THE RMS TITANIC – They Said Not Even God Could Sink Her; So He Did

The RMS Titanic was an Olympic-class passenger-liner, owned by the White Star Line, and built at the Harland and Wolff shipyards in Belfast, from where she was launched.

On the fateful night of 14^th April 1912, during her maiden voyage, she struck an iceberg, and sank two hours and forty minutes later – early the next day, on 15^th April 1912. At the time of her launching, she was the largest passenger-steamship in the world.

Belfast: city and seaport; capital of Northern Ireland, north-east Ireland; on the Lagan River, at the head of Belfast Lough – an inlet of the North Channel of the Irish Sea.

The sinking of the Titanic resulted in the deaths of 1,517 people, making it one of the deadliest peacetime maritime disasters in history. A disproportionate number of men died, due to the women-and-children-first protocol which was followed – Daniel: Chivalry? No! Horse-shit! The high casualty rate was due in part to the fact that she did not carry enough lifeboats for all the passengers and crew on board, even though this satisfied the regulations in force at the time! Daniel: I ask you; and there you have it! The poor men had no choice! If there had been enough lifeboats...That was a lesson too late for the learning!

The Titanic used some of the most advanced technology available at the time and was, before the sinking, popularly believed to have been described as unsinkable. It was a great shock to many that despite the advanced technology and experienced crew, the Titanic sank with a great loss of life. The media frenzy about her famous victims, the legends about what happened on board the ship, the resulting changes to maritime laws and regulations, and the discovery of the wreck in 1985 by a team led by Robert Ballard contributed to the interest in, and fame of, the Titanic right up to the present day – Daniel: A film was made about it which, in my not-so-humble opinion, was one of the top four worst films ever made, and that made a lot of money – Read: 101

Robert Duane Ballard born 30^th June 1942 in Wichita, Kansas, is a former commander in the United States Navy and an oceanographer who is most noted for his work in underwater archaeology. He is most famous for the discoveries of the wrecks of the RMS Titanic in 1985, the battleship Bismarck in 1989, and the wreck of the aircraft carrier, USS Yorktown, in 1998. He discovered the wreck of John F. Kennedy's PT-109 in 2003, and visited the Solomon Islander-natives who saved the crew. Ballard is also the great-grandson of the Old West American lawman Bat Masterson.

After the construction of the Titanic a reporter asked Thomas Andrews how safe she would be and with an ironic tone he said: Not even God can sink her! The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic

Everyone at the time thought Thomas Andrews built the Titanic. He did not build the Titanic; he only designed her. It was built……see first paragraph above

So God sent a huge ice-berg that struck the Titanic, tore her in two, and sank it; and killed Thomas Andrews, and all those other poor innocent people – 1,517 passengers, captain and crew, and sailors; not to mention the destruction of hundreds of tons of goods and other equipment and materials – only to prove to Thomas Andrews that he could sink it!? Such Monkey-Shit! The Horse refused to grant me his permission to use his shit for this shit!

The Titanic sank due partly to lax maritime laws and regulations, but mostly to gross negligence, miscalculation, and asinine carelessness on the part of the captain and his senior officers – they must have been drunk at the time, because a huge ice-berg, like the one the Titanic struck full-steam, floats along very slowly; so if the captain and his officers and crew had been a little bit more sober and alert, they could and would have avoided it! Not all of us are Etc and so forth and so on

I wonder why God has left or kept people like Osama Bin Ladin alive so far! And what about the 40,000 children, if not much more, who die of starvation every day; and the hundreds of thousands of people – men, women, and especially children – who die of diseases, wars, and natural phenomena; not to mention the millions of internally and externally displaced persons scattered all over the globe?

What about the horrors being committed against women and girls; and the heinous hideous horrors against children – especially young girls? Read: 342 / 343/ 345

The Capuchin Monks and the Capuchin Monkeys; who is mimicking whom? Since Human-Apes evolved from Large Monkeys, it is only fitting that I begin with……

The Capuchin Monkeys: also called Sapajou; tropical-American monkeys of the genus Cebus, family Cebidae, Cebidae Capucinus; to be found from Nicaragua to Paraguay; among the most intelligent Monkeys in the New World. They are named for their caps of brown, dark brown, or almost black hair that look exactly like –  resembles – the cowls of Capuchin Monks.

Now, the question that remains to be answered is: Who is copying whom, or who is mimicking whom; monkeys mimicking monks, or monks mimicking monkeys? The answer is quite simple, actually. The Monkeys came first; Human-Apes came last

The Capuchins or the Order of Friars Minor Capuchins or OFM Capuchins: an autonomous branch of the Franciscan Order of Religious Men; was begun as a movement in 1525 by Mateo Da Bascio who wanted to return to a literal observance of the rule of St. Francis of Assisi, and to introduce elements of the solitary lives of hermits – austerity, simplicity, and poverty – which, though mitigated to some extent over the centuries, has remained strict – Daniel: Today, they are no different from any of the other too many religions – mostly paedophile and/or gay Monks; the only difference is: there are no Capuchin Nuns.

The Capuchins had a rough passage in the 16^th century. They were harassed by the established groups of Franciscans and forbidden by the Pope (at the Vatican at the time) to extend, or attempt to practise or spread their sect, outside of Italy.

The defection of their vicar-general, Bernardino Ochino, to Protestantism in 1542 almost ruined them. Nevertheless, they persevered and increased rapidly and, by 1571, numbered 17,000 members.

They played as important a part as the Jesuits in the latter stages of the Catholic Counter-Reformation; appealing especially to the common and country people – Daniel: Of course you realise that this means the illiterate and ignorant people

They were allowed to expand freely from 1574 onwards (to date and on) and, in 1619, were established as an independent order.

Bernardino Ochino, 1487-1564, was an Italian religious reformer and a Capuchin Friar, a popular preacher and vicar-general of the Capuchins in 1538 and 1541. He was born in Siena. Influenced by Juan de Valdés and his circle in Naples, Ochino turned to belief in justification by faith alone, gave up his belief in monastic vows, and adopted an independent Protestantism. In 1542, he fled to Geneva from the Roman Inquisition.

At an early age, he entered the order of Observantine Friars, the strictest sect of the Franciscans, and rose to be its general, but, craving a yet stricter rule, transferred himself in 1534 to the newly founded order of Capuchins, of which he was elected vicar-general in 1538. In 1539, urged by Bembo, he visited Venice and delivered a remarkable course of sermons, showing a decided tendency to the doctrine of justification by faith. He defected and deserted the Capuchins in 1542.

Democratic Republic of Congo: New polio threat prompts mass vaccination campaign

KINSHASA: Seven million children in 9 of the 11 provinces in the DRC were being vaccinated against polio, a disease thought to have been eradicated in the vast country.

A spokesman for the UN World Health Programme said Provinces the Congo River crossed were the most threatened, and that the river was the epicentre of the disease. The DRC Health Minister said the polio threat came from neighbouring Central African Republic (CAR). The epidemiological situation evolved in the central African region with the reappearance of the wild polio virus, and the virus reached several health zones and propagated in the Equateur and Orientale provinces of the DRC.

The only unaffected provinces in the country are Kasai Oriental and Kasai Occidental.

56 new cases of polio had been recorded since 2006. According to the Health Ministry, no cases of polio were recorded at all between 2000 and 2005. Since January 2008, two cases have appeared, one in a camp for displaced people in Rutshuru, in North Kivu; the other in Oriental Province – Daniel: No cases of polio were recorded at all means no cases of polio were reported at all, but doesn’t mean no cases of polio at all

The campaign, which began on 19^th June, targeted children up to the age of five, the age group worst affected by polio. According to the WHO, some infections led to irreversible paralysis, according to the WHO.

Poliomyelitis: an infectious viral disease, commonly called polio that sometimes causes temporary or permanent paralysis. The infection chiefly affects children and young adults. More than 95% of polio infections produce no noticeable symptoms or mild symptoms that last only a few days. In the remainder, the virus enters the nervous system and infects nerve cells that control muscles. It can then cause paralysis, most often of the legs. In its most dangerous form, the polio virus attacks the brain, creating complications that sometimes result in death. Because of the prevalence of polio among young children, it was sometimes called infantile paralysis

Polio once ranked among the most dreaded diseases in much of the world. The disease most often struck in the summer and early autumn. Fearing infection, many people avoided beaches, public pools, theaters, fairs, camps – any place of public gathering. Occasionally, schools were closed until epidemics had subsided. The fight against polio represents one of the great medical success stories of the 20th century. The introduction of vaccines against polio in the 1950s, along with successful vaccination programmes, virtually wiped out polio in developed countries. Vaccination efforts continue in developing countries of Asia and Africa.

The polio-virus spreads in human faeces (or human shit); people become infected with the virus through contaminated food and water, especially in areas where sanitation and hygiene are poor. Improper sewage disposal, for example, can contaminate the soil and the water supply.

Sixty-three million children to be immunized across 10 countries as Nigerian outbreak threatens African success story

A month after an emergency meeting of Health Ministers committed to end polio transmission in 2004, most African countries responded with a massive and highly synchronized polio immunization campaign, aiming to vaccinate 63 million children over the next few days. From 23^rd February, 10 countries would begin simultaneous polio immunization campaigns, targeting 63 million children in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Togo.

Political, religious and traditional leaders would team up to launch the activities, and tens of thousands of vaccinators would go from house-to-house to administer the vaccine directly to every child.

In the previous months, polio had again spread across west and central Africa, paralyzing children in seven previously polio-free countries – mostly in the Central African Republic – and putting millions more at risk. But the Global Polio Eradication Initiative said that if upcoming campaigns over the following several months reached every child, polio in Africa could be stopped in its tracks

Nigeria’s suspension of immunization campaigns in key northern states, and in Kano in particular, remained the greatest challenge, and the greatest opportunity, for a quick end to polio in Africa. Until mid-2003, Nigeria had been part of Africa’s polio success story, with only a few northern states still endemic with the virus and Lagos, Africa’s most densely populated city, polio-free for over two years.

The suspension of immunization campaigns in Kano and the subsequent outbreak of polio in that area had been fuelled by unfounded rumours about the safety of the polio vaccine. This was in stark contrast to the substantial support polio eradication had received from scientific and religious groups, and multilateral institutions around the world.

In October 2003, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) unanimously resolved to eradicate polio by the end of 2004. Further to this commitment the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced the first pledge of what would be a multi-million dollar contribution by Islamic Gulf countries.

The Global Polio Eradication Initiative was spearheaded by the WHO, Rotary International, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and UNICEF. The poliovirus was circulating in only six countries, down from over 125 when the GPEI was launched in 1988. The six countries with indigenous wild poliovirus were: Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Niger, Afghanistan and Egypt.

Daniel: the joke, and the irony, was that, Islamic Countries resolved to eradicate polio while Islamic Concepts and Islamic Clerics refused to accept or submit to vaccinations.

BAGHDAD – Fears grew in the Northern Province of Ninevah, about 400km north of Baghdad, of a possible radiation leak and contamination from a former nuclear plant.

According to two local officials, the plant had been built in the early 1980s by a group of European and Russian companies for the government of former president Saddam Hussein, and was suspected of causing a number of cancers and deformities – bulged eyes, arthritis, loss of hair, and changed skin colour – in babies and adults – a number of which had been registered in the area.

The abandoned Edayah nuclear plant about 35km west of Mosul, Ninevah's provincial capital, was looted by locals about four years ago; some of its radiation-contaminated materials were sold in the local market as scrap. Iraqi teams fenced off the nuclear site on 23^rd September and started dumping all its recovered materials there. They expected to complete the work and stop any further radiation.

The health and environment committee had made appeals in the media for residents to return any looted materials, held a meeting to raise awareness, and erected warning signs near the site.

The Edayah nuclear facility had been bombed by US-led forces in the 1991 Gulf War. Later, it was frequently visited by UN weapons inspectors who ordered its closure and the burial of all parts and equipment.

However, during the chaos of the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, locals dug up the site, stole, and sold the previously buried items on the market. Tests conducted showed they contained uranium hydroxide and other radiation materials that were sufficiently radioactive to pose a risk to human health.

Daniel: Saddam was not the sort of despot-dictator who would let it be or let it go; just like that; he would have, he must have, built other nuclear plants. They were dismantled and the main parts, equipment, and materials, were carted off in trucks across the borders into Syria and Iran. Obvious! Also, UN weapons inspectors visited the site several times and yet they later said there was no evidence of WMDs or signs of any attempts at building any. The shit has been uncovered and exposed, and we now wait to see, hear, and read how they are going to explain the smell. Read: 33

BEIRUT: Lebanon's most senior Shiite-Moslem Cleric, Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah, issued a fatwa, or a religious edict, banning honour killing, and calling the custom and method of murdering or mutilating a female relative for sexual misconduct a repulsive act. He said that he viewed honour killings – in which men killed their daughters, sisters, wives or female relatives on the pretext that they had committed acts that insult chastity and honour – as repulsive acts that were condemned and prohibited by religion - Islam.

The fatwa was a rare condemnation of the practice by a prominent top-cleric, and was issued in alarm over reports on an increase in honour killings. Ayatollah Fadlallah is the most revered religious authority for Lebanon's 1.2 million Shiites – Daniel: He’ll probably either be killed or disappear; for saying the truth and trying to stop these Heinous Hideous Half-brained Horrors, that are committed by Male-Arab-Apes to hide or erase their own crimes – read: 437

Honour killings or crimes are rarely reported in Lebanon or in any other Moslem-Arab or Arab-speaking countries, and there are no official records or figures, but Fadlallah said the phenomenon had reached a dangerous level.

Honour killings or crimes had been reported previously mainly in Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, and Iran. Most Arab governments kept silent on such crimes because they did not want to anger tribal and religious leaders in their countries.

In the poorer and therefore more traditional sectors of Middle East and Arab-Moslem societies, women are often seen as bearers of a clan's or sect’s honour and any sex out of wedlock, or sometimes even just dating, was seen as an indelible stain on a family's reputation and honour that could only be cleansed with blood.

While such killings were illegal in Arab countries, perpetrators often went unpunished or received light sentences from courts.

Religious condemnation of the practice is rare and the office of Lebanon's top Sunni cleric said he did not recall any such a fatwa being issued in the past, while religious leaders in neighbouring Jordan have also remained silent on the issue.

The practice has come under particular scrutiny in Jordan, where it was estimated that no fewer than 20 women and girls were honour-killed by their male relatives every year, prompting international rights organisations to appeal to the country's ruler, King Abdullah II – Daniel: Don’t forget to multiply 20 by 5 and to divide every year by 5.

The Jordanian government has urged judges to consider the killings as homicides and punishable by up to 15 years in prison; however, many courts still hand down lenient sentences for those kinds of cases – Daniel: 15 years in prison!? MARINA, Egypt – Islamic hymns fade out, giving way to Arabic pop music as women remove their hijabs and niqabs – phantom costumes or black aluminium foils – to reveal bikinis or one-piece swimsuits at a religiously correct beach for women only – Daniel: Religiously correct!? Tell it to the Human-Male-Apes peeping through the branches and leaves! They’ll have to assign policemen to patrol the perimeters of branches and leaves on three sides; and police patrol boats on the sea – equipped with binoculars, no doubt. And who will watch the watchers of the watchers of the……

Welcome to La Femme, the Woman, in the posh Marina Resort, where women can lounge on sun-beds, tan, join in a daily belly-dance contest, or breast-feed their babies; shielded by barriers of palm tree branches from the prying eyes of men. The branches even stretch into the Mediterranean Sea to give maximum shelter to the women, who have faced the constraints of growing conservatism in this mostly Muslim country.

One Cairo resident – a female-Ape – in her 60s, said she sometimes turned and looked around to make sure there are no men – or to see whether there are any. And, thank God – or damn it – there aren't any – Daniel: Even if there were; no Human-Male-Ape would look at a Human-Female-Ape in her 60s.

Most of the bitches on the beaches are upper-class who can afford to dish out $14 or $9E on weekdays and $16 at weekends for the privilege of entering the gated beach club to preserve their modesty – Daniel: Gate-men, or gate-women, too?

A growing number of Egyptian women from all walks of life have opted for strict Moslem guidelines such as wearing scarves to cover their heads and conservative clothes with high necklines and long sleeves.At mixed beaches where women and men are allowed, many girls shield themselves by wearing so-called sharia-Islamic-law swimsuits that cover them from the neck down to the ankles and look more like diving suits – Daniel: JEEZ! Why bother to go to the beach at all?

The only moments of concern is when young men riding jet skis try to inch their way closer to the coast to sneak a view of the women – Daniel: I told you!

To ensure the women's sanctity – only on the beaches – guards at the entrance to the club search all beach-bags to keep out any cameras that could be used to take pictures of bikini-clad bathers that could end up on the Internet – Daniel: Male guards?

La Femme is not the sole women-only beach to make a brisk business in Egypt. The first of its kind, Yachmak, was opened in 2004.

According to a Human-Female-Ape sociologist, Egypt is gripped by a religious hysteria and Beach-Clubs like La Femme and Yachmak reflect the general mood in the country where some 80% of women and girls wear phantom costumes – black aluminium foils.

Egypt was once was one of the most liberal Arab countries and the first to give women a franchise in 1956.

But after an increase in religious conservatism in recent decades – the key opposition group is now the Islamist Moslem Brotherhood that promotes the sharia – bare-headed women have become a small minority and many of them are Coptic Christians, who account for only a slice of the country's 80 million people.

Officially, however, wearing the head veil is not required, as it is in strictly conservative Moslem nations such as Saudi Arabia or Iran. Many women themselves say they seek out segregated beaches like La Femme out of religious considerations, but they have their critics.

A security guard posted a few yards outside the Beach-Club argued that such places catering to the whims of women were just another form of decadence; and that those women should fear God, and not men. He also asked why they could not keep the belly-dancing for home and family events. A motorist agreed – Daniel: What Monkey-Shit! God is not going to come down from wherever He is to…Surely they do not believe that Jesus was really the son of God!? JEEZ! THANKSGIVING: The Day on Which Americans Give Thanks – to Whom and for What?

Thanksgiving, also known as Thanksgiving Day, is a harvest festival. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. It is primarily a North American holiday which has generally become a national secular holiday with religious origins – Daniel: It is funny how religion always manages to snatch anything to do with money-making – celebrations, ceremonies, or festivals – and claim them for its own.

The dates and whereabouts of the first Thanksgiving celebration are a topic of modest contention. Though the earliest attested Thanksgiving celebration was on 8^th September, 1565 in what is now Saint Augustine in Florida, the traditional first Thanksgiving is venerated as having occurred at the site of Plymouth Plantation, in 1621.

Today, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Thanksgiving dinner is held on this day, usually as a gathering of family members.

Also, give thanks to Whom and for What; to God for a good harvest? HORSE-SHIT; if you tended your crops well and if it rained as it should, you would have a good crop, if you didn’t and it didn’t you wouldn’t! Also, rains do not come from God, so you should have reserves of water in huge tanks – just in case. Let me tell you a story…

An old and wise veteran-farmer wanted to plant particular trees of which he had no seeds, so he went to visit his neighbour who had some. In many ancient cultures a single event, the Festival of the Dead, lasting for up to 3 days, was held at the end of October and the beginning of November; examples include the ancient Persians, the ancient Egyptians, and the ancient Romans. In the Inca religion, November was Ayamarca, which meant Festival of the Dead.

Today, the Festival of the Dead is held by many cultures throughout the world – the Peruvians, the Hindus, the Pacific Islanders, the people of the Tonga Islands, the Australians, the Japanese, and the northern nations of Europe – in recognition and in honour of deceased members of families or communities; generally occurring after the harvest in August, September, October, or November. In Japanese Buddhist custom the festival honoring the departed spirits of one's ancestors is known as Bon Festival.

The most popular Pagan festival, in ancient times as well as in modern Pagan societies was/is Samhain. Today, Pagans see Samhain as a time to honour the dead – not as the dead, but as the living spirits of loved ones; and as guardians who hold the wisdom of mankind. It is a celebration of the after-life where Human-Apes do not die but rest and continue to learn and prepare for their next incarnation.

In de Bello Gallico, Caesar said that the cardinal doctrine which they sought to teach was that souls did not die but, after death, passed from one to another: Reincarnation. That view of death was a less fearful image or idea than simply not existing anymore. By observing nature’s cycles of birth, death, and rebirth the Ovate could apply natural laws and herbs toward the healing of the human body and psyche.

Samhain – HALLOWEEN – today

Today, children in painted-skeleton costumes, frightful or grotesque grinning masks; outfits that represent demons and hobgoblins; black witch-attires with long pointed black hats; and other grotesque costumes; go to homes decorated with Jack-o’-lanterns and other strange adornments, from door to door, asking for treats from, or lightly threatening tricks to, compliant neighbours – who would rather spend a quiet evening.

Tricks like: splashing soap on windows; wrapping toilet paper around trees; chalk-marking porches and pavements; bending or bruising, or actually uprooting, plants; and other such supposedly harmless pranks that, in fact, amount to vandalism.

FALSE HALLOWEEN MYTHS

Halloween Myths invented and perpetuated by Human-Apes with false Christian ideas of horrific and mythical forms of Satanism and Human-Apes that have seen too many horror movies

1: The Pumpkin-God, Samhain – pronounced Sam’hane

2: Pagans sacrificed/sacrifice babies and/or animals on Halloween. The Wiccan Rede states: Do what you will, but harm no one

3: Pagans worship Satan or the Devil on Halloween

4: Pagans are Satanists

MYTHS

 1: Ancient stories: traditional stories about heroes and/or supernatural beings, meant to explain the origins of natural phenomena or aspects of human behaviour

2: Idealized conceptions: sets of often idealized or glamorized ideas and stories around particular phenomena, concepts, or famous persons

3: False beliefs: widely held but mistaken beliefs; like exposing and exploding some of the myths about dieting

4: Fictitious persons or objects: people who, or objects that, are fictitious/ nonexistent, but whose existence are widely believed in – mostly by illiterate and ignorant Ass-holes

To Holier-then-ye Christians who say Halloween is a Pagan Rite; it was, but no longer is. Halloween is now a Christian Catholic Holiday: All Hallow's Eve; celebrating and honouring the Dead and the Dead Saints of their faith – All Souls Day and All Saints Day – a pagan holiday dressed in or camouflaged by Christianity.

Who says letting one’s child dress up as a demon or a ghost is wrong? I say: Let the little goats, the kids – that’s children in good and proper English – follow the herd instinct or the pack of Monkeys and enjoy themselves. Why spoil their fun and/or ruin their childhood? They’ll grow out of it soon enough – just as every child grows up and leaves Santa Claus behind; discarded and tossed into the bush or a gutter along the path of life – reality.
