My comment:
Any male or female spouses – whether they smoke and/or drink or not – that hold and hug and kiss their child without first brushing their teeth and washing their hands and faces are simply asking for trouble; PERIOD! In any case, hugging and kissing a baby/child may be pleasant for the adult(s) but is definitely not good for the baby/child, since adults have their own special brands and blends of breaths and scents – almost all, if not all, babies/children feel some discomfort and repugnance but are helpless; so they cry – and preventing strangers and even family members and/or relatives and, especially, friends from hugging and kissing one's baby/babies and especially child/children is plain and simple precaution – and wise, too, to boot!
We cannot hide our heads in the sands of our inability to refuse and our reluctance to face facts, because children go through a certain stage in which they are highly perceptive and sensitive, and extremely impressive.
We all know that CHILD SEXUAL-ABUSE AND MOLESTATION always begin with HUGS, KISSES, AND PETTINGS; and if the parents, Etc – and especially the child/children – does/do not mind or complain or protest, then it progresses on to……
The child or children either like it and get used to it, or grow and get to hate and/or despise the adult(s).
In either case, they grow and tend to like adults or members of either the same sex, or the opposite sex – of, or to, those that abused or molested them.
I hope to God I do not have to elaborate.
As for adult men and women or boys and girls hugging and kissing each other; that is a cross we all have to bear and a risk we all have to take if we wish to enjoy life.
As for men/boys hugging and kissing men/boys, and women/girls hugging and kissing women/girls; well, there are gays and lesbians in the world who most probably became so because they had been hugged, kissed, and petted – and probably abused and molested – by the wrong people when they were very young. Who is to say?
In any case, this is too complicated and important a subject or topic to be treated or dealt with haphazardly or half-heartedly and narrow-mindedly. Also, there isn’t enough space or time for it now, so your readers must be satisfied with the above and leave the rest for another time and another day, but definitely NOT ANOTHER YEAR……!

If Banal-Ban Kiwi-Ki-moon is really and truly concerned over and about Lebanon and the Lebanese, then……
Lebanon’s Parliament should convene to elect our next president at The UN – either in New York, or elsewhere. Nothing and nowhere else will do or wash or work.
Leaving things, and lettings move, the way they are is tantamount to deserting and neglecting Lebanon and leaving her to rot in the scorching and ever present joint Syrian and Iranian sun – in other words, throwing her to the rats, jackals, and hyenas (no more mention of dogs, since I had a dog once, when I was very young).
The UN and The UNSC ought to move fast to issue a Resolution to this effect.
Not only that; after issuing the Resolution, they ought to move even faster to implement it by formally and officially notifying all parties concerned and involved – from the President, to The Speaker, to The Prime Minister, to all the Ministers and Representatives – and ordering them to attend, and making sure they do attend, even if they have to be taken or dragged there by force!
All these talks, warnings, and appeals – ALL FARTS FROM BOTH ENDS – won’t wash and won’t do, either.
After Kofi Adamant Asinine Ass-hole Annan, and now Banal-Ban Kiwi-Ki-moon, one wonders what qualifications exactly one has to have in order to become The Secretary General of The UN!

Osama Bin Ladin thought he’d created a militia or movement – AL QAEIDA – which could and would help him, or which he could and would use, to achieve his goals: revert Afghanistan to the STATUS QUO ANTE; convert Iraq to another Afghanistan; and destroy or remove the Saudi Royal Family and convert Saudi Arabia to a Sultanate; then unite the three states into his own brand and version of A United States of Arabia, with him as The Sultan (or even Caliph) of Arabia – with the men moving and staring about with their mouths wide open and their eyes wide shut, like zombies; and the women moving and staring about with their faces and bodies covered (but with their mouths wide open and their eyes wide shut all the same, although none can see them) like phantoms; mute, submissive, and obedient; AND UNDER HIS RULE AND CONTROL!
In other words: UNDER HIS HEELS AND WHEELS!
He has now realised that he'd created a monster that has gone berserk and is now dividing and multiplying into too many monsters; and that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Mahmoud Ahmedinejad of Iran have manipulated and exploited the resulting situations or chaos in an attempt to set up their own brand and version of A United States of Islam – composed of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Israel/Palestine, Syria, Jordan, and especially Saudi-Arabia; and later all the other Arab and other countries, too; with Bashar Al Assad and others like him acting as Proxies while thinking and believing they are Governors – again with the men moving and staring about with their mouths wide open and their eyes wide shut, like zombies; and the women moving and staring about with their faces and bodies covered (but with their mouths wide open and their eyes wide shut all the same, although none can see them) like phantoms; mute, submissive, and obedient; AND UNDER THEIR RULE AND CONTROL!
