This is A MESSAGE for Christians and Moslems in particular, and the peoples of any and all Religions and Beliefs in general; all over the world – of any and all sects or cults and any and all religious denominations – past, present, and future.

To those of you out there who might think (and believe) and say I am an Atheist, or an infidel (Kaafer), or a blasphemer; I say: “I do not believe in God the kindly old man with pure white hair and a pure white beard who is all-merciful, all-compassionate and all-forgiving. What I believe in is my concern; and in any case, what U believe in is too awesome, too omnipotent, and too omni-scient to be associated with such a silly notion.

Upon that ‘day of judgment’ which all clerics and gurus – Buddhist, Judaistic, Christian, Moslem, Hinduism, Etc – brandish like a sword over our heads in order to convince or coerce us to dip deeper into our pockets and put more money into the collection-tray (they no longer use trays; they now use large and light plastic buckets because they hold more and are easier to carry), I shall see what I shall see and face what I shall face – alone, undaunted, unwavering and unflinching! In fact, I shall stand and face whoever and whatever, not as the Accused but, as the Accuser! Read 505

Dear readers and fellow-Apes; this is by I, myself, and me, so when I refer to my late beloved Mama and Papa; I mean my late beloved Mama and Papa. BY GOD AND SATAN AND BOTH HORSE-SHITS!

There was a time, once upon a time, when I did not only believe in GOD, but in Santa Claus, too. Santa Claus was exposed to me early in my life. He turned out to be my late beloved Papa. I was 5 at the time. It was Christmas Eve, and I was supposed to be fast asleep, but I wasn’t. Boys will be boys. I caught him putting on the outfit and the mask. He saw the look of surprise and shock in my face, so he sat me gently on his knee and explained it all to me. My late beloved Mama heard the commotion and joined us and tried to help, because even at that tender age, I understood how it was he all along who worked hard and struggled to provide for us while my Mama cared for and looked after us and our home. I was very angry, and I blamed him and my Mama and the rest of them for letting that Imaginary Rabid and Senile Old Goat take all the credit for it. I cried very hard all that night and would not be consoled, and I refused to receive my X’mas presents until after my Papa had taken off the ridiculous costume and mask, and put on his pyjamas. By then my Mama had made me a cup of hot chocolate with milk.

As for GOD; he was exposed much later in my life. It was on a dark and rainy Monday morning during Religious Studies class. I was about 15 at the time but, even then, my mind was as sharp as a Bushido Sword. I asked the teacher, who was also the local vicar:

“If God at first created Adam and Eve, and we are all descended from them, then where did the Africans with black skins, thick lips, and wooly hair; the Asians and Chinese with yellow skins, round faces, and slanted eyes; the Red Indians of North America; the Eskimos; the Aborigines of Australia, Pygmies, Dwarves, Etc, all come from?” He explained it to me, and since then I have looked for explanations of the explanations of the explanation. HORSE-SHIT; THE LOT!

That teacher-cum-vicar thought he’d gotten away with his explanation -- which was full of lies, chacanery, and vague contradictions and vagaries -- gotten the better of me, and gotten away with it. He did not know me very well, did he?

During Friday’s Religious Discussion class I launched my next attack: “If this is a class for Religious Studies, why are we studying Christianity only? Did you know that there are students of at least two other Religions, Islam and Hiduism, in the class?” His answer was: “Each to his own kind, and each to his own religion, Daniel.” I told him: “But we did not choose our religion; we were born into it. Have you, the Christian vicar, and we, the Christian students, no respect or thought for the others’ feelings? What would we feel like if you were a Moslem Sheikh or a Hindu Guru, and we were discussing Islam or Hinduism only?” His answer: “Well, Daniel, thank God I’m not, you’re not, and we’re not.” He expected the rest of the class to laugh at what he thought was a very clever, sharp, and funny retort, but they didn’t. They could see nothing clever, sharp, or funny in the situation. My next question was: “If we are to believe in The Bible which, in my not-so-humble opinion, is a book of the Jews, by the Jews, for the Jews; and has nothing to do with the rest of us – and/or most other religious books, booklets, and pamphlets –

First: GOD made or created Adam and Eve out of dust, knowing fully well that dust is the worst and weakest possible material anyone (or any GOD) could use to create or make anything (ask any chemistry student) – let alone living, breathing, walking, talking, but unthinking and unknowing APES!

Second: HE made or created Adam and Eve whole – as Man and Woman – and fully naked, too, to boot. I ask you! Then HE tossed them into – actually imprisoned them in – A Garden of Eden and told them everything in there was theirs but warned them not to touch or even go near The Tree of Knowledge let alone eat its fruit of see-all, know-all, understand nothing. Wasn’t HE supposed or required to have given them a small mind at least to discern right from wrong? AND! Knowing fully well that they were illiterate and ignorant – they hadn’t yet eaten the fruit – HE did not bother to assign an angel to guard The Tree and watch over them! No average decent sensible parents would ever leave their children alone without a nanny or at least a baby-sitter to watch over them – to prevent them from sticking their fingers into electric sockets, playing with matches, touching or breaking objects, drinking any toxic liquids, or plain fighting and hurting themselves, or watching the wrong programmes on TV Etc.

Third: HE did not tell them about or give them HIS Ten Commandments from the onset – they wouldn’t have understood them or known what HE was talking about anyway – they hadn’t yet eaten the fruit. They had to wait for thousands of years for Moses to come; then wait for decades for Moses to free them from Egypt, The Land of Bondage; then much later, go up the mountain and spend or waste (40) days writing them down.

Fourth: The very first mistake or sin this poor miserable couple made or committed, HE kicked them out of The Garden and assigned an angel, this time,  to drive them out into the jungle or wilderness – alone, naked, and helpless! Mind you, according to The Bible, they were the very first humans, so there were no other humans on the planet at the time; only the beasts. I wonder if HE had created the dinosaurs by then or long before then (that is another story or topic for another day)! And they say HE is kind, merciful, compassionate, and all-forgiving! I ask you again! If HE had given them a little mind or sense in the first place, and if HE had taken the necessary precautions in the second place, like assigning an angel to guard them and the tree, they wouldn’t have done what they did and we all wouldn’t be where we are today. AND! Later, HE had the nerve and the gall to tell them or US: “Dust thou art; and to dust thou shalt return!” TOO MUCH! BY GOD AND SATAN AND BOTH HORSE-SHITS!

DO ALL THESE MAKE ANY SENSE TO ANY OF YOU OUT THERE OR IN HERE? Is God, or was God, such an incompetent and inefficient manager of his own creation?

If GOD made or created US, then HE is supposed or required to prove and justify OUR existence, and tell US who WE are; where WE came from; why WE are here on this miserable and extremely fragile marble, this doomed puny planet, earth, in the vastness and awesomeness of the universe; what WE are doing here: and where WE are going from here; AND! Defend and protect US. BUT! If Human-Ape made or created or invented GOD, then all is as it ought to be.

Let us pause for a while and spare a thought, but not a prayer or a wish, since prayers are for fools and people who are naive, and wishes won’t wash the dishes or pay the bills or put food on the table – or on the ground, for those that have no homes or tables! Yes! Let us spare a thought and a dime or a penny for the 40,000 children that die of starvation every day; and the billions of people that have died, and are still dying; from Man-made wars, Man-made weapons and other tools, instruments, and war-machines; Man-made accidents by Man-made vehicles and means of transportation; Man-made diseases, pestilences, and plagues – bacteria and viruses do not come from the thin air; they come from decomposed or decomposing corpses and rotten or rotting rubbish or garbage; and faeces, urine, and other body-wastes and toxic chemicals -- and they mutate or evolve -- all Man-made; and natural phenomena or disasters, which have become more violent and frequent because of MAN, and his tendency to destroy or misuse or over-use nature’s resources; BUT; which are all attributed to or blamed on A MAN-MADE GOD!

NB! All of the above are not due to the indifference or negligence of the advanced countries – the third world, or backward countries, blame the advanced countries and accuse them of the above; they expect these countries to share the results of decades of hard work and prudence with them – or to any other reasons or causes, but due to Mankind’s powerful and irresistible tendency and inclination to breed like rabbits, thus creating over-population, which in turn creates poverty, and which in turn creates frustration and desperation, Etc; and Mankind’s envious, greedy, selfish, vain, vicious, vindictive, cruel, malicious, and mischievous nature – in other words; his natural and irresistible tendency and inclination to revert to his origins: APES, or large monkeys!

Germany and Japan were down to the ground – so to speak – and the USA, Britain, and France, Etc, were not much better off after World War II; but today, they are prosperous and considered World Powers. And they and the Oil-rich countries do what they can to help them. Also, it was MAN who thought of and created organisations like The Red Cross and Red Crescent, UNICEF, Caritas, S.O.S, and all the other various Humanitarian Organisations. In other words; ever since MAN first appeared on earth up till now and henceforth, MAN only can either kill or maim; or protect, defend, help, and sustain, MAN; not GOD! BY GOD!

To those of you out there who might want or decide to ask: “So what is your point?”

I say my point is: “Since we do not choose our religions as they are forced upon us by the circumstances and the geographical locations of our births; and since MAN is a creature of habits, the product of his environment, and the victim of his circumstances; no people should ever take their religion or sect/cult too seriously or to extremes; and no people should ever presume to be, or adopt or usurp the positions or posts of, or pretend to be, the defenders and protectors of their individual or collective GODS, and attempt to justify THEIR existence or non-existence – most of them use that as a reason and an excuse to coerce, con, dupe, intimidate, manipulate, convince and/or exploit others to serve their own whims and quirks or aims and goals; and if that fails, kill them.”

Let the GODS fight THEIR own battles, and defend and protect THEMSELVES, and justify THEIR presence and/or existence; if THEY can!

An Almighty, Ultimate, and Omnipotent GOD WHO could create the universe and all life-forms, and yet requires or needs, or even orders or instructs MEN – puny mortals, and weak but wicked worms – through the too many religious and other leaders and clerics, to defend and protect HIM, and to prove and/or justify HIS existence, does not make any sense to me – not a single iota of sense – at all!

So ENOUGH OF THIS HORSE-SHIT OF JIHADS AND CRUSADES AND OTHER LAME RUSES AND EXCUSES TO FIGHT WARS AND KILL ONE ANOTHER IN THE NAME OF GOD!

BEIRUT: Karim Pakzad, a French Socialist Official representing the French Socialist Party, who was attending a two-day Socialist International Conference in Beirut, and who only wanted to see the capital city of Lebanon at the end of the meeting, was blindfolded, whisked away to an unidentified location, detained and kept isolated for hours, and later questioned or interrogated by members of the Lebanese Shiite Hezballah movement near Beirut's International Airport. Karim Pakzad had been taking pictures of a mosque and Hezballah posters on the road leading to Beirut International Airport when he was detained along with a companion and interrogated for hours before they were both released. His captors took away his cell-phone, his wallet, and his medicine. A Hezbollah official actually confirmed and acknowledged the incident, saying he had been detained and interrogated by the group because he was taking pictures near the house of a Hezbollah Official, and without prior permission from Hezballah’s Press Office.

Lebanon is currently divided between the anti-Syrian governing majority and the Hezbollah-led opposition. The country has been without a president since November 23 because of the political deadlock between the two sides.

Meanwhile, Lebanon's Shiite House speaker Nabih Beriberi Berri, a close ally of Hezballah on Saturday gave 13^th May as the next date for parliament to convene to elect a new president, and which he will postpone again upon orders from Syria and Iran.

The article or report does not say whether his cell-phone, his wallet, and his papers were returned to him.

They did not check his ID or Passport and/or papers on the spot; they arrested him (literally and practically) and did all that to him just to find out if he was French. This is what you get when you gather together a horde of illiterate and ignorant rats under your banner and let them loose while you hide in your rat-hole! To them the house of an official, Hezballah posters, and posters showing Hassan Nesa-Allah Nesrallah are all military installations.

Did Walid Jumblatt say: “Hezballah is a state within a state?” Well, my dear Walid, that was true before, but not any more. Hezballah and Amal today are the State of Iran within the State of Lebanon and Beirut is now half the capital of Iran, and soon it will be the 50/50 Capital of Iran and Syria, temporarily, until Iran decides to do away with Syria and make it the full capital of Iran in Lebanon.

TEHRAN: Iran's top national security official, Saeid Jalili, held talks yesterday with his Russian counterpart, Valentin Sobolev, on a newly proposed Iranian Package aimed at solving world problems, including the nuclear standoff with the West, but which would not yet be made public.

The package appears to emphasize what Iran sees as its growing power in the world and the supposed decline of the great world powers such as Britain and the United States. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has repeatedly said in recent weeks that Iran is the most powerful nation in the world and major capitalist powers are on the verge of collapse.

So this is what it was all about! Hatred and enmity toward the USA, Britain, and the West in general! And for what and why; for intervening and saving (invading and liberating, since no country could liberate another country without first invading it) a country, Kuwait, and later Iraq, from the late un-beloved and un-lamentable mad despot-tyrant-dictator, Saddam Hussein, and for going after a mad-man; a Mockery of Moslems and a Mauler and Mutilator of Islam, Osama Shit-Bin Ladin; and to hell with Iran and its resources and its people! BY GOD!

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appointed his close ally, Saeid Jalili, as secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council in a surprise move last year, replacing the more moderate, reasonable, fair, sensible, judicious, restrained, Ali Larijani.

Dear fellow-Apes; of course you realise what this means: replacing Ali Larijani with the mad, unreasonable, unfair, senseless, injudicious, and reckless Saeid Jalili means war, and means Ali Khara-menei and Mahmoud Hitler are determined to take Iran and the Iranians, and their blood and life-blood, to the edge of the abyss and plunge them into chaos and havoc and eventual annihilation! Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of jobless homeless aimless Iranians roam the streets of Teheran and hundreds of other cities, towns, and villages; and crime, violence, drug-addiction, alchoholism, Etc, and prostitution have become rampant in the country.

THE GOVERNMENT AND THE OPPOSITION, AND A NATIONAL UNITY GOVERNMENT, OR SHARE AND SHARE ALIKE! Running a country is not a marriage between two equals; it is Gardener and Watchman. One tends the Garden and the other watches him and the Garden; and when the Watchman wins the next time and becomes the Gardener, the roles are reversed or switched. SIMPLE!

First of all, let me make one thing perfectly clear: Lebanon was not Emile Lahhoud, or any of the Donkeys that desecrated Baabda Palace and converted it to a Stable for Donkeys or a Donkey-Stable. Lebanon was not Rafiq El Harriri or any of the Political Leaders. Lebanon is not Fouad Saniora. All of those and these are mere mortals and the Lebanese people cannot and must not associate Lebanon with Apes whose life-times are but short sweet dreams. So ENOUGH OF THIS HORSE-SHIT!

A National Unity Government means Indecision, Inaction, and In-Nothing-can-or-will-be-done for the good of the country and its people, but with In-More-Pockets-To-Fill.

These Syrian and Iranian Moles, Rats, Jackals, Hyenas, and FIENDS aren’t part of the government yet and look at the sort of hindrance and damage they are doing to the country and its people! What will they do when they become part of it with authority?

Whoever heard of the Opposition sharing power with the Government? Impossible! Not even in Lebanon!

In Democracies, the Majority rules, and the Opposition keeps an eye on them; not remove their eyes and break their legs!

Now you all know (I knew it from the onset) the reasons for all the wars, battles, protests, monkey-antics, tent cities, strikes, claims that government is unconstitutional and illegal but demands for dialogues with same government (all delaying tactics and jitter-bug dances), no president (unless a president like Michael Aoun or Suleiman Franjieyeh, who will march to Syria’s and Iran’s drum-beats, and hum their tunes), no this or that or the other unless this and that and the other, Etc, and so forth and so on: Syria/Israel Peace Deal; the dismissal of The International Tribunal; and bribes: cash and industrial benefits for Syria!

As for the Opposition; they shall remain the same: The ‘0-Position’ or ‘The Zero’ that Syria adds to its figure to make it more or less: on the right = more, on the left = less.

As for Lahhoud, Berri, Nesrallah, Aoun, Franjieyeh, Wahab, and the rest of them; they shall continue to enjoy Syria’s boots on their necks and Iran’s boots in their mouths!

SYRIA WITHDREW IN THEORY, BUT STAYED IN PRACTICE; MORE AND WORSE THAN BEFORE. IT WENT OUT THROUGH THE DOOR AND CAME BACK IN THROUGH THE WINDOWS.

Shadows cannot and do not exist without objects and light. Syria’s shadows - which it calls its FIENDS - are still very raucous active and highly destructive only because Syria is still here. Emile Le-Hood, Michael Aouu, Silly-man Frantic-Franjieyeh, Nabih Beriberi Berri, Hassan Nesa-Allah Nesrallah, Wigwam-head Wahaha, and all the rest of the opposition have imposed shadows between Lebanon and the Lebanese people, and the light of Freedom and the right to manage their own affairs.

BEIRUT: Three years after Syria had ended its near 30-year military presence in Lebanon withdrawn its troops, Damascus stands accused of Syria is still pulling strings here; keeping its tiny neighbour paralysed by political deadlock.

On 26^th 2005, Syria withdrew the last of its officials who had reigned as the actual leaders in Beirut, as the final 14,000 troops of a force which had once numbered 40,000 were sent home. They are all still here, and more than before, disguised as tradesmen, workers, manual labourers, and bagel-sellers; with weapons hidden but instantly available. Not all of us are Etc and so forth and so on!

The pullout was the result of international pressure after angry street protests and demonstrations in Lebanon sparked by the assassination of former Prime Minister, Rafiq Hariri; an attack that many blamed on Syria. The pullout was a only a show that was put on to hoodwink the Lebanese and throw dust into the eyes of the rest of the world, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out that Kofi Annan and The UN orchestrated it. I told you: Not all of us are Etc, and so forth and so on.

Damascus denied all involvement in Hariri's death. So what? Whoever heard or read of murderers or any other criminals admitting or confessing to crimes from the onset of investigations? They dodge and avoid, lie and squirm, and weep and sneer, and…until they realise that the evidence against them is fool-proof and hole-proof; then they start thinking up ways and means of bargaining for their miserable lives!

Syrian forces swept into Lebanon in 1976, a year after the outbreak of a bloody civil war which raged for 15 years until 1990 and left more than 150,000 people dead and thousands more missing. HEY! FUCK YOU! What about the millions who left the country with only their shirts on their backs - so to speak - and the hundreds of thousands who are still leaving - scattered to the four winds? BY GOD!

The row has pitted the anti-Syrian ruling coalition, which primarily comprises Sunni, Christian and Druze factions, against the Hezbollah-led opposition consisting mostly of Shiite and Fake-Christian political groups.

The opposition considers the government illegal and illegitimate - and yet calls for dialogues with this very same illegal and illegitimate government - parliament has not convened for 16 months, and Suleiman is also set to leave office as head of the army at the end of August, risking a void in the military leadership. All according to Syria’s and Iran’s plan and all according to the gospels of Syria and Iran via their ASSES!

Parliament, led by Beriberi Berri who is also one of the opposition leaders, has not been able to meet to pass legislation for more than a year. But, my dear fellow-Apes! Have you forgotten? Parliament belongs to Beriberi Berri. It is his fish-shop, and he has decided: “I tell you no more fish, until and unless my Masters say so!” And the Sneaker’s Chair is his domain!

The recent Syria-Israel peace talks may fool the rest of you out there, but not I, myself, and me: Daniel in The Lion’s Den! They have been going on and taking place for decades; ever since Syria lost the Golan Heights to Israel! Syria and Israel have used Lebanon as a theatre, the battle-ground, the boxing ring, in order to settle their differences.

Syria wants to use Lebanon as a hostage to be used in exchange, or to be traded, for political, security, and economic advantages; first, the delay, then the dismissal, of “The International Tribunal" charged with probing Hariri's death and bringing the criminals to justice. But Syria's allies or FIENDS in Lebanon reject such claims. So what else is new?

Widespread violence in the Rift Valley following disputed election results led to the death of more than 1,200 people and the displacement of 350,000. Both the President and the Prime Minister have agreed to work together to resolve the problems. But even if reconciliation and compromise were achieved and the problems were resolved, the IDPs would still find it very difficult, if not impossible, to return to their homes unless the hatred and animosity between the two sides were resolved; which is almost impossible.

NAIROBI: The suspension of talks between key political parties, announced on 8^th April, could slow or halt progress made in returning hundreds of thousands of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to their homes, humanitarian officials said.

The opposition, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), suspended talks with the President's Party of National Unity (PNU) on the formation of a coalition cabinet in line with an accord signed in February. Meanwhile, more than 1,500 people died and an estimated 350,000 others were displaced between January and February following violence in parts of the country sparked by the disputed presidential elections held on 27^th December 2007.

SOMALIA-YEMEN: Migrants dying and missing in the Gulf of Aden

SANAA: 22 migrants drowned off the coast of Yemen while trying to cross the Gulf of Aden from Somalia to the Arabian Peninsula state. The crew of the ship carrying around 120 migrants forced them to jump into the sea off Yemen's coastline to swim to land. 22 migrants died and 12 were still missing. The migrants could not find their way to the beach as it was too dark, and some were too exhausted to swim. The rest of the group survived and were being cared for in the port city of Aden. More than 1,400 clandestine immigrants have died trying to cross the Gulf of Aden from Africa in 2007, while more than 28,300 people managed to reach the Yemeni coast, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees said in December. The crossing takes two days at best and is especially dangerous because the gulf is shark-infested, not to mention powerful currents and the inhumane conditions on poorly maintained vessels open to the elements.

BEIRUT: Speaker Nabih Beriberi Berri's latest ‘call for dialogue’ aimed at ending Lebanon's political crisis showed increasing signs of life on Thursday after additional signs that resistance to the proposal from the ruling March 14^th coalition could end; have begun to thaw. The process began on Tuesday when MP, Walid Jumblatt, the March 14^th stalwart champion who heads the Democratic Gathering bloc in Parliament, endorsed the call for dialogue as he left a meeting with the speaker. It was then reported that Jumblatt contacted MP Saad Hariri, the leader of the parliamentary majority who is currently in Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday to brief him on the meeting with Berri.

BEIRUT: Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak, said on Wednesday that the strained relations between Syria and Saudi Arabia were reflecting negatively on the political crisis in Lebanon. Mubarak had reportedly asked French President Nicholas Sarkozy during an earlier meeting in Paris to exert pressure on Syria; urging it to facilitate a settlement in Lebanon.

PESHAWAR: While driving across Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province which lies along the country’s western border with Afghanistan, more and more often, in the bazaars of small towns such as Kohat, Bannu or Tank, one sees destroyed or ruined buildings standing desolately, resembling scenes of war.

Such scenes have become more commonplace in Peshawar, the NWFP’s provincial capital and a city of over two million people: Most of the affected buildings are shops that once sold music CDs, video or DVD films, or house-tailoring businesses.

All have been targeted by militants who consider “Western entertainment” or the sewing of women’s clothes by male tailors a violation of religious principles.

Girls Schools have also become targets. At least six schools were attacked in the Darra Adam Khel area, about 35km south of Peshawar, in 2008, badly affecting girls’ education, with parents terrified of sending their daughters to school.

A recent bomb attack on a Girls’ Middle School in the Germany Qila area of Darra Adam Khel on 28^th March badly damaged the building. At least five other schools have also been hit in the area, with the blasts timed to avoid loss of life while destroying buildings.

Police rushed into the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Occupied Jerusalem to break up fist fights between dozens of Greek and Armenian worshippers on Orthodox Palm Sunday, witnesses said. Some 20 officers intervened after Armenian worshippers had thrown a Greek Orthodox priest out of the church, sparking a free-for-all. What I would like to know is: why occupied? Is there a country that is not occupied by Human-Large-Monkeys? SUCH HORSE-SHIT! OPT to me stands for Odious Piece of Trash!

Several worshippers then started beating the police officers with palm fronds they were holding for the Palm Sunday celebrations that mark the return of Jesus to the Holy City a week before he was crucified. Jesus was a Jew; born in Bethlehem in Judea in Israel; and Jews were Israelites, so again, why occupied? MORE HORSE-SHIT!

After the incident, dozens of members of Jerusalem's Armenian community marched from the church to the Old City's Police Headquarters in protest at the detention of two Armenians.

Brawls are not uncommon at the church, which is shared by various branches of Christianity, each of which controls and guards, jealously, parts of the site which is considered one of the holiest in Christianity.

Precisely in order to prevent such disturbances, two Moslem families have been entrusted with opening and closing the gates of the church for the past 800 years, a cavernous labyrinth of chapels and crypts built on the site where many Christians believe Jesus was crucified and buried.

Part II of THE DA VINCI CODE: a combination of excerpts from the book itself and my comments - after studies and researches.

According to the book, the fundamental irony of Christianity is that The Bible, as we know it today, was collated by the Pagan Emperor, Constantine the Great, in 325AD. Jesus Christ - whether he was real or a myth - became a historical figure of staggering influence; perhaps the most enigmatic and inspirational leader the world had ever known or heard of at the time (the same could have been said of Moses, Joshua, Elijah and others before Jesus; the same could be said of Genghis Khan, Alexander, Napoleon, Hitler and others; and the same could be said of Buddha and the Prophet Mohammed today) - through no fault of his, since his story had been nourished and thickened with too many additions, reduced and refined with too many subtractions, and swollen beyond credibility with too much imagination.

His life and his works - again whether true or fabricated; and knowing the mischievous and malicious mind of Man-the-Monkey, I believe they blew the whole thing way out of proportion in order to exploit the works of the poor man, and the man himself, to the utmost and outer-most limits - had been recorded by thousands of his followers all over the land. In the end, and after much time and thought wasted in sifting and sorting through them all, more than 80 gospels were selected for The New Testament but only a relative few were chosen for inclusion: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John among them.

Constantine was baptized on his death-bed - no doubt by the Major-Monkeys around him - when he was too weak to protest. In his day, Sun-worship - the Cult of Sol Invictus, or the Invincible Sun - was the official religion of Rome, and he was its Head-Priest.

Three centuries after the crucifixion of Jesus, his followers had multiplied exponentially and Christians and Pagans began warring incessantly, and the conflicts grew to such proportions that they threatened to rend Rome in two.

Historians still marvel at the cunning and brilliance, and businessman-ship with which he managed to transform the then on the fall Sun-Worship to the then on the rise Christianity, and convert the Pagans to Christians. By fusing pagan symbols, dates, and rituals into Christianity, he managed to create a Hybrid or Mongrel Religion that was acceptable to both sides. In the same way as the Prophet Mohammed managed to create Islam by selecting and fusing the best of Paganism, Judaism, and Christianity.

Nothing in Christianity is original! Transmogrification - grotesque and bizarre! The vestiges of Pagan Religions in Christianity are undeniable. Egyptian Sun-Discs became the Halos of Catholic Saints. Pictograms of Isis nursing her miraculously conceived son, Horus, were the blueprints for our modern images or statues of the Virgin Mary nursing her baby, Jesus; and virtually, all the elements of Catholic Rituals - the mitre and crosier, the altar, the doxologies, and communion or the act of “God-eating” were taken directly from earlier Pagan Religions. Saturday, or the Jewish Sabbath, was honoured by the Christians at the time, but Constantine shifted it to coincide with the Pagans’ veneration of The Sun - Sun-Day.

Constantine was cunning and shrewd enough to realise the prospects and potentials of his Hybrid or Mongrel Creation, Christianity, at the time; and by replacing Horus and Mithras with Jesus and officially endorsing Jesus as the Son of God, he turned Jesus into a Deity who existed beyond the scope of the human world and whose power was unchallengeable. That, not only precluded any further Pagan challenges to Christianity but now (and at the time) the followers of Christ could only redeem themselves through him via the established official channel: The Roman Catholic Church. He also realised that the establishment of Jesus Christ as a divinity was critical and crucial to the unification of the Roman Empire at the time, and the Vatican Power-Base at present; like the Mafiosi say: “It was nothing personal, just business.” They butcher each other for power and control, and it’s only business.

Since I began with The Bible, let me end with it, too. I quote this excerpt, as is, from the book: The Bible represents a fundamental guide-post for hundreds of millions of people on the planet; in as much the same way as The Qur’an, The Torah, The Pali Canon, and the other Holy Books of other Religions offer guidance to hundreds of millions of people all over the world! The points and the questions are: Do they read the books; and if and when they do, do they understand what they read; do they listen to the hidden voices in the books, and what they say; do they believe what the hidden voices in the books tell them; do they follow the guidance the books give them; and finally, do they apply the lessons the books teach them? Or do they read only what they want to read, and understand only what they want to; and if they cannot understand it they way they want it, do they twist it and turn it according to their whims and quirks, to suit their purposes, aims, and goals - and their pockets and bank accounts, too - and then interpret it as it is, when they are finally satisfied with it?

We would do well to remember that no Religion on earth teaches or preaches intolerance, violence, hatred, death, or destruction; all Religions teach and preach tolerance, peace, love, life, and construction. We would also do well to remember that we do not choose our Religion. It is forced upon us by the circumstances and the geographical location of our births. In the end, if there were an end, I believe that it would be not who we are, or where we came from, or how we came, or what our religion was, but what we did along the way.

Additional notes:

In Egyptian mythology, Horus was the Egyptian Sun-God or the God of the Sun, the sky, and goodness, usually depicted as having a falcon's head. Horus was the son of Isis and Osiris.

The pre-Christian God, Mithras - called the son of God and the light of the world - was born on 25^th December, died, was buried in a rock-tomb, and then resurrected after three days. 25^th December was also the birthday of Osiris.

In the Zoroastrian tradition and Persian mythology, Mythras was a Persian God, the god of light, truth, and goodness. He is often shown with a bull, which he is said to have slain before fertilizing the world with its blood.
