp comment before I begin: These are obvious cases of servants employing servants – People who are born to be servants, or with the minds and souls of servants, should not be allowed to employ servants.

BEIRUT: A senior researcher at the leading Human Rights Organisation, Human Rights Watch, spoke of the need to improve the living and working conditions of migrant foreign domestic workers in Lebanon who are dying at the rate of more than one per week, and said that at least 95 women had died between 1^st January 2007 and 15^th August 2008. According to HRW data compiled from the records of the Ethiopian, Sri Lankan, and Filipino Embassies, media reports, and a select number of available police reports, 40 of the 95 deaths were classified as suicides, 24 were caused by falls from high buildings, and 2 were murders. A Nepalese domestic worker hanged herself in her employer’s house during a weekend.

No wonder! She had been locked in and left alone – house-imprisonment. Also, trust the media to quote one figure: 95, and then divide it into 40 + 24 + 2 + 1 = 67, and leave the readers to guess the rest. Also again, why no details on the 2 murders? It’s all a matter of too many newspapers and websites – not to mention too many TV-Channels – with too many journalists and reporters shoving and biting and kicking one another along trying to be the first to know and print – but the first to know and print what; the truth or the facts? Don’t bet on it. The Daily Star and An-Nahar – Naharnet – are two of my favourite sources and sites but I suppose, like all the rest, they must either shuttle or shut down.

However, the figures were not exhaustive since certain consulates and embassies of migrants do not share their information with any groups. HWR also had evidence of eight domestic workers that had survived falls. A labour attaché in an unidentified embassy told HRW that most of the deaths resulting from falls from buildings were failed attempts to escape. Now THAT is what I call a half-truth! Does that mean that some of the deaths from falls were encouraged – say by luring the poor woman or girl onto a ledge, or to an edge, or to lean out through a window – under the pretext of getting or cleaning something – and then giving her a not-so-gentle push or shove? I am willing to bet a brand new buffalo nickel on that. As for the police; as Lord Kitchener said in one of his songs: Say what you like, but it is my belief; that every policeman is a thief! Give a policeman the right incentive, and he’ll let you write the report yourself!

The HRW statement quoted a former ambassador who said: This is not an embassy. This is a funeral parlour. People die – natural deaths, accidents, suicides, MURDERS!The police do not investigate the cases in depth and when they do, they limit themselves to general questions and accept the employer's testimony without cross-checking their statements with other concerned parties, such as neighbours or the employee's family, relatives, or friends – or other domestic dames in the neighbourhood. In cases where a domestic worker survives a fall, the police often interview her without an interpreter and ignore the motives that led her to the attempted escape.

All those involved, from the Lebanese authorities, to the Embassies, to the employment agencies, to the employers, need to inquire into what is driving these women to kill themselves or risk their lives trying to escape from high buildings.

There are thought to be some 200,000 domestic dames (2008), mostly from Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, and the Philippines, working in Lebanon. A great number of these work as live-in maids and are forced to work long hours without weekly breaks or sufficient food. A 2006 survey of 600 migrant domestic workers – domestic dames – conducted in Lebanon found that 56% worked more than 12 hours a day and 34% were not allowed regular time-off. Of course you realise that these figures need to be multiplied by at least 1.5 – 56% x 1.5 = (56 + 28) = 84% and 34% x 1.5 = (34 + 17) = 51%. I would say 90% and 60% and they do not make anyone proud to be Lebanese!

According to a 2005 survey by the non-governmental organisation, Caritas Lebanon, 90% of employers retained the passports and other legal documents of their employees, seriously limiting their freedom of movement; and many workers were also forcibly confined to houses and denied regular, if any, payment of their salaries. On top of all that, Lebanese labour laws do not protect domestic workers, making them vulnerable to exploitation and human rights abuses.

HRW said that police reports usually classified cases where domestic workers fell from balconies as suicides, and that those classifications were highly suspect. They cited testimonials from survivors who had been trying to flee confinement and abuse.

Lebanon is a signatory to the International Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman, and/or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, but has not yet signed the Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families. Read: 823 / 824

In 2006, an official steering committee was established to ease or see to the problems of domestic workers. A lawyer, who was a member of the committee and who often took on pro-bono cases of incarcerated migrants, said it had three main goals: 1. To create standardized employment contracts in Arabic, English, French and in the language of the worker; 2. To publish a booklet detailing the rights and obligations of employers and employees, to be distributed at airports, ministries, and recruitment agencies; and 3. To formulate a new law for migrant workers.

But according to HRW, the committee failed to deliver or even come up with any concrete reforms. It’s high time, if not long overdue, for the proper agencies or authorities – or the Lebanese government – to step in and implement or impose the above 3 reasonable, logical, and absolutely necessary rules, or do something about this blemish on an already blemished-enough country and its silly little people.

NB: Not so long ago, on Saturday 17^th May 2008, an Ethiopian maid – domestic dame – tossed her employer’s child over the balcony and committed suicide – she jumped from the balcony to her death.

DAMASCUS: In 2003, Hiba (not her real name), then aged 11, was forced to marry her cousin. The following day she was driven from Baghdad to the border with Syria and sold to traffickers. In Damascus, she was forced to dance in night clubs or private homes. Four years later, pregnant and abandoned by her handlers, she was imprisoned by the Syrian authorities on charges of prostitution – First, force her to marry at the tender age of 11 – most definitely, she hadn’t completed her elementary education; that is, if she had gone, or had been allowed to go to school in the first place – second, sell her into slavery; third, force her to dance and into prostitution; fourth, abandon her; and fifth, arrest her later for prostitution.

When the UN High Commission for Refugees Agency found her, and to whom she had told her story, Hiba was about to be deported to Iraq; instead, they arranged for the teenager to be re-settled in Canada, where she later gave birth to a baby boy whom she named Zaman (In Arabic: time) – they always find later, they never find before or even during, and they never do anything to stop or prevent it…

Hiba’s case was far from unique. Though there are no reliable figures, agencies and activists say hundreds of people from different parts of the world are trafficked to Syria each year for prostitution, domestic work, and even for the sale of body parts. The influx of over 1.5 million Iraqi refugees into Syria has exacerbated the problem. Exacerbated the problem, or improved and enhanced the prospects!?

Currently, there are no separate laws relating to human or sex trafficking in Syria. Offenders are prosecuted under standard criminal law, which results more often than not in the victims of trafficking being punished more than the traffickers. Women and girls in particular have been detained and deported on charges of expired entry papers and prostitution.

In Syrian Criminal Law, prostitution is illegal – but it is rampant, and the best clients are the top echelons in Syrian societies and security forces – and the law stipulates prison terms for offenders of between 3 months and 3 years, or a fine of up to $115 for anyone involved in the sex industry; however, the law does not protect the rights of women and girls. The same punishment applies for women and girls, who are the victims, and the men, who are the ones forcing them into this line of work. Despite a 2006 law banning the practice, there are now an estimated 100 recruitment agencies in Syria offering young girls for domestic services. Most of the girls are brought into Syria against their will and have very few or no rights at all. That was in 2008. Today, there must be more than 100 recruitment agencies in Syria…

Trafficking for the sex and entertainment industries is also significant. Based on anecdotal evidence, hundreds of Iraqi girls have been sold for these purposes, as refugees in Syria become increasingly desperate. Girls from Russia are also said to be brought into Syria to work in the sex industry.

Perhaps this is one of the end results or purposes, aims, or goals of Syria’s and Iran’s creation and causation of wars, death, destruction, displacement, and dispersion in Iraq, and Afghanistan; and in Lebanon and Gaza via Hezballah and Hamas; I wouldn’t be surprised if there are also not a few Afghan, Lebanese, Jordanian, Palestinian and other women and girls involved in all this -- especially Iranian and Syrian women and girls. They're not going to be left out of the action since there are as much, if not much more, poverty and misery in Iran and Syria as anywhere else. This is the Syria and Iran that the world either does not see, or will not see!

BEIRUT: The US State Department has placed Lebanon on a watch list of countries that have failed to sufficiently combat human trafficking. The US-SD's Annual Trafficking in Persons Report labeled Lebanon a Tier-2 Watch-List Country, citing inadequate efforts to prosecute or curb trafficking offenses and protect victims, and that Lebanon is a destination for Asian and African women trafficked for the purpose of domestic servitude, and for women from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union trafficked for commercial sexual exploitation – in plain and simple English: prostitution. Also, Lebanese children are trafficked within the country for the purposes of forced-labour – mostly street vending – and sexual exploitation.

Lebanon's Tier-2 Watch-List position groups it with countries like the Congo, Iraq, and India

Highlighting the exploitation of foreign household servants, the report noted that many maids are stripped of their passports and papers, threatened, beaten, raped, and even murdered. Household servants from Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Ethiopia often find themselves in conditions of forced-labour…in some cases employers have kept domestic workers confined in houses for years, and that NGOs suspect that 15% of foreign domestic workers are physically abused – just wait till you read the next postings on this subject…

Noting several areas of progress and government cooperation with the Caritas organisation, the report labeled Lebanon's prosecution, protection and prevention measures as minimal and insufficient. It offered a series of recommendations including making all forms of trafficking in persons criminal offences, and ensuring that victims of trafficking are given help. Yes. Help as in raped by the police at the police station…

Speaking at the release of the report, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemned human trafficking in all its forms and said that millions of people around the world lived in bondage. They laboured in fields and factories under brutal employers who threatened them with violence if they tried to escape. They worked in homes for families that kept them virtually imprisoned. They were forced to work as prostitutes or beg in the streets; fearful of the consequences if they failed to earn their daily quotas…This is modern slavery.

They always begin by showing some scumbags with sad voices on TV screens and websites of the Media, including their own too many websites – and words on pages – that play on the ear-drums and heart-strings of the gullible naïve fools, who are soon parted with their money…

And speeches like: The bare necessities that children need are good food, good clean drinking water, good shelters, good clothes, a good education, enlightenment, play, love, protection, attention, medical-attention, supervision, monitoring, and discipline. Not too much to ask, are they? Then they show a child whom they selected, Foley, to whom I added the surname, Fully-fed from Folly-Land – Foley was the name of a real child whose photograph appeared on one of those scumbag shit-heads’ sites – poor, hungry, miserable, and helpless, but manipulated and exploited…all the same

HORSE-SHIT! And JEEZ! You notice that Foley said nothing about food or clothes because he had been well-fed and somewhat clothed just before the show or Propaganda. Imagine a child, living in poverty and squalor, and who is probably dying of starvation, saying a dumb thing like that. Ask a child like that: what’s your name? And he would reply: Fuck my name! Gimme some food…or a loaf of bread!

Someone ought to have informed Foley that God did not create Human-Apes to live in peace and love, or to be happy, or to befriend their fellow-human-Apes, and that the world and life consist of enmity, hatred, war, plague, famine, and misery. In fact, God did not create anything. Human-Apes evolved from monkeys and invented God and Satan – and both Horse-shits, Heaven and Hell – in order to have one or the other, or both, to blame for their powerful tendency to revert to their origins – large monkeys!

Children are our future. They carry our hopes and dreams for the world. But to realise these dreams – to truly fulfill their potential – children must be allowed to live in a world that is free from conflicts and that sustains and educates them, protects them, listens to their needs, and respects their rights and dignity. JEEZ! Where do these greedy heartless creatures come from and what do they take us – the sensible Apes among us, like ME – for?

What they actually mean is: Children are our future – they provide us with stable jobs and regular salaries from gobs of gullible naïve fools like you. They carry our hopes and dreams for the world – for OUR children. By God and Satan! They know what’s actually going on all over the world and what they are doing; and they pray to their God, money, that it continues to go on – they actually encourage and promote it by the little that they do – and they think and believe that we don’t know what’s actually going on – relieving the empty and soft-headed gullible fools of their money! By God and Satan again!

In most of the countries where GFRI/WTM work, 1 in 5 children die before they reach their fifth birthday; those that survive go hungry and have no chance of ever learning to read or write – remember: 1 in 5 is only an estimate; it could be 2 or 3 in 5 – and this is because: Hey! What about us? After we’ve deducted our salaries and wages and the total over-head expenses – plus a goodly percentage added for good measure – and filled our pockets and bank accounts, you realise, of course, that what’s left isn’t much to go round since, after all, because of what we’re doing – not for them, but for us, since their parents fornicate freely and have more and more children because they think and say to themselves: Hey! So long as there are fools out there to care for and look after them, why not? Well, that is how the mechanism works and how sweet the system is: To them, we are fools; to us, they are tools.

The volunteers and/or lowly-paid workers are gullible obtuse fools, too. They think and believe they are doing good whereas, in reality, they are doing a lot of bad and harm and wasting their time and their lives for nothing, because…it goes on…

Haphazard and promiscuous fornication and/or copulation without protection minus the responsibilities and obligations involved: HEY! Go ahead and fornicate or copulate as much as you want and can, because we are here to take charge of the babies and care for and look after them, with the funds they will generate for us – the money of those gullible naïve fools out there – most of which will be used in providing us with all of the above…

The millions of orphans, deserted, or discarded children will be lucky and happy with the little leftover change that trickles down to their needs, which are few: donated food; donated tents; make-shift shelters; donated discarded clothes and shoes; donated beds, blankets, sheets; some donated books, pencils, and boxes of chalk; Etc, and so forth and so on. After all, a hungry or starving child who has never eaten a meal in its life – let alone a good meal – will be happy and content with a glass of diluted donated milk and a few stale donated biscuits, or a plastic-plate of donated rice and donated beans…

In the Australia Tourism-Ad, the viewers-audience were presented with a typical Australian beauty welcoming people from all over the world, of all cultures, to join Australians on the Australian beaches, We have saved you a spot on the beach, she said. But was she really welcoming? After the events of the Cronulla Riots we must question who exactly were those spots on the beaches saved for? Was it really welcoming tourists of all countries to have some fun in the sun or should the blonde-headed – bone-headed – ironically Cronulla-born, home-grown Shire-girl be exclaiming, We have saved you a spot on the beach, as long as you are not of ethnic or Middle Eastern appearance, with a different culture to ours – as if Australia has a specific culture – so who and where the bloody hell were the tourists?

AUSTRALIAN IDENTITY

Identity was an issue that Australians have had to confront significantly over the past months, especially over the extensive media coverage all over the world due to the scandalous Cronulla Riots that took place in December last year.

Questions on whether Australia was really a multicultural country as it once claimed was true – if Australians couldn't share a beach, let alone live, as a united dignified group. At Cronulla many draped themselves with Australian flags, the idea that being Australian meant you were of Anglo decent and that anybody who didn't fit that stereotype was not welcome to join in the Australian identity. Many argued that the Cronulla Riots did not occur out of racist attitudes but merely out of disgust for bad behaviour on the beach and the lack of respect on our sandy shores. Some said that not only were the Middle-Eastern youths making disrespectful remarks and gestures to Australian women and girls but that their behaviour and attitude on the beach was distracting, obnoxious, and challenging – provoking – to the Australian peaceful and laid back life-style.

A young Cronulla local expressed her concern. She said she couldn’t normally go to the beach and wear what she would usually wear, because when she did, she felt as though she was being targeted. Whether or not the Cronulla Riots originated out of concern for merely disgust for bad behaviour rather than out of cultural or religious differences, the aftermath of the occurrences last summer saw masses of Australian youths coming together to attack, slam, discriminate against, and segregate peoples of Middle-Eastern or ethnic decent, regardless of whether or not they had any connection to the Riots, had views about them or were Australian born. Just the fact that they had a different skin-tone or colour, were wearing headscarves or – God forbid – were of different cultures. Poor God and Satan; one, or the other, or both get(s) blamed for Mankind’s powerful tendency to revert to their origins – large Malicious-Mischievous-Monkeys

There had been a significant shift on the issue of multiculturalism in Australian societies – that migrant minorities, in particular Moslems, should either Love it, or Leave it with regards to Australia. There had been considerable debate on how much of their culture did ethnic minorities have to give up before they were considered a part of Australia; when the beachside suburb of Cronulla was turned upside-down into a state of turmoil and chaos, it didn't matter whether individuals had given up their original religious beliefs or whether they had adopted Australian culture or not. Many of those that were attacked had lived in Cronulla for most of their lives and considered themselves locals with no problem at all, but from then on they were attacked and many were warned not to take public transport in the area and to remain indoors because of just the tones or colours of their skins.

There you have it. One may start a fight but one cannot dictate to one’s opponent, or adversary, or enemy, how to proceed with the fight or what weapons to use or not to use, or whom to attack or not to attack…very simple.

What originated from not a few Lebanese youths of Middle-Eastern appearance displaying disrespect and bad behaviour on the beaches of Cronulla turned into an attack on a whole culture, religion, and way of life – on Moslems regardless of whether the Lebanese youths disturbing the beaches were indeed Moslem – 43% of Lebanese in Australia were Catholic, 11.8% other Christian, and 40.2 % Moslem, more than half being Christians.

Nearly a year later (2006), Australians had not recovered from the turmoil and chaos that had shaken Sydney during the December of 2005. Many addressed the need to educate and teach Australian youths as well as the older generations that it was not a matter of tolerance that they needed to overcome, but acceptance and respect, or perhaps even love for each other, regardless of what religion, culture or whether or not one's parents were born in Australia. Australia aimed to recreate its multicultural identity and would attempt to mend any unhealed wounds that had been sustained during that anarchic period of time.

Today (2009), not only do we invite you to the beach, but we have saved you a spot, regardless of who or what you are – so long as you behave yourself and respect others’ rights to be who and what they are…and for all our sakes, leave your religion and religious symbols at home

Identity can only mean: Be yourself, who and what you are, and what you know and do; but keep your Religion and your Religious Horse-shits and Horse-farts to yourself, and only for traditional occasions and ceremonies. Have any of you out there, and the rest in here, ever seen the Red Indians, or any other people for that matter, of the USA in buckskins, moccasins, and head-feathers unless during traditional occasions and ceremonies or during the shooting of scenes for a Western or ‘Cowboys and Indians’ film…? I ask you!

Culture is good, but only if it does not interfere in a country’s law and order or in the rights of its citizens to live and go about their daily lives without temptations or provocations…In short, Culture is one’s approach to life and one’s attitude and behaviour towards one’s colleagues, peers, and fellow-citizens – fellow-Human-Apes – and how one conducts one’s self…and not one’s religion, or religious symbols…

Ignorance of Islam, widespread intolerance, and misunderstanding had left many Moslems feeling under siege in Australia – with young generations being trapped between two cultures. Why trapped between two cultures? Why did they leave their former cultures in the first place? Australia has no culture unless they mean the cultures of the original Aboriginals. Australia is a mixture of too many peoples of too many origins, and immigration is all about adopting a country, adapting to it, and integrating into the communities or societies; in short, don’t carry the shit you quit to it – the country you chose to immigrate to! When in Rome, shit Roman shit!

The spokesman for the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia, and one of the faces of Islam in Australia, who had immigrated to Australia with his family from Lebanon in 1976, told Reuters after Friday prayers that there was the element of fear. When he arrived as a boy, Australia was a very conservative and Christian nation – it just so happened that way. If Moslems had first settled in Australia, it would have been the other way round – and he was forced to hide his Islamic faith. Just let any Christians living in Islamic countries like Egypt or Iran, or especially Saudi Arabia, not hide their faith. This shit-head did not hide his faith since Australia has nothing against any faiths; he hid what he wanted to do in the MAIM of Allah and for the GORY of Islam!

Religious prejudice at the time was based on ignorance, unlike in 2007, when Moslems lived under the shadow of terrorism. Horse-shit-Horse-fart! And whose fault is that? A lot of Australians did not view Islam as modern or civilised or a religion of love, tolerance, peace. At the time, Australia was less Christian but less tolerant of Islam. Buddhism was more readily accepted because people saw it as a force for peace and spirituality.

Moslems, not only in Australia but all over the world, are under siege, under suspicion, under scrutiny, under fear, and under scorn and contempt because of the attitudes and actions of mad-moron-monkeys like Osama Shit-Bin Shit-Laden Ladin, Ayman Al-Zabri-head Zawahiri, H-Ass-an Nesa-Allah Nasrallah, Khara-led Muss-ayr Meshaal, etc, and their merciless-mercenary-mobs like Al-Qaeida, the Taliban, Hezballah, Hamas, and the other too many mindless-militias that have so far blasphemed and blemished Islam and given Islam a very bad name! The gulf between Australia's Moslem minority and the rest of the country widened, not only because of stereotypes of Islam as a religion of violence and malevolence but, by statements made by some brutish-mulish-moron-mullah-monkeys, which were denounced by many Moslems in the country as unwise and urged them to watch their tongues as the minority was living under the suspicion-and-fear-spotlight.

The Mufti, the major brutish-mulish-moron-mullah-monkey, of Australia made controversial statements on an Egyptian talk-show programme in which he mocked the convict-ancestry of many white Australians and said Moslems had a greater claim to the country – since they bought their own tickets and came as free people of their own free will, they were entitled to Australia more than the Australians. I ask you. If so, then Iran and especially Syria have more rights to Lebanon than the Lebanese, since the Iranians flew or came to Lebanon of their own free will, and the Syrians travelled to or drove to Lebanon in tanks…of their own free will. Although Moslems and tolerant Australians saw his comments as historically true, they warned that the rightists were there – lurking in the bush.

Late last year, he made international headlines when he told the congregation at Sydney's largest mosque that a woman in revealing clothes was herself to blame for sexual molestations because if she hadn't left the meat uncovered the cat wouldn't have snatched it. Horse-shit-Horse-fart again! Cats smell and snatch meat – whether covered or uncovered. Moslems that abuse, attack, or molest women and girls because of their clothes are stray mongrel cats without owners – i.e. without guidance, upbringing, education, enlightenment, or discipline…

Many young Australian Moslems struggled to find identities. At home they were told to adhere to their Islamic faith and way of life but, out on the streets, many ignorant of Islam branded them as un-Australian. And right they were, too!

A 20-year-old blond-haired Moslem, who had arrived with his family from the UAE in 1999, told Reuters that many young Moslems were torn between two cultures. If Moslems felt deeply about their faith, that was their identities, but not their countries, and that Australian cultures were not religious-based.

The Lakemba mosque, after prayers, presented an image of young, multicultural Australian boys and young men in baseball caps, board-shorts and rubber-thong sandals. Like many migrants in Sydney, Moslems, too, grouped together for support, living in a handful of southwestern suburbs. One was nicknamed ‘Little Lebanon’ due to the proliferation of Arabic signs and Moslem women shoppers in hijabs and scarves. I ask you again.

When in Rome, shit Roman shit. Why take your shit all the way to another country? But that limited interaction between a small community and the rest of Australia saw them categorized simply as Moslems, no matter where they were born; no other ethnic groups were grouped by religions – that was because no other ethnic groups flaunted their religion and religious Horse-shit and Horse-fart in the face of everyone else…as Moslems did…and do…

Experts said the monkey-media was largely to blame for portraying Moslems and Islam as evil – that is a blatant lie! A lot of Moslems portray Islam as a religion of death and destruction, and Moslems as evil. The whole world know that the monkey-media are vultures – the trick is not to leave any carcasses lying around, and mad-monkeys and their even madder followers like those mentioned above always do…

The Sydney Morning Herald reported an attack in which a 26-year-old man and two females were approached by two carloads of young men of Middle Eastern appearance who threatened the females with sexual assault outside the Woolooware Golf Club in Sydney. The man was stabbed five times after four men had leapt from a car. The man said he was knocked to the ground – there was one on either side kicking his head. It wasn't until after he’d stood up and felt blood running down his back that he knew something was wrong. He felt something in his back – it was the blade of a knife. Police said the 9.8cm blade had snapped off after the man had been stabbed three times in the back and twice in the thigh.

An Australian Associated Press report that appeared in The SMH stated that a 17-year-old boy of Middle Eastern appearance was arrested on 12^th July 2006 for the above attack in which a man was pushed to the ground…The SMH stated that on 29^th June 2006, the boy of Middle-Eastern appearance appeared in the Banks-town Local Court, charged with affray and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm upon a man who had been walking from the Woolooware Golf Club with a friend and two women. In court, the NSW Police said he had stopped to protect the women when the men rushed at him, shouting: Get the Aussie dogs…get the Aussie sluts. A Sergeant in court said: That was a joint criminal enterprise by members of a group of males who engaged in an unprovoked, racially motivated, and premeditated attack.

Another SMH report stated that a woman and her husband were driving along Canterbury Road on the night of 12^th December when they encountered carloads of men with Lebanese flags hanging out the windows and heard one man screaming: Do it for Allah!

At the same time, further carloads of young Middle Eastern men made their way to Maroubra, organised again by the circulation of SMS text messages, armed with baseball bats, crowbars and bricks, they vandalised private properties, including over 100 cars, throughout streets of Maroubra. Many residents took refuge in their homes, while others who tried to confront the gangs were attacked. A 22-year-old man was injured during the unrest – he was bashed by baseball-bat-wielding youths of Middle-Eastern appearance, who attacked his car.

The SMH stated that an Australian man was attacked by four Middle-Eastern men on 11^th Dec. All four rushed out of a car, stabbed him twice, hit him with a block of concrete, and stomped on his head and body several times before stealing his phone and keys. He suffered serious injuries, including a fractured eye-socket and nose, and two stab wounds. Two 19-year old Middle Eastern youths were charged with armed robbery, malicious wounding with intent, assault causing actual bodily harm, and affray. The SMH also reported that a Middle Eastern youth, fuelled by racial hatred of Australians, assaulted a man with a pole. The Magistrate said the youth screamed: fucking Aussie, as he attacked the driver of a car in Carlton on 12^th Dec. The driver suffered cuts to his arm before driving off. The youth was travelling with two other youths, also accused, when they stopped their car next to the victim’s car and asked him about his nationality. The Magistrate stated that the facts of the case fitted squarely into the racial vilification category by the query: what nationality are you; and that in his opinion it appeared to be violence fuelled by racists' ideation.

The SMH stated that late on the evening of 12^th December, carloads of Middle Eastern men arrived at Punchbowl Park – more than a hundred men had armed themselves with guns, machetes, baseball bats, knives, chains and iron bars…before departing they left their reasons written on the street, Aussies to die; Intifada; It’s war; Never rest, Aussie dogs; You came by chains, you convict dogs; We fear no Ozy pigs…the slogans identified the authors as being Leb or Lebanese. There were also a number of crude Lebanese flags drawn on the street. For the next three hours, all across Cronulla, Maroubra, and Brighton-le-Sands, between 100 and 200 young Lebanese men smashed scores of cars, stabbed or bashed several people, and threatened a number of women with rape.

At Maroubra, police said they found a stockpile of 30 Molotov cocktails and crates of rocks stockpiled on rooftops, as hundreds of local surfers gathered. Weapons such as iron-bars, baseball bats, knives, and even firearms were found and confiscated.

The Premier of NSW announced on 13^th Dec. that police would be given lockdown powers that would allow them to prohibit entry into specified areas. Referring to the vigilantes, he said that those criminals had declared war on Australian societies but they would not let them win. They would not take control of the streets. The police said that that kind of unrest was unprecedented in Australia. Australian media reported that mobile telephone text messages continued to call for more revenge attacks. The messages were circulated among Australians of both Lebanese and European backgrounds.

On the morning of 14^th Dec. local media reported that SMS text messages inciting further riots were sent to mobile users in other states including Victoria and Queensland.

At a carols-service at St. Joseph the Worker Primary School in Auburn, drive-by shots were fired into cars and parents and primary school students were verbally abused by men described as of Middle-Eastern appearance. Also, a total of four Churches in Sydney's South-West were attacked during the evening. The Uniting Church hall in Auburn, which is next to an Islamic centre, was set ablaze at around 1.30am (AEDT) on 15^th December.

That’s it! Smash and burn cars and churches; beat up and wound citizens; rape women; and shoot and stab to kill! That is the best and surest way to show and prove that men of Middle-Eastern appearance are not what the Australians think and say they are. SHEESH!

11^th December evening: following the confrontations at the beach earlier in the day, there were reports that a number of Middle-Eastern-looking youths travelling in groups converged at various locations in the region, in a series of apparent hit-and-run retaliatory actions. As several convoys of men of Mediterranean appearance approached the beachside suburbs at around 10:45pm, the NSW police-operations commander on duty issued instructions that their cars were not to be approached, but that registration and location details be recorded. The NSW Police Assistant Commissioner said the reason for his instructions was, they hadn't committed any offences at the time and it was about making sure they recorded details so they had all the information required. Several of the individuals concerned were held in custody that night in relation to some later events of that evening, with some ensuing charges filed a little over a month afterwards. The Superintendent-head of Strike Force Enoggera later set up to deal with the incidents said they investigated a large number of crimes that had occurred that night and he was quite confident, having around 200 car-numbers…a lot had been made of issues that weren't issues…there would be further arrests as investigations proceeded…he also noted that he was sick of the politicising of the investigations into the revenge attacks.

Through the remainder of the evening, cars and windows in Maroubra, Arncliffe and Rockdale were vandalised. Several instances of property damage at the Rockdale Railway Station were reported. A 23-year-old man was stabbed outside a golf-club in Woolooware after he had been approached by a group of men of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance.

By 1.00am the next day, reports of violence had also spread to Brighton-Le-Sands, where police wearing riot gear sectioned off Bay Street in a confrontation with a crowd of people of Mediterranean appearance. The violence then spread to Ashfield in Sydney's Inner-West, as well as suburbs in South Western Sydney, with outbreaks in Banks-town and Punchbowl. Police said 16 people had been arrested and charged with 512 offences. Those charged were from Mortdale, Cronulla, Bondi Junction, Kareela, Granville, Lugarno, Green-acre, Mascot, North-mead, Jannali, Sutherland, and River-wood. Offences included malicious damage, resisting, hindering, and assaulting police, resisting arrest, possession of prohibited drugs, offensive behaviour, violence, affrays, wielding knives in public places, and dangerous driving – all of those charged were men between 17 and 40 years of age.

12^th December: political, community, and religious leaders condemned the violence. Some politicians and other leaders alluded to underlying racism within Australian society, whilst others condemned the violence as thuggish, criminal and alcohol-fuelled behaviour. The Police Commissioner for NSW told The Sydney Morning Herald that he was ashamed at the mob-mentality of the rally. He further elaborated: the other more offensive conduct that day – the totally un-Australian conduct – was an attack on an ambulance. That brought a higher level of shame to those involved in that level of attack and they deserved to be condemned in the highest possible terms. Condemned? How about punished to the highest degree possible? The president of the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia, stated that the violence was bound to happen because of racist rhetoric on Sydney talk-radio throughout the week.

The Prime Minister condemned the riots, describing the violence as sickening, adding however that he did not believe racism to be widespread in Australia. The Federal Opposition Leader described the events as simply criminal behaviour, that's all there is to it. A police unit, Strike Force Enoggera, was established to track down those responsible for the riots, using video and photo evidence. The PM would recall the NSW State Parliament on the 15^th to increase police powers in regard to the riots. They could include the closing down of alcohol outlets and the confiscation of motor-vehicles.

There were reports of new text messages circulating that led to concern over fresh violence at Cronulla. Various news outlets later reported that around 800 people had gathered outside Sydney's Lakemba mosque that night. Residents claimed they were there to defend the Mosque against attacks from Southern gangs, as had been threatened by the white demonstrators. The crowd had started to disperse at 9.30pm, but the Seven Network reported that they then packed into dozens of cars and travelled in convoys towards Sydney's southern district, sporadically assaulting people and vandalising cars and property in Bexley and various other suburbs on their way. The same network also reported that a leaked police-incident report believed to relate to Punchbowl Park, the staging point of the convoys, stated that officers had received instructions not to enter the areas and antagonise those persons. Sure, that’s the way to do it! Leave them alone; let them do as much damage, and injure – or possibly kill – as many people as they want. After all, how much damage could they do and how many people could they injure or kill? So long as the police do not antagonise the antagonists.

An audio-file recorded from Sydney Police's radio reported further violence on the night of 12^th December – residents of Cronulla reported that several cars full of Middle Eastern men had driven into the area.

According to a report which appeared in the 22^nd January edition of The Sydney Morning Herald, one of the Cronulla residents was saved by the actions of a 24-year-old junior-rugby-league coach of Middle-Eastern appearance. The son of Lebanese immigrants, he had been among the people assembled outside the Lakemba mosque to protect it from the supposedly expected attack which did not take place. He tried to dissuade the groups from moving on to Cronulla to commit reprisal attacks to no avail. He later set off for Cronulla himself, to make sure nothing happened…he came across a local man under assault by a group of up to thirty young men, also of Middle-Eastern appearance. In security camera footage later released by police to the media, he was shown confronting the mad-mob and warding off the assaults. The victim sustained minor injuries including a hairline fracture of an arm.

That son of Lebanese immigrants was a man of Middle-Eastern appearance whose parents brought him up with guidance, advice, and discipline; and who did what was necessary, and did without what was not necessary, in order to provide him with education and enlightenment…I salute his parents once, but I salute him twice, because one can force a donkey to the river, but one cannot force the donkey to drink…

The anti-Australian, left-wing mainstream-media had a field day blackening Australia's reputation following the Cronulla Riots. If they had done their job properly they would have exposed the looming problem of Lebanese lack of respect for Australian culture, law, and order, months or even years before and perhaps avoided Sunday's confrontation. It is no wonder that journalists are so despised.

The Cronulla Riots of 2005 were a series of racially motivated mob provocations that resulted in confrontations that originated in and around Cronulla – a beach-front suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

The Lebanese problem had been simmering for years, but the media applied a code of silence. An ex-NSW detective had warned of the dangers of Lebanese criminal gangs for years and prior to that fateful day, tension had been building up for months as gangs of Lebanese swarmed on to Sydney's Cronulla Beach, jostling elderly patrons, abusing Australian families, and threatening to rape Aussie sluts for wearing bikinis. They did not come to enjoy the beach the Australian way, or in the Australian tradition; they came to flaunt their disrespect for Australian culture and flout Australian law and order.

Sunday 4^th December: Matters came to a head that weekend when two young Australian lifesavers were bashed by a Lebanese gang. A verbal exchange took place after the off-duty lifesavers had approached a group of Lebanese men on Cronulla Beach and accused them of staring at them. One of the men responded to the accusations, I’m allowed to, now fuck off and leave our beach; to which a lifesaver responded, I come down here out of my own spare time to save you dumb cunts from drowning, now piss off you scum.

Radio reports of the incident described an unprovoked assault, with Middle Eastern reinforcements called to the beach by mobile phone, after which the large group punched and kicked the lifesavers unconscious before fleeing, none of which actually happened. There’s no smoke without fire. To say that none of that happened is, to me, Horse-fart!

The Daily Telegraph newspaper also contributed with a string of provocative headlines in the days before the violence actually broke out. On 6^th December, Fight for Cronulla: we want our beach back. On 7^th December, Gangs turn Cronulla into war zone. On 9^th December, not on our beach: Cronulla police vow to defend Australian way.

A 2GB Radio broadcaster was accused of inciting the riots by fueling largely anti-Middle Eastern sentiments from callers on his talk show. He read out correspondence on air such as one advocating calling in biker gangs to Cronulla for when the Lebanese thugs arrive to which he replied: It will be worth the price of admission to watch these cowards scurry back onto the train for the return trip to their lairs. Australians old and new shouldn’t have to put up with this scum. The Hazzard report devoted 108 pages to these broadcasts from 2GB where he openly advocated and encouraged violent reprisals and vigilante behaviour against young men of Middle Eastern appearance. He was found by the Australian Communications and Media Authority to have breached the commercial radio code by broadcasting material that was likely to encourage violence, in the lead up to the riot.

Sunday 11^th December: about 5,000 people gathered to protest against recently reported incidents of assaults and intimidatory behaviour by groups of non-locals, most of whom had been identified in earlier media reports as Middle Eastern youths from the suburbs of South-Western Sydney. The crowd assembled following a series of earlier confrontations, specifically an assault on the off-duty lifesavers which had taken place the weekend before. The crowd initially assembled without incident but, unfortunately, the combination of alcohol, hot sun and a group of neo-Nazi infiltrators turned the demonstration into a raging mob. Violence broke out after a large segment of the mostly white crowd had chased a man of Middle Eastern appearance into a hotel-bistro and two other youths of Middle Eastern appearance had been assaulted on a train. There were disturbing scenes of mob violence and attacks on police and ambulance officers.

In the week leading up to the incident, the confrontation and the subsequent circulation of anonymous calls to gather at the beach spread via SMS text messaging: Come to Cronulla this weekend to take revenge. This Sunday, every Aussie in the Shire get down to North Cronulla to support Leb and Wog bashing day – and other means  were the subject of much publicity and media commentary which played a large role in raising the profile of the event as well as framing it as racially motivated.

The assembly took place after members of the local community had called for a public demonstration in response to the previous weekend's confrontation between a group of Middle Eastern men and some local Cronulla beach surf-lifesavers. Police had earlier stated that they believed the previous assault had been racially motivated. A number of demonstrators wore clothing bearing racist slogans such as We Grew Here, You Flew Here, Wog-Free Zone, Ethnic Cleansing Unit, Aussie Pride, Save Nulla, Lebs out, Fuck off Lebs, Lebs go home, No Lebs, and other such expressions were continuously shouted out by the mob.

The following nights saw several retaliatory violent assaults in the communities near Cronulla and Maroubra – large gatherings of protesters around south western Sydney – and an unprecedented police lock-down of Sydney beaches and their surrounding areas, between Wollongong and Newcastle.

Representatives from three far-right organisations were also identified handing out pamphlets, namely the Australia First Party, the Newcastle-based Blood and Honour and the Patriotic Youth League. The PYL described itself as a radical nationalist group with links to the US-based racist skinhead group Volksfront and the New Zealand National Front. The PYL had previously been linked by The Sydney Morning Herald to racially motivated attacks at the University of Newcastle. None of the groups claimed a role in organising the event.

The NSW Deputy Police Commissioner said afterwards that police believed representatives of neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups had been among the crowd. He later told the Nine-Network that they were following that up. The network later reported that one woman was pictured among the crowd holding a poster which advertised a group known as the PYL.

Throughout the remainder of the day, several more individuals of Middle Eastern appearance were assaulted. Police and paramedics leading away the victims from the riots were also assaulted by groups of people throwing beer bottles. Several dozen people were treated for minor cuts and bruises, while six individuals were evacuated under police escort to be assessed by doctors, and one was taken to St. George’s Hospital, in a serious but stable condition.

It is very easy to start a fight and a riot, and even easier to quell it – if the army and the police are prepared to use whatever means or force necessary…

Saudi Arabia's religious police were reported to have beaten and forced schoolgirls back into a blazing building because they were not wearing Islamic headscarves and black robes – the hijab and the niqab, the Black Aluminium Foils or Phantom Costumes.

Saudi newspapers reported that scuffles broke out between firemen and members of the Commission for the Promotion of Vice and the Prevention of Virtue who kept the girls inside the burning school in Mecca.

The girls were killed as the 800 girl-students at the school stampeded in an effort to escape from the blazing building. Families of the victims were angry over the deaths of the girls in the fire that gutted the school. The resulting public criticism of the religious police, or mutaween, was highly unusual. What? Were they supposed to be pleased, honoured, and even grateful that their daughters had been roasted alive – to become Virgins in Paradise?

The English-language Saudi Gazette, in a front-page report: witnesses said members of the religious police stopped men who tried to help the girls escape from the building, saying: It is sinful to approach them.

A civil defence officer told the Arabic-language newspaper, Al-Eqtisadiah, that he had seen members of the religious police beating young girls with batons to prevent them from leaving the school because they were not wearing the hijab or the niqab: Phantom Costumes or Black Aluminium Foils

They were told that the situation was very critical and did not allow for such behaviour, but they shouted and threatened, and refused to move away from the gates, and the school watchman refused to open the gates to let the girls out. The girls' lives could have been saved had they not been stopped by members of the Commission for the Promotion of Vice and the Prevention of Virtue.

The much-feared mutaween roam the streets and alleys of the conservative kingdom at will, wielding batons to enforce dress-codes and sex segregations, and to ensure that Islamic prayers are performed on time. Those that refuse to obey the orders of the religious police are usually beaten and oft-times jailed – What again? To be raped at their headquarters?

Who could, or would have, believed that any people, even Mad-Islamist vigilantes like the muttaween, could be so narrow-minded, cold, cruel, and heartless as to act in such a horrible, disgusting and despicable manner in the face of death. It is horrific that those innocent young girls perished in the Holiest city of Islam due to sheer callous pig-headed indifference on the part of the muttaween. They seem to have lost all reason and feeling in their attempt to protect the morals of Islam. God forbid that those helpless and innocent teenage girls should be seen without their Phantom Costumes, even in the face of certain death. It is unthinkable that in today's developing world, women and girls can still legally be treated so unfairly and cruelly. This is THE FUCKING TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY, for God's and Satan's sake and for crying out loud!

The fire that caused the horrible deaths of 15 helpless innocent girls and the serious burns of more than 40 innocent young girls simply because mad-merciless-moron-monkey-mullah-zealots kept lookers-on and civil-defence workers out of the school building by locking the doors, would certainly not die out…

The tragic fire became a small but sure, if slow, catalyst for change in Saudi Arabia. The government recognised the need to modernize its educational system and to revise its laws. It launched an ambitious programme in 2001 to spend nearly $7 billion to build 8,000 new schools. But chronic budget limitations and the exploding population created difficulties and forced the Education Ministry to forgo new buildings in favour of leasing schools. More than half of the 27,000 schools in Saudi Arabia are in leased facilities not designed for schools. They lack basic safety measures such as fire escapes and fire-control systems. In April 2002, a permit was granted to DSM Financial Services of New York to finance the $3 billion required to build 3,000 schools by issuing government bonds. That project would dramatically improve education for Saudi citizens and, especially, their children…

The Saudi government needed to change its negative image, and that project would be a more potent symbol of change than any advertising campaign could ever be.

It would benefit millions of Saudis whose education and enlightenment would eventually leave them less susceptible to the fabrications spread by bogus heroes and mad clerics.

That was being somewhat wise after the fact, but that doesn’t mean much to those 15 helpless innocent young girls who were roasted alive and the 40+ who were seriously burnt because they were not wearing Phantom Costumes – or their parents, families, relatives, and friends…

The UAE: Police in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates arrested a German doctor of Arab descent for performing hymen-reconstruction surgeries and abortions. According to the police, the 61-year-old gynaecologist had performed abortions and surgeries to restore torn, broken, or damaged hymens for 1,000 dollars per operation. That was cheap. They would have paid much more to revert or return to their former virgin-states!

Abortion and the virginity-operation, known as hymen-plastic surgery, are illegal in many countries in the Middle East and the Gulf where women are required to prove their virginity when they get married. The surgery is usually done under local anaesthesia.

Highly typical of the Arab Female Mentality – the Arab woman’s or girl’s mentality: she must show, or she is forced to show, a front of the pious and pure woman, girl, or maiden, while only God and his partner-in-crime, Satan, know what she does and/or is done to her.

Why bother to study and work hard to have certificates when one cannot get a good job that fits one’s qualifications? If you are so Pure, Virtuous, and Pious, then stay out of the work-force, get married, stay at home, and be a good wife and mother, otherwise…

Customers and clients need to see and know whom they are dealing with; and patients need to see and know who their doctors and nurses are. Likewise, students at schools and universities need to see and know who their teachers and administrators are and, especially, who their schoolmates and class-mates are……Etc, and so on and so forth.

DUBAI: A 22-year-old young woman couldn’t get a job as a shop-assistant in Dubai because of the veil that covered her face, exposing only her eyes to the outside world. So to improve her employment prospects, she stopped wearing the veil. No business owner or employer or management or school or university administrators – no one – would employ Phantoms or Women in Phantom Costumes. Women who cover up for their faith faced problems in getting jobs outside the Moslem world but those in the region also said they had trouble getting jobs – particularly jobs requiring them to interact with the public.

It is common to see Emirate women in the work-place, most wearing elegant robes and head coverings, but those wearing the niqab which leave only the eyes uncovered are rarely seen in front offices. The manager at a Dubai post office said that women in niqabs do not sit at counters; they hold administrative jobs, if at all, because clients need to know whom they are dealing with or talking to or paying money to and/or receiving change from.

Face veils have been a hot political issue in many countries over the rights of wearers to attend schools in secular societies or become police-women, teachers or other jobs that involve interacting with the public or students, Etc. They are particularly common in Gulf States where many women cover their faces in public, driven by conservative traditions and powerful clerics who advise (insist) that Moslem women must wear the niqab – In other words, women should be fucked and herded like cattle only but never seen. And even when they are seen, they should not be heard. Why send them to school and/or universities at all? I mean, why make her go through school and university, then order her not to let her teachers and school-mates and class-mates see her? I mean again, how do they know she is who she is or who she says she is? How will the teachers know they’re correcting so-and-so’s paper, and how will the other students know this is so-and-so and that is mo-and-mo? And how the Fuck will……even I, Daniel in the Lion’s Den, am dumbstruck! SUCH RAT-SHIT!

In Dubai, where multi-nationals keep their regional hubs, and expatriates make up a large proportion of the population, women who wear the niqab find it difficult to have jobs. A female-Ape public relations manager at Tanmia said that some companies have policies that prevent women from wearing their niqabs during working hours – banks for example – She’s damn-right they do and damn-right they are, too! How the Fuck in both Horse-shits do the phantoms expect the banks’ clients to ask for loans, open accounts, make deposits, do any deals, or make any transactions with a Phantom; you see me, I no see you? No way, José! Supposing she pockets the pesos and vamooses! She could hide the dough in her Phantom Costume – her black aluminium foils – and no one would be the wiser because no one would dare to search her, let alone catch her. I ASK YOU!

The niqab has also caused controversy in Egypt, the most populous Arab country, where an increasing number of women are wearing the veil. In June, a court ruled that a US-accredited university was wrong to bar female scholars who wear niqabs. Rat-Shit again! Egypt is one of the dirtiest and most miserable Arab country on the planet where women and girls have too little or no rights at all

In the USA – there you have it again! Only in the USA! A female-Ape immigrant from Pakistan said she planned to wear her niqab when she interviewed for jobs once she passed her medical board exams in Chicago. There are Moslem women doctors who went through the licensing process there. If you have the talent, nobody will deny you a job because you wear a veil – My dear Pakistani Bitch; that’s only because you are in the USA. And even there, the time will come when either you will show, or your patients won’t show…I hope I don’t have to explain that to you Human-Apes out there.

Another Pakistani female-Ape, a communications and marketing consultant, said her niqab had not curtailed her career. She worked as a news editor for US broadcaster NBC and ran a TV station in Pakistan. She said she had proven that a covered woman could do whatever she wanted, be successful, and be a career woman – Only in the USA. A covered woman could also commit any sin and vice under the sun and the moon and no one would know. She faced curiosity and confusion among her colleagues, but she said American laws allowed her the freedom to work and wear the niqab, with a very important drawback: She is not welcome on the screen because of her mask – niqab. So! There is a limit to what even the USA will accept or tolerate! BY GOD AND SATAN!

In the world’s most populous prosperous and advanced Moslem country, Indonesia, the niqab is a rarity. Even in the staunchly Moslem province of Aceh, where women are required to wear headscarves in public as part of the sharia, or Islamic law, the niqab is rarely seen.

A Moslem female-Ape activist who had abandoned her niqab a few years before said that in Indonesia the niqab was worn mostly by Moslems who follow Wahhabism, an austere form of Sunni Islam practised mostly in Saudi Arabia. She also said that in Indonesia, the general public sees people who wear the niqab as strange and people often tell their children to avoid them, and even suspect them of being criminals. She even added that her teacher, who had inspired her to wear the niqab, stopped wearing it.

In Turkey, wearing a simple headscarf is a struggle for women who are banned, under the country’s secular laws, from covering their heads – let alone their faces – in public-sector jobs and discouraged from doing so in the private sector as well. In many offices, the only covered women are the cleaners – and even then, only to protect their hair from dirt and dust. There are no statistics on how many women drop out of universities or the labour market because of headscarf regulations, but according to a study by a leading think-tank, 60% of women cover their heads. I wonder why they are so bent on covering their faces and forms! Don’t you?

Turkey has the lowest women’s labour force participation rate in the OECD – 27% – which activists attribute at least in part to headscarf restrictions. Girls often wear wigs to university as a compromise solution. Wigs! Do these naïve obtuse-ostrich morons know what wigs do to hair and scalps? Why they are so bent on covering their heads, faces, and forms?

A Turkish female-Ape lawyer who covers her head and therefore cannot appear in court quit her masters-degree studies because of the ban and now campaigns for the right to wear the headscarf. There was some hope that the re-elected Islamist-rooted AK Party would look to lifting the ban as it had tried to in its first term, but many suspect it would take years to overcome fierce secular opposition.
