I intentionally did not wish you a Merry Christmas, because Christmas is another story for another Posting at another time; and I do not wish you a Happy New Year, since I believe that ONLY FOOLS ARE, OR CAN BE, HAPPY ALL YEAR ROUND. I do, however, wish all of you A GOOD YEAR! With a little Good in one's life, one can be a little happy, which is all one can ask for in one's short sweet dream one calls a life-time. BY GOD AND SATAN!

Death and Destruction, Torn Limbs, Maimed-For-Life, and Traumatized Lives – IN A MOSQUE!

I not only consider it an insult to Man-the-Ape’s intelligence, but also as a means of lowering the capacity of already low-capacity brains! BY GOD!

BAGHDAD: A suicide bomb inside the Shifta Shiite Mosque in Iraq's volatile Diyala province ripped through a reconciliation meeting attended by Sunni and Shiite Militia leaders the day before; Monday 24^th Sept. – a shameless brainless cowardly brutal attack that killed and wounded dozens and fractured an effort to foster amity between rival sects.

Wearing a suicide belt, the suicidal maniac – Al Qaeida would later call him a Martyr and a Hero – blew himself up inside the Mosque in western Baquba during the daily breaking of the fast – which is a religious duty for Moslems during the holy month of Ramada – in the evening after prayers.

Iraq's Interior Ministry and the US military and the coalition and Iraqi forces counted 24 dead and 37 wounded –Daniel: In a Mosque! And in the holy month of Ramadan! BY GOD! Osama Shit-bin Shit-Laden Shit-head Ladin and others like him – Hassan Nesa-Allah, Ayman Zawa-Khiryeh, Etc – have no respect for places of worship or human lives or properties.

Families recovered bodies from the local morgue today, and funerals were held in Shifta for both the Shiites and the Sunnis, who were among the dead.The dead included a Baquba chief of police, a Brigadier-General, the commander of Diyala's police operations – both Sunnis – and the head of the local Shiite Endowment Organisation, which administers Shiite religious facilities in the province.

Two guards of the Diyala's Shiite Governor were killed. The Governor himself was wounded, and one of the two slain guards was his brother. They had been attending the meal with members of the United Jihad Factions Council, a Sunni Coalition of Militias, and the Shiite Muqtada-al-Sadr's Mehdi Army. They were sitting down in an effort to bridge their differences when the attack took place.

The United Jihad Factions Council leaders included the Islamic Army, the 1920 Revolution Brigades, and other one-time insurgent groups that had gotten fed up with Al-Qaeida's methods and the carnage and destruction and were then cooperating with the US coalition and the Iraqi Army and security forces.

Others slain in the bombing were members of two of the council's factions – one of the 1920 Revolution Brigades leaders, and a leader of a Sunni militia called Hamas al-Iraq Brigades.

The breaking-of-the-fast meal was a festival of brother-hood that included more than 800 people – senior provincial leaders, coalition forces, as well as Shiite, Sunni, and various other tribal leaders.

Once again, Al Qaeda had demonstrated the hatred they had for the citizens of Iraq by conducting despicable attacks against its people during one of their most revered and holy celebrations – Ramadan. Daniel: Ramadan Al Kareem, Al Qaeida Al La2eem.

Diyala province -- which sprawls north and east of Baghdad -- was a major front in the Iraq war since the US troop escalation called the surge had begun earlier that month. US troops and Iraqi forces had embarked on offensives targeting al Qaeda in Iraq. Iraqi and U.S. officials, in an attempt to end the country's Sunni-Shiite sectarian strife, had been trying to promote reconciliation efforts across Iraq. Such efforts had been well-publicized in Anbar province west of Baghdad but they had been occurring in other areas, such as Diyala and Baghdad as well.

In other developments, bombs ripped through two commercial areas in Baghdad today Tuesday, killing seven people. Two parked cars packed with explosives exploded in quick succession in the southeastern mixed neighbourhood of Zayouna, killing six people and wounding 24 others. A roadside bomb in the Kamaliya neighbourhood of eastern Baghdad killed one person and wounded three others. The incident took place near an outdoor market in the Shiite neighborhood. Another roadside bomb wounded seven people, including a police officer in the central neighbourhood of Karrada. US soldiers have sealed off an area where a roadside bomb exploded near a US convoy in the northwestern Baghdad neighbourhood of Kadhimiya. Police found 12 bullet-riddled bodies across the capital, bringing the number of bodies found this month to 263. Authorities believed the dumped bodies were instigations to Sunni-Shiite sectarian strife.

Mosques, Churches, Embassies, Schools, Hospitals, Orphanages, Homes, Vehicles, Lives, Limbs, Etc, are all legal and justified targets for Al-Qaeida and other similar packs of rabid rats, jackals, and hyenas in their Jihad in the Maim of Allah and for the Curse of Islam against all who stand in their way. AND! They wait for special Holy Occasions – like Ramadan and other celebrations and festivals to hit where and when it hurts the most!
